There were four recommendations back in September,appointments made....[communities removed] were ruled out. She liked Tessera and [community removed]....:in the end she picked Tessera....but the transition has been painful. She has been difficult, but I know she will come around. They are very thoughtful and the staff will drive you nuts if you let them. Some times too much attention. My Mom went on her first day trip this week and she enjoyed it. The PR and Hair Salon are also good.

1. Very good(5) Warm and kind. Gave a smooth and quick transition to an apartment. Good follow-up. 2. Very clean and well organized (5). Her apartment was refreshed with paint, carpet, lighting, and kitchen countertop. 3. The community overall is very friendly and gives caring attention to new arrivals(5). 4. Quality of care is good. (4) 5. The administration is very good and has a solid level of check-ins and support. 6. Food is okay, but it could be much better. They are severely short staffed, and the Chef is by himself with someone to assist in managing the front of the house. They both work very hard and need to be better supported. If that happens, I am sure the food quality will increase. The front of the house person does a beautiful job setting the dining room. (3) 7. Great level of activities and plenty of variety(5) 8. Great value for the money. (5) Another suggestion I would make is that my Mom has a should condition that limits her pulling herself up to use stairs. The transperson is a bus, and so she has to hire uber or a driver to get errands done or to doctors' appointments.

I'm very impressed with the staff which is caring and attentive to the memory care residents. Whether helping feed them or leading group activities or engaging them in conversation, they interact with each person at the appropriate level for their individual situation.

Our family has really enjoyed my mom's stay at Tessera of Brandon, they take wonderful care of her and ensure that she is safe. We have peace of mind knowing she is there. The staff is very attentive and loving towards not only my mom, but my family as well.

My mom has adjusted well. Food is great. There are different activities every they which keeps her interested in staying there even when I come to get her. At least every other week they have an outing to either shopping or lunch in a local restaurant. She enjoys these a lot! Tessera didn't have the room I wanted from the beginning but they were very flexible in accommodating my Mom and making sure she was comfortable. [name removed]and [name removed] communicate well with me via text as needed. Very accommodating and attentive with my Mom. Cleaning staff is friendly and detailed. If there is a last minute outing they text me to make sure we are aligned and I know where my Mom is at all times.

Beautiful place as well as beautiful people and staff. Yes we would recommend this community to other families, they get a 10. I have already recommended it to many people

Northridge is the perfect blend of independent living yet supports in food, house cleaning, transportation, etc. It was exactly what we were looking for at an affordable price. I would recommend to anyone who asked.

The Regent of Newport News is a former hotel that has been newly renovated into an assisted living facility—and the transformation is exceptional. It bears no resemblance to the typical, often outdated image of a senior living facility. Regent of NN is stylish yet contemporary, both on the exterior and in its welcoming lounge and gathering areas. The resident rooms are thoughtfully designed with practicality and comfort in mind, well-suited for senior living. The staff is friendly and courteous, creating a warm and respectful environment. However, their use of technology—particularly for forwarding, tracking, and managing important paperwork—could benefit from significant improvements to meet modern standards. That said, the absence of the kinds of complaints we experienced at my mother’s previous facility suggests that Regent is meeting, if not exceeding, expectations when it comes to being a caring, proactive, and responsible assisted living provider.

Our Dad lived at Lakeview, Darlington and our entire family couldn't have been more pleased with this facility. The entire staff was incredibly caring and compassionate. Every employee made him and our family feel welcomed and cared for, from the holiday dinners and parties to the everyday visits and entertainment they were all so kind, friendly and helpful. The beautiful country setting, the nicely decorated facility and beautiful outdoor areas make it even more impressive! We are so grateful we found this facility for Dad. Thank you all!

My mother-in-law loves the meals and the dining experience. We like the staff very much as well. Everyone there is very kind and helpful.

Using A place for Mom allowed me to keep my cool and sanity while moving my Mom to a new ALF. The kindness and support from [name removed] was amazing and consistent. The staff at Tessara are caring and supportive. I appreciate that they help provide knowledge and understanding of the process of dementia. My Mom feels safe and is happy living there.

While no facility is perfect, I have been very pleased with Tessera of Brandon as a safe option for my aunt. The staff is very helpful and does their best to support & accommodate residents & family members. Their hurricane coverage was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the safety of residents and continuity of services. Families were also given regular updates on the status of the facility.

This has been the perfect place for our senior family member. The perfect blend of Independence and just enough support to know he's taken care of. The food in the dining room is truly wonderful. Our very underweight family member has gained 30 pounds! The staff is so friendly. I truly give Northridge Apartments a five-star thumbs up!

Regent of Newport News looks magnificent from the outside, but it is literally jaw-dropping upon entering the door.  The entire place is so elegant, spacious, and clean like a very fancy hotel, and the decor and antiques are spectacular.  However, allowing for only 49 residents, it is not so vast that anyone becomes just a number, so each resident continues to get appropriate personalized treatment and care. Far beyond the wonderfully refined appearance and atmosphere at Regent of Newport News is the most amazing part - the staff.  No matter what the title and general expected duties, each staff member dedicates to actually provide hospitality in addition to proper care to the residents.  They actually go out of their way to be quite thorough, considerate, helpful, personable, professional, etc. and have excellent experience and judgment to handle various situations.  All of this extends to the families as well (soon the staff are like family.)  We are so grateful - a dream come true!

All 5 stars for Regent of Stow! The place is fabulous and exceeded all expectations that I had. It is a very nice place for your loved ones.

After mom being there a year we feel confident that she is being well taken care of. She's not an easy person to please at times but they all have smiles and warm greetings when they see her and us. Primarily we choose it for location but also for how the surroundings were kept up and the people who work there attitudes and demeanor. They are always pleasant.

Having mom move into Northridge Senior apartments was a great decision. Everyone there has been welcoming and helpful. Mom says the meals in the evening are wonderful. The grounds and building common areas are kept neat and tidy. Management has been helpful with any questions we've had. Their van driver that takes the residents to the grocery store and library is retiring at the end of the month. Let's hope they can find a replacement for him.

The North Ridge is excellent, we are very pleased. This community had such welcoming Staff when we went to Tour it. They listened to what we were looking for. The location & affordability was a fit. The staff is excellent.The community is very friendly & kind. Very happy here.

Tessera is all fives. They have been great!!! Mom desperately needed 24 hour a day care and Tessera has provided that. Cost is only about 20% of what it would have been in her home.
