There is poor communication. One person will tell you she is eating great and the next person will say she isn't eating. Every time I am there, not one person walks past her room to check on the patients. They do have fun activities.

They are good to the residents. The food is good as well. The rooms are very good size. Have room for a bed, chair, small sofa, lamps etc.

Overall, it was a good experience. She was there for 11 months. I live out of state, so only visited a handful of times. Whenever I did, there was never any toilet paper in her bathroom. A friend who visited said the bathroom was not clean. When she was discharged, she was taken to the hospital due to aggressive behavior and they told the hospital she was not allowed to return. This ultimately left her "homeless" until she was accepted to another facility. So overall, the place was fine, but I do not like how it ended. Also, many items were missing from her room, including a brand new pair of shoes, personal items, pictures, etc. We never got these items back.

my mother had pictures taken of her inappropriately last October and we've taken her out since then but we have not heard anything about the case nobody will answer my questions so I can't say the care there was that great for the value her meals were fine activities I think she went to a few activities but the cost I feel for the care was just a little high. Her clothes were always disappearing and she always had somebody else's clothes they had lost her bedspread for like 6 months nobody knew where it was at and then it just appeared one day when I kept pushing for where it was at.

Overall I've been pretty happy. I'm sure anyone can find issues wherever they go especially when your looking at how there car for your mom. No one can be perfect. You should keep tabs on what is happening and visit or get to know the staff. The room sizes are great. Besides clothes I have not had to bring anything else in for her. Only special treats we take for her.

We weren't very happy with Tranquility. They seemed short on staff and the facility was not very homey feeling.

They don't do what they say they do change pads when dirty/wet. (i.e. change bedding when she has shower get shower when schedule). Bring to a attention health issues Don't use medication provided for issues.( Infected toe sores on buttocks) Don't engage/work with them as a advertised. Don't relay information about residents to next shift. Lost jewelry (never found) bedding, glasses, teeth ( they don't notice things) Meal are always the same thing too fancy, no ordinary home cooked meals. Menu need changed. (i.e. meatloaf alfredo, turn/egg salad sandwiches)

I would not recommend to anyone. Constant change in leadership and staff. Did not follow through on care promised. Very disappointing!

The business administrator gets things done! They need to better their communication.

My loved one was previously a resident at Anchor Bay at Greenwich and the overall experience was just okay. They raised their rates three times in less than a year and a half. More than half of the time, they did not have an Activities Director in Memory Care. They had a few good CNAs, but most of them were per diem and did not care about the residents.

The laundry is not good - many things are lost. Management is not taking responsibility and needs to step up. Most food looks nasty, they need to fix things that the residents will eat. Overall I would still recommend Symphony of Valley Farms.

I would say make sure you keep an eye on your loved one as they don't do quite what they say they do there.

I have concerns with the lack of communication within Care staff and administrative staff in regards to day to day care. Things went missing and no one there took any of this as important. They did not address the situations properly. Based off of our experience there, we would not recommend St. Augustine Plantation to others.

Anchor Bay I didn't like the feel of the memory care wing. It was just one big room when they weren't in thier rooms and they charged you for everything they did as far as care.

The space is beautiful and is very festively decorated for holidays. My mom's bedroom floor, doesn't seem to have been washed in the 3 months she has been there. The receptionist and directors are nice and some of CNA's are, but too many per diem CNA'S.{name removed] is wonderful and there are some good CNA'S, but they use too many per diem CNA'S, who are not familiar with the residence or their care. I heard the food is good.Some of activities are on video, i.e. exercise, which limits human interaction. I think it is a decent place and my mom seems happy.

They have nice sized apartments and its a beautiful facility. We would recommend this community to other families.

Our experience has been okay. There are some items that could use improving overall such as food, activities, and communication with the family. I would recommend you ask several questions to make sure it will be a good fit, and to allow your loved one some time to settle into the community. The community did a great job during the tour of marketing and selling the best of the community, and not all of it has been good for us.

When my Mom was at Symphony some of the care she received was not very good. My Mom was in memory care and half the time she asked for help no one came. Besides taking out the garbage, Symphony staff rarely did cleaning in my mother's room. And we often saw flying bugs in her room, gnats from food left out by the kitchen almost every night.

I toured this community and it was ok. The rooms seemed a bit smaller than most of the other places we toured.
