We chose St. Augustine Plantation at the time because of the value for the money. It was also recently renovated so it had a nice appearance. She said yesterday that someone came into her room yesterday and was not wearing gloves but instead had a powder on their hands. They have had multiple outbreaks of covid which leading to more lock downs for the residents.

The rooms are cleaned on a regular basis. They have had a lot of change in management and weren't good about communicating the changes to the families. Communication with the families is something they need to work on. A lot of the staff show a lot of compassion with the residents and they try to do their jobs the best they can with what they've got.

This place is new and very clean, like an expensive hotel. Caretakers are mediocre as similar in other SE Florida Assisted Living or Memory Care facilities. I had my mother go to 3 different facilities, this is the cleanest and newest. They have hurricane-proof glass and generator, a Big plus here in SE Florida. The caretakers are mediocre, similar to the other institutions. Medical Director is very hard to get a hold of, as compared to the other places. I would probably bring my mother here if I had to do it over again.

I have found The Atrium very satisfactory. The people (both residents and staff) are friendly and helpful; the food is good; the setting is beautiful; we are gradually getting acquainted.

Moving dad did not come without some challenges however things seem to be getting better. He is happy there meeting new people and doing some of the activities.The staff has been wonderful very nice and helpful.The community is clean and well maintained just recently renovated within the last year. Dad seems to like the food some days better than others.

This community was nice but in comparison to others we had seen I didn't care for this one as much. They are not a securely locked community so my husband could have gotten out and wandered. The community was clean and well maintained. The staff was nice and friendly and informative.

This was one of our top choices out of all of the different tours my family and I had taken for my mother. Since having her move into this facility I have seen that a lot of improvements that need to be done. One of the most important ones being the response times the staff has to the call lights. It has not been very fast and that could be a big problem for the future. There also has been a lot of turn over in the staff as far as new people coming in and out a lot lately . I just hope these issues get fixed sooner than later.

Woodholme is okay. They could be a little more efficient with keeping the facility clean. Communication could be better here, but overall, the staff is pleasant. There are plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. Not the best, but not the worst.

My parents have been in tranquility for a few weeks now. I have not been but my sister moved them in. The main feedback I'm Getting is that the employees are really sweet there. Very kind and work hard to see that my parents feel welcomed and comfortable. That seems to be paramount. My parents like the hot breakfast but overall the food is average and somewhat institutional style. My sister said my Mom's room smelled and she wished they'd address it but overall the personal touch of the aids is above average.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This seemed like a nice place overall, but I did not like the fact that residents using medicaid waivers were limited to shared rooms.

It was good; however, the food. Everytihng was pasta, so being a diabetic, having high blood pressure, they had pasta for every single thing and they didn't havew any choices like weight watchers or low sodium or something like that. For whatever reason, it seems to have a major turnover in staff, they switched management and there was a lot of turnover. It didn't really affect her care, but it was upsetting to her not to have the same people taking care of her.

They don't give a lot of food. Sometimes, they run out of food, Depending on where you sit, a lot of time, they run out of Desert. Depending on where you sit. .

My parents stay in the memory care unit. The staff there is great but the highlight of their day and their lives is mealtime! For the money we spend for them to stay there the food is horrible! Most of the patients aren't given a choice in the unit! Have to beg for ice for drinks! Today lunch was terrible chicken salad on lettuce, slaw and ice cold sliced potatoes. Never heard of such a combination! Soups consists of odd combinations also. Vegetable had 4 peas and 3 carrot squares with so much hot sauce! Nobody could eat it! I don't know who makes the menu but they need to give up that job and give to someone that knows what they are doing. The bldg is clean and seems to be updated. Only draw back to this facility is the quality of food!!!!!

The overall score was a 3 and while we are not fully blaming them for our loved ones fall, our loved one did break her hip after not being in there even 3 months so for that reason we couldn't give it anything higher. I do wish these nursing facilities could start using the foam padded material that they use for kids playgrounds, so when the elderly fall there is less of a chance of breaking bones. However, Symphony was as close to a "home" feeling as I got from any of the other 6 facilities I looked at.

I would rate my overall experience with Woodholme about a 3 on a scale of 1-5 mainly due to cost concerns/issues and open, ongoing communication with professional staff regarding residents' healthcare needs. We've experienced unavailability when we've contacted nurses and the director with questions or concerns.

No communication. Trying to get someone to call you back was difficult at times.

Dealing with Woodholme Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Pikesville overall thus far has been a fairly positive experience. Woodholme rates higher in facility attractiveness, meals, and activities. Staffing needs to be increased with quality, qualified staff from the Director’s position to the health aide’s positions. Most of the staff has been observed to be friendly and caring, however, unfortunately, my brother has experienced some staff who have not been pleasant and have demonstrated unexceptionable healthcare practices. Healthcare services at Woodholme overall could improve. There have been several times when my brother has fallen in his room and has used his alert to call for help and no one immediately responded. He ended up waiting a substantial period of time. The cost of Woodholme is way too much to be encountering these major short comings we’ve experienced at WALF, especially in the most essential areas of affordable cost and healthcare services.

Today my sister in law, a resident of Wentworth was discharged by the hospital. Because the release happened after 3 pm, Wentworth said she needs to go back the following morning, "It s protocol". So she is now with her clothes and a bag ready to go back sitting at the local hospital on her bed waiting for tomorrow morning to go back to her residence for which she pays in advance every month. My discussion with staff was always answered with the word" Protocol" . Few times earlier this year she got back from a hospital stay to the residence later in the evening and nothing was said. If something has changed in your protocol, you need to inform to everyone involved and the date of the regulations that are in effect.

I think they did a really good job onboarding. It is a very intimate facility. However I did feel that they nickle and dime you to death
