We chose Tranquillity several months ago and they have exceeded our expectations. We were very nervous about moving our mother and as most people we felt guilty that we were unable to care for her, the staff quickly comforted us and [name removed] did a wonderful job pairing our mother up with several residents to help with making her comfortable. The managers and staff checked on her and us daily to make sure everything was well. Mom adjusted fairly quickly and she loves her forever home and neighbors. Thank you to all the staff, they are special people!

There is nowhere in Tallahassee I would have rather had Mom go than St. Augustine Plantation after having had terrible experiences at two other assisted living centers. [name removed] ran the facility efficiently and took great personal interest in everyone there, including Mom, and she went the extra mile to meet her needs. Mom very much liked all of the nurses and staff. All the tenants we spoke to were very happy to be there. The building was very clean and safe. The food was exceptionally high quality. The very few concerns we had were addressed immediately. They had a great working relationship with Big Bend Hospice, so when it was time for Mom to go there it was a seamless transition. I do not hesitate to give my full endorsement and I would plead that anyone who has the opportunity to place their loved one in an assisted living facility to make St. Augustine Plantation their only choice. God bless [name removed] and all of her staff for making Mom’s last days as happy as possible.

Our experience with A Place for Mom was outstanding. My mom is adjusting well and really likes it there at Brookridge. Their staff has been very pleasant to work with. As I mentioned, my mom is very happy there and staff has been outstanding.

The facility is warm and inviting. You are encouraged to express concerns and they are addressed in an efficient manner. Large rooms and bathrooms. Cleaned daily and beds made. Many activities offered that center around entertainment and memory care.

When we moved mom to memory care at Tranquilliy a few months ago we were nervous and upset that she couldn’t stay home, but as soon as we walked through the door all of our anxiety and feelings of guilt dissipated. All the managers helped us with the move in and spoke to my mom like she was a queen. They were doing spa day and included mom right away, she completely forgot her troubles and anxiousness. As we left she was happy and didn’t want to get up from her activity to tell us goodbye. Here we are several months in and she is just as happy as she was on day one. We cannot thank all the staff and management at Tranquillity, they are very special people and recommend them highly to everyone.

What the community could improve on would be better communication from nurses and doctors visiting mom. However, even thought I have not been there in a year, I would recommend this community to other families.

This community is well kept, there’s active and happy residents and they have proven to our family exactly why they were so highly recommended. We moved my father to the memory support, we were very emotional about this next chapter in our father’s life but when we met with [name removed], her guidance and reassurance during the tour process and even following move in has given us comfort knowing we’ve chosen the best place possible for Dad. The entire staff is incredible and has turned what we thought was a heartbreaking decision into a situation where our Dad is thriving and we couldn’t be happier. THANK YOU [names removed] AND THE REST OF THE ELEGANCE TEAM! I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful and loving community.

The aides are friendly and know the clients by name. They treat your family member like they are their family. I am only familiar with a one bedroom unit . The bedroom itself is huge, easily fitting a queen size bed, 2 night stands, dresser, and recliner. The other room is smaller with a microwave and dorm refrigerator provided. However there is room for a loveseat, and small kitchen table with 2 chairs. They have a beautician who comes once a week. There is access to a small exercise room with limited physical therapy available. And there is an activities director who offers group games, crafts etc.

I have been here since this past September it was a big event for me and made so easy by you. The staff here quickly learned my name and were so helpful to me. Much to my surprise staff help with the move in and later hung all my art work. They even made sure I am at home in the dinning room

The friendly staff and my mom feeling like she's at home. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Beautiful decor. Lovely grounds. Great activities. Good food and nice size rooms.

They were wonderful with Dad. From the nursing staff, to the dietary and activities director. They made sure all residents were involved in their day to day events.

It was very easy to get my aunt enrolled at St Augustine Plantation. Overall she is happy with the staff and her physical therapy and her occupational therapy has been ongoing since she arrived. We are working with staff to get the FSU medical team to check on her. I have another friend there now and had 2 different friends there in the past.

I toured many places in my search for assisted living for my parent. Symphony stood out to me not just because it’s pretty but because it’s clean, bright, comfortable and has staff who have been there longer than a minute. Most communities I toured had brand new directors which seem to have a revolving door, but not Symphony. They have had the same director for over 3 years and even most of the care staff have been there several years. From the moment I took my first tour with [name removed]to the communication with the staff since move-in with [name removed] it’s all been seamless and comforting. [name removed]at the front desk knows everyone by name, it truly feels like home. We are happy with our choice.

Atrium at Serenity Pointe is the friendliest place on earth!! What stuck out most about the facility was the atrium area, and lake setting. The facility is more like a resort than an assisted living.

5 for overall. The elevators need some work. The staff are naturally friendly, it is not forced or fake. natural, not forced or fake. They genuinely want to know my moms needs and wants. Super professional and ALWAYS available. When it comes to the meals and dining service, a picture or sample tray would help those who can no longer read or remember. There are enough options for activities. Overall happy with our experience and we researched for 2 years!

Symphony is a place my mom can call home and truly feel at home. The food is good, the staff is caring and communicative and there are always activities happening and people to socialize with. We looked at many places in the area and felt comfortable with Symphony and it’s continued to prove to be the right choice for us.

Symphony Assisted Living is a warm supportive place with many wonderful activities to stimulate residents. Good administrators, good staff excellent food in the dining hall wonderful activity, director with fun parties and events. Very happy with my choice for my aunt.

Being that this facility is an assisted living facility I believe a better form of communication between staff(medical )and family members of residents needs improvement. They are there for a reason whether it be mental, physical or both. I would like to know if my mother -has a cold -not eaten a meal - change in medicine -change in mental behavior -any other medical situation Not saying I need a phone call, full medical transcripts for everything (unless it serious), but a simple text message would help keep me informed of her situation. Can I access her medical charts? Are there doctor/nurse notes? Something similar to iChart? A web app though your facility that I could access to monitor her? That would be better than a phone call or text. I have a reasonable expectation of professionalism to be provided by your facility, which at this point has been professional and appreciated, but lacks in this area. A simple cold is not a simple cold at this age. A cold can quickly escalate into a serious illness. I understand that my mother isn't the only resident at your facility and each resident is unique in their needs. But I am paying for attentive care and focused housing. Anyone paying for a service such as this should expect no less.

My wife and I have been searching for a senior living community for my Mom for a few months now. We met with [name removed] who was fantastic with helping us from the moment we walked in the door, she was attentive and made it a point to learn what was important to us and my mom. The rest of the staff was very nice, the building is well kept and residents we spoke to raved about living there. We would have saved a lot of time if we started our search with Elegance lake worth! I recommend this community and would say to start by touring them first they set the bar high and I am happy to give my feedback and recommendation for them.
