My mom chose The Landing and wanted to go there. She felt it was a warm environment and felt more like home. That being said, it was still an adjustment for her. It's taken a few months for her to accept that she's there, and it was not an easy process. So for other families, know that even though the service is great and the staff are friendly, it does take an adjustment period. But they really try to keep her on track. They have people coming in and out of her room all the time to check on her. Even though she's in the room by herself, people are always coming in and out. Their communication is out of this world. They call you about everything that happens. I'm never without knowledge of what's going on. If she falls or is getting PT or getting her hair done, they always call about everything. She does not like the food, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that food is hard to chew with dentures. And sometimes they serve Mexican food or things she didn't grow up with. She prefers more of the American classics, which they do serve as well. They do have quite a lot of activities, and they all try to get her to go. It's expensive, but all of these places are. I shopped around, and their price is comparable and on point with what's in the area.

Our family had an in person tour and right off the bat they immediately had our vote. Some things that were very important to us was that it significantly less money then other communities we were looking at. Also, they have two different levels of dementia care, and if they day ever came where she got worse she could move to the other level for memory care, and they would take care of the move. We liked that instead of moving to a completely different community, she would just have to move to another side of the building.

The Newer Beaver Dam Assisted Living and Memory Care, owned by BAKKA Enterprises, offered my mother exceptional care. The staff was always so kind to us and attentive to my moms needs. The facility and grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept. Her room was always neat and clean and the food was fresh and of higher quality than anywhere else we toured. The residents that live there seem very happy. The Activity program has SO much going on! They are always taking the bus out on an excursion someplace fun! The Management was always available to talk if we had questions. We had toured so many other places for mom but none of them compared to Beaver Dam Assisted Living. Hands down the best Assisted Senior Living and Memory Care in the area!

This is our #1 pick so far. Inviting friendly atmosphere. Clean. They get to choose/order what they want for breakfast and alternatives available if they don’t want what is being served for lunch and dinner. Smaller room but has a small fridge and no wave, bright with big windows and view of green bushes/trees. Has big bathroom with wall-in shower. Building has lots of outdoor spaces and love the sunroom overlooking g large outdoor area. They bring a snack cart around to rooms 3 x/day and have a lot of activities and entertainment. Feels like a good fit for them but wish the room was a little bigger. We need to give them our decision by Friday.

Nice facility in a quiet area. Jessica was very helpful in making the admission process understandable and convenient.

Our family was able to do an in person tour before the pandemic and we got to see a lot of what the community had to offer and it was really nice.

I loved the tucked-away location of Maple Ridge! The set-up has a cottage type, relaxing vacation type of feel with a home-like comfort and coziness! The floor plans were simple . . . not easy for a resident to get lost, the rooms were cheerful and clean, and the safety & security of residents seems to be a top priority! I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED by the ratio of help per resident (1 resident per 6 to 8 assistants) --- [name removed]

Our loved ones have only been there for about five months, and so far it has been a good experience. At this point the interaction and attention to detail of the needs of the residents have been excellent, they have done a good job. The community is mostly clean, there is a couple things they could do to make it more presentable. Our loved ones had not complained about the food so we have to assume it is pretty decent. The activities are coming back but our loved ones still have had minimal interaction.

I am very happy with the community. My loved one seems to enjoy it. It is a good value and I would recommend it. It is friendly and clean. The staff communication with the family is good. They send out a weekly email. If there are any concerns about my loved one the staff call me

We chose Bella Vista because of the price as well the facility is self it s like a glorified hotel inside, it is so bright, clean, and pretty. The apartment sizes here are really spacious and the bathrooms are set up well for handicap residents. The staff here are great, the food is good, and they have a lot of amenities such as a pub, parlor, social areas, etc. It is great because he has independence but they have care packages you can purchase as well. Overall it has been a good experience.

It's been so tough with Covid not being able to go inside. They're really helpful at assisting and navigating the transition to the facility. When we moved our loved one in, everything seemed really clean and tidy. They've been very friendly and open to accommodating where possible. They've been relatively good with communication given the circumstance. Activities have been limited due to Covid, but they still have a regular calendar of activities while keeping things safe, which I appreciate. Bingo seems to be really big here. What I've seen so far has been good, but I'll know more once Covid restrictions ease.

We toured this community and the tour was great. They gave us lots of info and several options. The community is an older facility and just didnt fit our needs.

We chose Willow Falls because of the friendliness of the everyday staff members as well as administrative staff. We also had a friend whose parents were here and they were very impressed with it. Dad also has a very spacious, beautiful apartment, 2 bedroom 1 bath. It is very clean, they do provide a cleaning service and they do a nice job. Dad is not the biggest fan of the food, sometimes it is cold and he said it just isn't very tasty. Overall I am pleased and so is my dad, I would absolutely recommend to others who are looking.

We chose Dimensions Living because of the cost as well as it was the closest to his home, so he was familiar with the area it was in. The staff members have been very good with communication, they give us weekly updates and are very quick with responding to emails and phone calls. I would highly recommend to others looking.

Covid really made getting to experience this community really difficult, but the value was very cost effective. They were lower than all the other surrounding places we had looked at.

The staff is great. The director is absolutely wonderful. Communication is good between the staff and the families, and they keep us well informed. They return calls and emails quickly and everyone including the receptionists jumps in and helps out whenever needed. I would recommend this community to others. The nurses are wonderful and they go above and beyond. The activities director is hands-on and mom loves the games

I cannot say enough about the care our family member had while at this facility. The staff was wonderful to her and treated her with respect and kindness. They always kept family members up to date on how she was doing. I would recommend this facility highly.

The community is just like a family. they are always available to answer questions and are very nice. They are creative and accommodating in finding a way for us to visit safely.

I don't have any complaints they have been wonderful. The rooms are a good size but they do have different floor plans avalible. the food looked but I have not tried it. The initial contact with the community could have gone better but once we moved in everything was great I would recommend this community to others

I would recommend this community to others. They were very fast at getting everything set up also. They are friendly and went above and beyond while my mother was there. The monthly amount is comparable to others in the area.
