Woodside is in a lovely setting with a nice selection of living arrangements/apartments. Having units all on one level is easy for residents to get around. A few areas I think they can improve on are: >training of care assistants and >more variety of activities including appropriate exercise programs wiith better marketing to residents.

They are SUPPOSED to clean the tennants rooms once a week, but, it doesent always get done. They wash the tennents clothes and bting them back inside out and all wrinkled.

Overall Woodside is a respectable facility. compared to other locations it appears a littles shop worn...needs care and updating..particularly its outward appearance. The overall help is good ..with exceptions at the front desk..when you need assistance...However even 3 of the 4 employees were more then willing to answer questions and help out.

Did not seem cozy enough for mom. More like a hotel/hospital.

There are some good caregivers and some were better than others. They engage him to join the daily activities. Housekeeping kept everything clean. The food wasn't very good and had no variety and the portion of the food was microscopic. There were 5 choices daily and 3 were always the same. The therapy was really good.

I've enjoyed living at Hilltop

I feel this is a so-so facility. First of all, it seemed as if the facility was not expecting our visit. We had an enthusiastic, but young, tour guide. I know that the facility has been around longer than the others we have been visiting but even the room that is the show room showed signs of age and was not really attractively furnished. Also, the residents did not seem to be engaged. The young tour guide did get someone else to answer our questions regarding the pricing, given my mother's situation and it is about $1,000/month less than the others, but I don't think I feel comfortable having my mother live there.

Very kind and friendly. Realized they would not be the best option for our Dad and recommended other facilities. Provided tour. The size would be overwhelming for Dad--felt like a hotel.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. Overall my tour was a good one. Everyone was kind, and friendly to my family, and I. The community from what I saw appeared to be nice, and clean. The staff was kind. It was a nice experience, but not the community for us.

It has been okay for us being here. When I was working with [removed] it was a 5 star experience. I understand it is a tough job but the staff are not as compassionate for the residents. We need a lot help and it's a lot of work. Other wise the community is kept clean and they are making good food meals to eat.

We toured this community when looking for my husband. It was a nice community but it the waiting list was too long. We felt like even if he got in here it would be too crowded. We decided on another community.

They keep this community clean. Most of the staff are nice and helpful. There have been times, however that I was not able to locate a staff member or there was only one on the floor. The food is good and they offer a good quantity. They do offer some activities. The management is very nice and helpful. I would recommend this community.

Initial cursory visit. Non- responsive after follow-up contact. Stopped returning calls.

There are benefits and concerns my family and I have with this community. The community is very clean and feels very comfortable. The apartments are large, and pleasant. The concerns we have are that, when we toured the community, we were invited to try the meals. The meal we were given consisted of a main course and salad which was nutritious, and now that my loved one has moved in, that has declined significantly. Now my loved one receives things like a piece of fish bread or a hotdog and chips. No fresh fruit or salads. This makes us feel betrayed. We understand that sometimes changes occur, we would still expect it would only take a couple of weeks, Also, during our tour they told us there would be a lot of activities which have not happened yet, my loved one.We have been very patient and reluctant. The community itself is nice.

This community has recently gone through a major change in staffing. Just about all of the management has been changed. We did hear some complaints about the night staff not being as nice as the day staff. We had to call to get some things cleaned in the apartment. The food is still good. You do not hear back from the person you requested to speak with. We are hoping this is a temporary change as the communication between the staff as well as with the families is not there.

I will give this facility one more try as to a tour and visit when last we were there a lot of the people staying there were ill with some form of Colon issue therefore we did not have the opportunity to see any of the residents staying there or really any staff everybody was very sparse

We have one resident living in independent living and one resident living in the memory care unit. In the memory care unit they need to pay more attention to the residents, there is not enough care provided.

Residents not as happy or at home. Tile floors everywhere made it fell more institutional than other places I have visited.

Bella Vista is a beautiful community in a equally lovely setting across from a park on Lake Winnebago. There are 5 floors, long lovely corridors and spacious accommodations. The only thing that concerned us is what appeared to be insufficient staff available. For our mother who needs 24/7 assistance, there just did not seem to be enough staff to give her this care.

The tour guide was excellent & answered all of our questions. Some areas in the facility had strong foul odors of urine. Residents were in activity area. Most were not participating. Halls too long for walking to dinning areas.
