My mother chose to move here a few years ago. She loved it from the tour. When she moved in, she needed no support, just accessibility. Since then, her needs have slowly shifted. The staff have stepped in just enough in every case. They support her independence, while giving her compassionate and joyful interactions during their support. I Facetime with my mother often, and have overheard many unplanned interactions with her and staff, all pleasant. They always know to ask her about her new granddaughter, which makes her happy. I have heard them sit through the same stories multiple times with enthusiasm as though it was their first hearing. Staff have always been there to communicate with me, which makes living far away for work much easier. During this pandemic, they took great care to keep her safe. They increased services as needed. Their tone was perfect, so that my mother felt safe not restricted. Some staff even sent me photos and videos of my mother waving from the balcony, during drive-by concerts by thoughtful community members; an unexpected but very personal touch. I truly cannot speak highly enough of the people who work here. They do anything they can to ensure residents are happy.

This community is doing a wonderful job keeping residents safe and healthy during COVID-19. Everyone is engaged and the housekeeping staff is excellent. Seniors living here are happy and safe!

The staff at The Palms is very friendly. Management and office technical were always very friendly and understanding of our family's situation. The cost of the community is a little high especially for a single resident. They have only light entertainment and light social options. Overall, the care is good quality. There were a few incidents where they were not able to assist my aunt because they were understaffed. They also seemed to have some issues with time management, so there was limited help available. Aside from that, the care giving staff was always very attentive, which we appreciated. The staff seems adequately trained and they do seem to care about ensuring new staff are familiar with the needs of the residents. The building itself is in a nice quiet area. It was very continent for my family to get to and we liked the location. My aunt when she first moved was not participating in many activities, however as time went on, she began to participate more and more. While my aunt didn't always take part, there were always activities available for the other residents.

It's a wonderful place to live, I feel like I am on vacation. They take very good care of us. The units are good sized. Food is okay. There is a lot of outdoor space. There is an orchard that we can walk through. There are a lot of places to walk around. We spend time outside everyday. The building looks like a castle and I feel like a queen.

The first day I moved in I felt at home. The staff is great. They have entertainment on Friday nights and they have other activities. They try to accommodate resident needs regarding activities and interests. I am a Resident Ambassador here, I like to be involved. The sales manager is great. They are very up front about everything.

The staff are very helpful and nice. They really took the time to get to know my sister and her unique needs. They are so patient with her. The manager is very hands-on, always there, very pleasant, and always smiling. I was very impressed with activities director. She goes out of her way to find things of interest for each resident. The staff have also been wonderful with me. They have been patient, helpful, answer all of my questions, offer insight, and have been very supportive. They are also able to keep the prices within reason and have been able to work within my sister's budget. When I was looking at communities, I was looking for three things : for her to feel safe, loved, and protected. I have found Elmcroft to meet all of these needs for my sister.

The facility is nice and it has a good layout . Staff is nice. The food is good. Location is convenient for traveling between my sister and I. The courtyard is nice and the rooms are a good size. My brother has a studio and he is pleased with it.

Good location close to our family and St Clair Hospital where my doctors are. The food is good. Everything is just the way we like it. I was an Ombudsman for Skilled Nursing for many years and knew I did not want to move to Skilled Nursing. Solstice is a good option for us. We have no complaints. I would highly recommend Solstice to anyone.

Value is better than anyone else around. They are very responsive. They pay close attention to both my mom and dad, who have different care needs. They are very professional. They are great at communication, and keeping in touch with me about my parents' care.

Kudos to the Administration and ALL the staff at Brookdale Quincy Bay for their compassion, thoughtfulness and professionalism in the way they have managed the coronavirus. They insure that the residents have every need met, not only during this crisis, but at all times. The residents are fortunate to have staff on hand where the smallest detail receives full attention. As the saying goes, “It is difficult to please all of the people all of the time, etc.” but Brookdale Quincy Bay has succeeded. They have given more than 100% during this difficult time. They deserve to be recognized for their dedication.

Solstice Senior Living at Palatine is a wonderful senior community. They have a beautiful community full of positivity and light. The staff is very warm and friendly and loves to have fun! The apartments are spacious and affordable. The activities are engaging and enjoyable. The food is very good as well. They strive to keep the residents happy and healthy. They work hard to create a happy, fun and safe environment for all of their residents. They have a nurse on staff and care providers available if a senior care needs increase. Solstice is a wonderful place to live life vibrantly!

We did a good bit of looking before we placed my father in law, and have been so happy we found Riverplace. They have been so great with the transition both my father in law and our while family.They problem solve on a multi dimensional level. The care is not one size fits all. Riverplace is such a caring place. A real weight has been lifted off our family knowing he is at Riverplace.

Solstice Senior Living is in a beautiful setting and for independent living it really is a good community. The staff are really caring and willing to help the residents. The food isn't really that good. It is a nice place to live for independent living.

We put our mom in Elmcroft of Southport. It was a hard decision but we are sooo happy we moved her there. She has dementia. The staff is very caring and like family. She is very happy having new friends and lots of activities. We are very relieved that she is happy and enjoying herself in this beautiful setting.

MY MOTHER HAS BEEN THERE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS & I LOVE THE PLACE AND ALL OF THE WORKERS THERE. THEY ARE VERY UPLIFTING KEEP THE RESIDENTS BUSY & HAPPY. IT IS A BRIGHT SURROUNDING . [name removed]& HIS STAFF ARE THE BEST.

The team at Campbell Place is the most dedicated and caring group I have ever met. Their dedication and caring for the residents is unsurpassed. They provide a loving and family-like experience for the residents. I highly recommend Campbell Place for your loved ones and for your own peace of mind.

The staff here has become members of our family, which has been a real blessing with my sister dying and then this pandemic.

My mother has been at Brookdale for over 10 yrs. She is now 97 yrs old and still going strong. The staff - from Director ( and she’s been through a few ??) to the support managers, kitchen and housekeeping, and maintenance crews - all try their best to accommodate the residents with their well-being in mind - both physically and emotionally. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone considering a home for their family member.

All the staff at Campbell Place are excellent in their care of residents as well as keeping family informed...especially during these very trying times with Covid19. The staff is always on top of not only their respective "jobs", but pitch in with other areas whenever/wherever needed. They are always coming up with new and fun activities for residents (they even participate with them) and always have the common area and halls decorated so perfect for each holiday and/or season. I love the way during "normal times", they have a family night each month. I researched every care facility in the county and I was (and still am) very impressed on how clean and bright it is and the residents are all happy and well taken care of. Every one of the staff are so friendly, upbeat and patient with the residents and their families. I couldn't be happier or feel more confident than I am with everyone at Campbell Place! Love you guys!!

Campbell Place has been a wonderful transition for my mother. She adores the staff and they adore her. The staff is caring and helpful. They have handled the COVID19 with professionalism and the upmost care and concern for residents and family. I am thankful my mother gets to live out her final years in a place that is so special!!!!!
