I had a positive experience in this community. The communication was good between the community and the family, they also returned calls quickly. The staff is friendly and the community is neat and clean. I would recommend this community to others

The community is very neat and clean. Before covid, they have gone out shopping and have a bus used for transportation. They have a GPD necklace that the residence gets in case of emergency. she has a balcony to enjoy the outdoors. and the community is pet-friendly. I would recommend this community to others. The community is newer and the community is buetiful.

The staff members would be a 10 plus, and the care services and the care takers were wonderful. Sometimes the night shift workers were not always as diligent with checking on the residents every two hours, but the day shift workers were fabulous. They were very accommodating to our loved one during the meal times especially for breakfast. They managed to be covid free the entire time our loved one was there up until he left. They tested the visitors every two weeks as well as constantly testing the staff members. We also thought it was one of the best values in the surrounding area.

Go take a tour. There is some turnover, but not much. When people move in, they tend to stay there. Your loved one will definitely enjoy it. They've been offering lots of activities, despite the Covid situation. The staff is very nice, and they definitely cater to your loved one. They're certainly better at dealing with day to day issues than I could be. They're very caring and nurturing. We looked at other places, and based on what Summer Place offers, Summer Place seems like the best value.

Hello, my husband and I met with [name removed], so friendly, bright and bubbly, also very informative. We weren’t able to do a walk through, but we did do a virtual tour with her and I did like what I saw. I would like to re-submit my review because it showed up as 2 stars and that was clearly an error. I give State Street Assisted Living 5 stars. [name removed] is great.

We chose Garden Village mainly because of the price, the value for what you get was great. The apartment sizes here vary, the one he is in is big enough for one person. He said that he really enjoys the food provided. They have also been good with communication and keep us informed with newsletters. They have been great to work with and I would recommend them.

This community is almost a year old it is pretty brand new, and the staff members are outstanding they are in constant contact with us regarding anything that is going on with our loved one. They way they work and the reason we moved our loved one down there is because they put all the residents with exception of memory care, in independent living. They live in their own apartment and you just pay extra for the level of care. That is level 1 2 or 3. Our loved one is in her own apartment and they bring her her medicine 4 times a day. She is getting PT, they have a podiatrist make rounds through the community as well as a dentist make rounds if those services are needed. They also have a lady there that does talk therapy with a majority of the residents and we absolutely love her. The level of care there is just amazing.

The staff members would be a six out of five. They are absolutely exceptional, and the care services that they provide are excellent. When it comes to the meals they serve our loved one, she is extremely happy. She loves them. They have activities going on all the time and are always encouraging our loved one to participate in them.

My husband and I were very impressed with Elmcroft senior assisted and memory care living. The brightness of natural light and canned lighting, the cleanliness and decor, the courtyard spaces, the way in which the residents were groomed, the friendly staff, everything about it was what we have been looking for in care for my parents. Elmcroft is definitely on our list of places we are considering for my parents.

Sagebrook is lucky to have many staff members who are very warm, friendly, and attentive to the needs of the residents. The building was remodeled a few years ago and boasts very attractive, modern furniture and decor. The main room is very spacious with a grand piano. There are events and musical entertainment. The garden and walking path around the building are lovely, The entire place is surrounded by open space with trees, flowers and birds. It is an easy walk to Trader Joe's and shopping center. Kaiser and UCSF is just around the corner. What a hidden gem!

I really love The Welstone community, and i really enjoy the meals that they prepare and service us residents here. The apartments are really nice and house keeping comes twice a week if need be.

Morada/ Waterford is a great place for alternative living for the elderly who want to be on their own, but just are not quite able to. They supply all but the furniture, phone and internet service. Dad enjoys the meals and bingo. They have other activities, but he just does not do them.

The cleanliness of the community is great, but due to the covid restrictions they have not had that many activities. We think the value is priceless, she has everything she could need at this place and she is safe there.

I'm not able to go inside due to the pandemic, but I can pick up my loved ones to take them to lunch, and they seem to look good and well cared for. They are very happy here. From what I did see upon moving them in, the facility is so inviting. All the rooms are on two sides of a huge hallway that's more like an atrium or a street. When you walk outside your room, you feel like you're in a mall. There are chairs outside the rooms to sit and visit. It's wonderful. I'm really happy with the environment they're in. The room is a really nice size. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They’ve worked with me to have Facetime with my loved ones, they’ll go plug in a phone battery if I ask, they always go check when I ask if my loved ones need supplies. They’re very responsive to my requests. They bring doctors/dentists/PTs on site, and they use Omnicare so you don’t have to worry about prescriptions. This is a great place - I have and will continue to recommend to anyone and everyone!

My mom was at a point in her life, where she needed to sell her home and move into an assisted living facility. When we arrived at River Woods for a tour, my mom absolutely loved the warm and welcoming reception area. She thought the living quarters were spacious and she was excited about the outside space. The staff member who gave us the tour couldn’t have been more friendly and knowledgeable. All our questions were answered. When we left, it didn’t take mom long to decide that River Woods Place was where she wanted to move to. Five days after she moved in, she told her sister that she “should have moved out of the house a long time ago.” Hearing my mom say those words, makes myself and her family comfortable in knowing River Woods Place is giving her the best life possible. A very warm thank you to the staff at River Woods Place.

From our understanding with speaking with our loved one the meals seem to be fine, ad they are now able to do more things like eat in the dining room with less restrictions. She is enjoying some of the games they have brought back and meeting new residents. The guy who helped us in the beginning was terrific, she is enjoying herself and seems like a very nice place.

My 88 year old uncle lives at this facility in Hoffman Estates, IL. It will be 2 years this [date removed]. I have always believed that the staff & administration are some of the most concerned, responsible & prompt people that I have met. I could ask for a better place for my uncle to live. I would live there when the time comes. Everyone there are always willing to help with whatever you ask of them. Food is very good. Cleanliness is evident in all parts of the facility. I haven’t heard one resident complain about this facility. The administration staff are quick to respond to situations & come up with solutions in a timely fashion. I’ve seen this all during the pandemic.

This is a nice friendly community. It is run very well. They had lots of activities even during the pandemic. They even had different groups for dining to be able to socialize with other residents. The Bonaventure had no cases of COVID. They were very diligent about their protocols.

We have toured over 10 new places in the triangle and independence village was by far the most economical. they have updated rooms and the staff was by far the most welcoming . [name removed] was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the amenities offered. [name removed] was well versed in Covid 19 and the protocols and precautions they are taking here and that made us feel wonderful about this community. We stayed and had lunch and to say it was tasty would not do it justice , the shrimp and grits was out of this world and the bbq bacon cheese burger where cooked to perfection . We will be in touch soon to set up a final date to get mom moved in later this month

Independence Village has been a wonderful place for my friend to live. She's been living there since December of 2019. She tells me all the time about how much she enjoys the Community, that the staff are wonderful (which I have witnessed first hand when I visited her last year), and her fellow Residents are so friendly. She loves to participate in the Bell Choir, play Pokeno, and just joined the Cooking Club. She is happy with all of the food selections and is grateful for not having to cook or clean up anymore (I'm jealous). She highly recommends Independence Village to anyone looking to move into a Retirement Community and I'm so glad she is so happy. Highly Recommended!
