Being involved as a member of the Welstone staff has been very rewarding. They have given me time, training and support to start a new part time job opportunity. With a well managed group, I have had a very easy learning process.

I really liked the director there. She was just so personable and so helpful. The downside for us was the fact that they only had studios there, and no apartments. My loved one had just downsized from a house, so I didn't want to downsize her any further. But I was impressed with what I saw of the facility.

I find that the people are very friendly and very helpful. The staff has been very accommodating with any questions I have. They take care of all my maintenance requests promptly. The dining staff is very accommodating as well. I eat lunch and dinner here. The staff and residents are very helpful and accommodating!

I think it is ideal for those who want to have the activities and amenities in a smaller community. They still have an apartment and come and go as they please. Everything is right there. The staff have been fantastic to work with.

Love El Dorado. Beautiful and homey at the same time. Wonderful staff. A wonderful place to live.

It is a great fit for my dad. He has the support day to day with privacy. They provide housekeeping once a week. My loved one is enjoying the food.

The cost stood out to us most in comparison to all others, and they are pet friendly so our loved one was able to bring her dog. She absolutely loves her apartment, her room looks out over the back of the facility which is beautiful. They have a ton of trees and a huge pond where the residents can go sit by. They have plenty of patio furniture, with umbrellas. We have no complaints about this community. The activities director is incredible, they have party celebrations for every event, they even had a celebration for making in through to pandemic as well as they did.

The Pointe at Lifesprings is the most vibrant community in town! There’s an energy that stems from the staff and through the residents. I was real impressed with the leadership and the clinical experience they have on staff too. Have heard nothing but great things about their in-house therapist [name removed]! Really have to see and feel it all for yourself!

The community is really great and my loved one really likes it here. The community is clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is not the best but they are open to feedback and are working hard to improve. I would recommend this community to others.

My impressions of Tiffany Court were positive. The people who led the virtual tour were very friendly, nice people, and they did a good job within the virtual context of showing the place and explaining everything. They were thorough and really seemed to be making a strong effort to make it a pleasant experience for me. There are limits on how much I can tell from a virtual tour, but from what I could see, I thought it looked pleasant and home-like. It seemed like a nice, clean, friendly, pretty establishment, the kind of place you would enjoy living at if you needed that type of care.

When our uncle who without children & never-married, had a stroke, my siblings & I needed to find an assisted living facility for him. None of us had experience with researching these types of facilities nor did we know what to look for or what kind of questions to ask. After seeing a handful of establishments, we were felling incredibly discouraged by the cost, poor conditions, and lack of staff support. Thankfully we met with Brookdale Des Plaines. We had an overwhelmingly warm feeling when we walked through the front doors, it was like entering a high-end hotel. Not wanting to get our hopes up, we knew that the facility needed to meet all of our uncle's needs, medically, that staff had to be qualified & supportive and the entire facility had to be CLEAN, free of any foul odors, outdated furnishings or filth. I am very happy to share that all of our expectations have been met & exceeded at Brookdale Des Plaines. I credit the staff for making this facility a home for our uncle.

I liked this place from what I saw. The only downfall was the last room wasn't available by the time my loved one needed it.

We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider. The community was very nice and they were very accommodating to us. They also followed up with and made sure all our questions were answered.

It's a great community. I like that it's not only assisted living but independent living also, which they have mixed all throughout the facility. It's not segregated into separate sections. The staff is wonderful. They get to know you, and they care about the residents and take good care of them. They have activities every day but aren't yet going on outings again. It's just hard to find a place that's not an exorbitant amount of money that's still nice. And Atria Virginia Beach is a very nice place. The rooms are large, and you get a kitchenette, which you don't usually get at other assisted living facilities The bathroom is huge too. I just love the place.

Three years ago, I was looking for a place to live that was near my son in Park Ridge. We looked at several independent living facilities that had assisted living included in case I would ever need it. After visiting several facilities, I came to the conclusion that Brookdale in Des Plaines was the best choice, The residents seemed to be smiling all the time, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I have lived at Brookdale in DesPlaines for three years now, and with the exception of our COVID experience, it’s been fun. I have a one bedroom apartment which is large and cozy. The people are friendly and the staff willing to please. We are just now getting back to our (almost) normal routine. We had our first live entertainment last week and are now eating in the dining room for breakfast and dinner. Our bus service is up and running for medical appointments and to go to grocery stores.

The community is filled with extremely friendly people and their apartments are very nice. We are so happy we made this decision and chose Pinewood Hills. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The food is surprising excellent for a senior living facility. It's a very comfortable place. It's under construction right now, so you wouldn't get the full experience until it completely reopens. But they're renovating it entirely. What they've done so far is beautiful. They just opened the pool area, and they just started opening the activities building where the dining room is. The main lobby is under construction right now, and once it's finished it's going to be beautiful and hopefully very active.

I have lived here over 12 years and I am happy and content. Hope I can live here the rest of my days. I am 98 years old.

[name removed] was very helpful and thoroughly explained this residence, the cost, and gave me a wonderful tour. I was very impressed with the staff and their interactions with the residents. Unfortunately, [name removed] had made plans already. If this residence does not meet his needs and our expectations, we will certainly contact [name remove].

I highly recommend them. It's a solid operation. The director of the memory care unit is fantastic. She's what interested me in the community in the first place, and the reason I've kept my loved one there.
