It's the best place that we know of in Myrtle Beach. The location...being in the center of Myrtle Beach is an asset. Some places for seniors are in much higher traffic areas. It's more affordable than several places. It's bright and lovely.

For the most part everyone has been helpful. My dad told me recently that the food has really stepped up!

My mom was only in a couple of weeks before she passed but they took good care of her. I came and visited her every weekend and the people that worked there were very nice to me and to the people in there.

My mom liked that Discovery Village separates the more progressed residents from the higher functioning residents. Also, the director, [name removed], spent a lot of time with us on our tour. [name removed] is very passionate about elder care and incredibly hands on.

The staff at Brookdale is outstanding! Everyone is wonderful and helpful in every way. The library is extremely important to me, and they have a wonderful, organized library with a large variety of books. I love to read the newspapers in the library every day. The Des Plaines Library is just a block away if I need a particular book. I have physical therapy at Brookdale and the staff is professional, efficient and they know their field very well. I enjoy eating the delicious meals in the dining room.

It's a fantastic facility. My father loved it. The staff are amazing and it felt homey. The staff truly loved and cared for my Dad. They were awesome.

We enjoy it here and staff is wonderful. We picked them because of the location.

I am very happy at Brookdale. I have a very nice apartment with a good view. The meals are delicious and healthy. The residents and staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Brookdale Des Plaines!

We are extremely pleased with Terra Bella Harrisburg. We appreciate their professionalism, the genuine care of and for the residents, the restaurant like dining room, setting, and the variety activities offered daily. Terra Bella Harrisburg Assisted Living is a very upbeat and pleasant place to be.

The staff are very n ice, and [name removed] is the house keeper and he is exceptional. He's a hard worker, very kind and compassionate towards the members. Yes, I would recommend Coastal Heights Senior Living to other families and I do all the time. I truly brag about the facility and staff. [name removed] is wonderful too. Unfortunately, I don't remember another front desk girl's name, she is young with long brown hair, but she is wonderful too!!!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest true welcome! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed. Every detail taken care of, and I could immediately tell that this establishment and staff truly care and treats everyone like they are family. The ambiance was cozy and inviting making it the perfect place. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking. The experience was memorable, comfortable, and peaceful for mom and I.

I love that the community has big hallways and balconies. You can also put up a fence for your dog on the 1st floor. They have a nice walking trail. The cottages are very large and have everything you could need from a garage to kitchen and washer and dryers. The resident are very inviting and made my experience wonderful.

The staff, from the Executive Director, assorted Dept heads, Housekeeping, Maintenance.. they have all been excellent to deal with. Any questions/issues that have arisen are pleasantly and swiftly addressed.

Its been a year since we were there, but we would give the overall experience a 5. Glassford Place was very quaint and well managed, while my mother in law lived there. We moved her because she is too active, and the facility is more restricted.

Can’t say enough about the Palms. The clean and beautiful living arrangements make for a warm and comfortable experience for both the residents and guests. But more importantly, what you will notice after spending some time on property; is the warm and caring staff that make all the difference between the Palms and the other senior assisted living facilities. Exploring The Palms as a place for Dad, I found that from the director of sales to the head of nursing, a knowledge and understanding that made for an easy decision out of what could have been an extremely emotional and difficult one! They have done a great job in taking care of my mom and we would recommend Bell Oaks Place to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

I came to The Conservatory two years ago. I chose it because I liked the looks of the place and how friendly the staff and residents were. If you partake in only a few of the many activities offered you can be kept busy. We have maid service and I can’t say enough good about the service I get. We have movies in our own theater and special guest lectures. Our book club is a great place to discover books and discuss the monthly selection. We get two meals a day and they are great times to meet new people and learn about your neighbors. With all the people here there are many very interesting people and they all have life stories and have had jobs that are very interesting. One of the big social events is the three PM, Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday wine parties in the Safari Lounge each week. There is always something to do if you choose to participate. This is my home and I would not be doing all these things if I was in an apartment or other place without the amenities offered here.

I enjoy living at The Palms, the staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy the activities and have made a few good friends; they are very considerate and easy to talk too My apartment is nice. My family chose The Palms and I'm happy they did!

I moved to The Palms at Bonaventure about a year ago and I love the ability to be social! They provide all different kinds of opportunities to meet people and have fun. I particularly enjoy the weekly happy hour event and all of the big monthly events. The staff is caring and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is fun!
