Dial Retirement Communities

We have had a pleasant experience with Elk Ridge Village. The staff is friendly and they wear first alerts around their neck. Mom has needed had a couple of urgent needs for which those have come in handy, and they are always right there ready to help in any way they can. The food is also very good, though mom does complain at times that there are not more meals included in the plan we have her set up on.

Our tour by Juliana was great. She greeted every resident we saw by name and made a personal comment to most of them! The facility itself could use some updates as far as decor and the rooms are fine, but small kitchens and closets. The assisted living option are great and the number of activities offered daily are fantastic. Seemed like a nice place to live.

It was really nice for a long time. I think they’re having some issues right now, but they’re getting things sorted out. They offer a lot of activities. The main issue we have is the yearly rent increase. Not knowing is worrying. The food is okay.

They do a pretty good job. They are really friendly. They are affordable, there are a lot more expensive places, but there are also less expensive places, this is sort of a middle range. She is having a hard time finding a place to fit in, they do offer some things to do, but it is difficult to join in. The food is ok, but she says that the portions can be a little small. We haven't really run into any concerns.

The facilities at Eve were wonderful. I'm concerned about the transfer from a rehab to the community. They accept the diagnosis from the rehab when the person is admitted, this could lead to something that is not a good fit. We would have liked to have a longer stay here. The food is good, the people were friendly.

Overall this is a very nice community. I really appreciate how good they are at staying in touch with families and keeping them informed of any problems or changes that might arise. The facility itself is always very clean and well kept, and the staff are all very friendly! They've got plenty for the residents to do, and everyone seems happy and entertained.

The care overall is very good. They do an assessment every month. They raised her rates because they said that she asks too many questions about her meds. My brother is upset that they raised her rate without first telling the family, but I think that they just realized that she needs more assistance than they originally thought. Regardless my brother is ready to move her out because of this. I don't think that he will, though because he doesn't have our support. And on the plus side she is only paying for a one bedroom and living in a 2 bedroom because they dind't have a one bedroom available. They have a lot of activities and that is really good for her. The activities director is really good. The food is excellent. She always comments that she has never had the same meal twice, but who knows, she can't remember. We have eaten there several times with her, and we have never had the same meal twice. The place is very clean and the people are very friendly.

That was probably our second choice but they didn't have a wellness center with a workout room and pool. They were friendly and everything but I just didn't like the way it was set up.

From my standpoint, I'm the most distant as far as living far from my mother. It's a nice facility, it's very clean and well kept and relatively new so its a nice palce compared to the apartment she was in before. Other than the meals she's getting nothing specificly care, but she says the on staff nurse has been very helpful with little things that have come up. She's helped her get a walker and things like that so she's been very helpful. It seems very safe and secure and just a good place. There are a lot of friendly people there and shes meeting a lot of new people. I think she's played some cards and they've had a little function for the ladies there, she's quiet by nature but by the same token she's being encouraged to participate and is meeting ncie people.

It is a very nice community on the inside. They offer a lot of activities but they did not have as many options as another community we were looking at. Overall it was a very nice community that we were considering but ended up choosing a different community.

This looked like a wonderful community and everyone was very friendly!

The Director helped me and was great to talk with..might call back about "independent" living available with "extra's" paid for until assisted living available.

I like the photos of how this will look. I think it has a combination of contemporary/retro/Frank LLoyd Wright feel fo it. I also liked the high ceiling option in the 'wings'. I think shey enjoy living with people of higher intellectual ilk. The floor plans offer good options for her and I think she would be able to find one she likes if so minded.

I liked this place.
