My parents are only staying there temporarily, but for the time that they are spending there everything has gone very well. They may need to move to a different place at some point to get special one on one care, but for the time being Woodlands Creek has been great for them. It is a very nice place, the rooms are clean, the layout is nice, the staff is great, etc.

Everyone is friendly & the facility is clean & not overcrowded. It took about a week for our loved one to adjust but she loves it now. It has been good for her because now she has a routine & is making friends. She actually found a neighbor from years ago that she had lost contact with & is catching up on lost years.

So far it's wonderful. It's very well taken care of and the staff is awesome. They really go above and beyond. They have made her quality of life so much better. They have been a lifesaver, I would give them a six!

Everything with Arvada Estates has been excellent. The care staff and maintenance staff and everyone else there are all very helpful. My aunt says that the food is very good as well. It was a very smooth transition to get her set up there. They have really been great.

We are very happy with Elk Ridge. They are excellent across the board. I wouldn't have my loved one anywhere else. They are so much better than the place we were before. I would highly recommend Elk Ridge.

Everyone has been very welcoming; had a couple of minor problems when we first moved in but staff were very responsive and the difficulties were solved with relative ease. The staff have all been great; Mom has been very pleased and seems to be adjusting quickly. She likes the meals and the servers, the housekeeping staff, the activities, the exercise, the transportation. Thanks for your help.

Independence Village Directors and staff are 5 star through-and-through! One can see that they have a culture of respect and caring for each other, as employees, and all their residents. As my parents moved into Independence Village, we came into contact with residents and outside vendors. These contacts shared with us that always see staff and residents with smiles at Independence Village (verse other assisted living facilities they have been in contact.) My parents are so happy there and with their new friends. They look forward to the meals prepared by the chefs too! Independence Village is such a blessing to my parents and my family.

I have to say I am really impressed with Independence Village. The staff is wonderful. They are very caring and go above and beyond. I went on vacation recently and my mom's (who is a resident there) tv remote went out. A staff member just ran out and got her one no questions asked....they knew I was out of town and knew she would worry about it so they just ran and got it. This is just one example. When I visit I see all the residents are treated like family. It is more than I could have asked for. When we moved her there this summer it was a difficult decision and the staff made the move and transition so easy and comfortable. She is the happiest I have seen her in a long time and I am so glad she is there. They have made such a big impact on her life and I am a very grateful daughter.

My mother in law tells us about how the staff is very nice and the food is really good. She really likes it there, though if she could have her way she says (right now) that she would rather go home. It is tough for her to transition, but I think a lot of that is to be expected, and the people there are doing everything they can to help.

While it was a difficult transition to move my mom from Massachusetts to Nebraska at age 89, she has been adjusting well. The staff at Elk Ridge has been very flexible and have provided excellent care for my mom. As they got to know her, they have tailored their service and interaction with her to give her the most support and to keep her active. The facility is beautiful, clean and well organized. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. The whole process from visiting to completing the resident application was easy and Kalli answered all of our numerous questions quickly and courteously! While we are still getting Mom's medications sorted out, this should be finished soon. I can't say enough about Elk Ridge and their staff. I feel very comfortable having my mom as a resident. I visit 3-4 times a week and I have only seen excellent service.

They are doing a great job at The Montclair, it is a very nice place! The staff and the residents both seem friendly and happy, and the place just has a warm friendly feel in general. I liked that when we were doing they had an actual resident of the community show us around and explain things! They are definitely worth a look, if you are looking for options in the area!

So far we are very pleased with Arvada Estates. It's a beautiful facility. It's clean, and the staff is friendly. We are pleased with the food, staffing, activities, everything is good. The only caveat to that is that the company that owns them sold, and the new company took over about a month ago, so far things have been smooth but we will see how that plays out.

My Mom did not take well to the idea of going to a "retirement home". She loves it. She is focussed, happy, organized and vital. One very happy son and extended family. One of our better decisions in life!!

My experience with The Montclair has been great. My loved one is very happy there. The food is great, staff is friendly and caring. I highly recommend it. Overall I'm satisfied with their services.

You can't go wrong w/Independence Village (of Peoria). The help and care they give our elderly family member is just wonderful, caring and we are so happy to have found this. The hardest part was getting our relative there and that was it. The care they provide offers one assurance, and they are always very willing to answer any questions or concerns. We highly recommend it and definitely a good value. Our senior relative is quite happy and feels secure being at this senior care home.

Legacy was the cleanest and brightest community we visited by far. The apartments are the largest in size and seem so spacious. The community looks brand new and the staff seems to know the residents and offer plenty to do each day for those interested. We didn't stay for lunch but dining room was beautiful and everything being served looked appealing. The cost was perfect for us and they allow pets. Definitely worth a tour and worth it to pay a little more for all of the amenities and staff.

This was the one place I went to that was clean, and when I walked in someone said something to me, not just the staff, but the people living there too. Everyone would look you in the eye. They have a lot of staff there, they have a home care agency on site there, so it's not just the Independence Village staff but the home care people too. Communication is really good with the staff, and they have a call button in every apartment, so she can just push the button and ask the front desk a question, if she needs something or is confused, and there is always someone there 24 hours a day. It looks like they have a lot of stuff going on for activities, more than just your typical bingo, and exercise, and they are open to adding new things. She has enjoyed the food so far. I do like that they give them assigned seats, and that they are flexible if personalities don't match, they can assign you a different table. I also like that it's restaraunt style seating, so they don't have to carry a tray, like a cafeteria. If for some reason they can't make it down for a meal, they will bring it to you. I liked the layout, and the big communal area in the middle. It looks a lot like a hotel. It was very open and light. I liked the fact that the residents were all out and about in the common areas. It wasn't depressing when you walked in. The woman I spoke to was so very positive, and made me feel like this would be the right move, other place didn't really seem to care. They have a bus service, that will take you places, four days a week. They allow you to bring pets. You can also stay here up to nursing home level, so you don't have to move and even if you need rehab, they can come to you. The only draw back is the only way to get internet is through DSL, but they are working on getting wi-fi.

This is a wonderful place to live for anyone over 60. Beautiful place to stay.....Clean, fresh, doesn't smell. A few little kinks to work out but all in all the best of any and all facilities that I toured for my mother. Hands down the best in the area.

This is a great community. We were only there one day and my loved one had a sudden stroke and passed away. They were fantastic, and they gave us back every cent, due to the circumstances. The whole week after that happened they were great! I highly recommend them.
