My mom has been a resident in the independent portion of Delmar Garden Villas for the last 2 years. Our experience has been wonderful so far! Staff and residents are very friendly. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. All amenities are wonderful.

Our mom seems happy there. Facility seems nice. No problem to report.

We are very happy to have found the right senior living for our lifelong friend. The building is like no other. It gives a cruise ship feel with two pools, theatre and a 4 lane bowling alley! But what is most revealing, is the dedication the staff provides, geared to the resident's happiness and safety. Dale wishes he had moved here years ago. Other residents are friendly and welcoming. Close relationships are evident @ the 4p happy hour! The building is clean and well cared for, and a bit of a shock as you enter! Its bright cheerful decor is much different than other communities we toured. You definitely should consider Garden Villas for your loved one!

What they could improve on would be the internet connection, however what I like the most about Garden Villas is the friendliness, helpfulness of the staff, ice cream(!), good food, entertainment

The staff had been exceptionally and go the extra mile. It is always clean and friendly. My sister in law has complained a bit about the food but she is also high maintenance. She may appreciate it much more after being in the Delmar rehab for over 2 months. The only obstacle I have had was the break down in utilizing Garden Villa's transportation while in rehab next door. She is still paying [fee removed] a month and needed rides to her doctor and had a problem letting her utilize the van.

Recently several family members (16 of us)had breakfast with my dad and when we arrived a large table was ready for us. The food and service was great. It was a very special family brunch!

Chesterfield Villas has a very friendly staff. When we were looking for assisted living we were told that it looks like a cruise ship, but we weren't prepared for the happy staff. Everyone is all smiles and more than willing to help in any way they can.

We really love it here and are grateful to have found our new home. From the moment we walked in we felt very much at home. Warmth from staff and everyone was welcoming. One other thing I thought of was that having a kitchen, even though we are on a meal plan makes this feel more like a home than living in a hotel which I felt at the other facilities we looked at.

honestly 5 all the way down the list. what we like the most about Garden Villas is the friendliness and quality of care. yes, we would recommend Garden Villas community to other families based on the experience so far!

I can say that Garden villas has been a good place so far. People are caring, place is clean and in laws say food is good. Garden Villas is a welcoming living community. The staff are friendly and care about the people living there. The nurse and her staff take good care of those in need. Very clean place and we are glad we chose this place for our family

I moved in at the end of September. I had recently lost my husband and was very reluctant to move. Everyone have staff and residents wrapped their arms around me. I couldn't be happier. I have gained so many friends 5 stars x2.

Everyone was very pleasant and very nice. My mom did not socialize but the few staff members that she did have interactions with always made her happy.

The staff is attentive. They seem to really care about their residents. My mother is a lot happier than she was at the last place. They paired her up with a person with like personalities for her meals. She made a friend really fast.

Friendly, bright and clean. My mom has a big one bedroom apartment with a great patio! The nurses have been knowledgeable. The housekeepers have done a great job. My mom enjoys the food and the other residents!

The Garden Villas is a very nice facility. Our mom is in the Assisted Living side of the facility. Her room has a small balcony which overlooks the pool and gardens which makes it more inviting and pleasant. The dining room has assigned seating which means she has her meals with the same people each day and helps with the social aspect. The staff are pleasant and friendly and the only complaint one has is the food is average at best. She has been there two months and is comfortable with here decision.

This is a great place to live! I was not sure if I would like living in a community like this, but I decided to give it a try. The people are very friendly here. The residents and staff are as nice as family. You can do lots of activities or relax in your apartment, because it's your choice. I stay up late as I like sleeping in but miss some of the morning activities. That's ok because it's my choice. The food here is very good and something different each night. You can chose off the menue or if you just want a salad or sandwich that's fine ,your choice. I like the very nice apartment I have and someone comes to clean it each week! Everything is included in the rent! I just pay one bill each month. Come for atour and bring the family and see for yourself because it's your choice not someone else's !?

Very clean, staff is very helpful and friendly, food is good. Recreation is appropriate/fun

This seems very luxurious compared with my former life of semi-poverty 25 yrs military, 15 yrs 3 acres in log house 20 yrs postal worker, 2 lots on "raintree" resort. had garden on one lot, car, mower (ride), pickup, motorcycle and excellent ranch house.

Garden Villas is exactly the right fit for elderly parents who need looked after with a kind touch The place is older but apts are clean and absolutely lovely. Both parents say they love this new to them place to live as all the staff are so kind, funny and thoughtful. The people who live there are welcoming to new people moving in. No clicks or unkind neighbors. Nursing staff is attentive and makes sure all are feeling good Dr is wonderful. Lowered fathers meds and now he is feeling great [name removed] and [name removed] do an excellent job running this fabulous home. We are very pleased with all the communication and being updated on our parents
