The Villas have been my home since July 2013 and I truly feel that it is my "home, sweet home". I love the atmosphere, the caring staff, friendly neighbors and all the wonderful activities and amenities. I feel safe and cared about. My family is pleased as well. They are happy with my choice to stay here as long as I can.

We are very pleased with Garden Villas of OFallon. They offer many services and welcome families to visit loved ones there for swimming, bowling, pool, movie theater. If any work order is put in, it is attended to that very day!

The only issue I have with them. The food they serve. I have to watch what I eat. Lunch and dinner where more of a challenge, meaning lots of high sodium foods and not as many salads or vegetables were minimal. The friendliness of the people were great. The business office was great regarding any payment issues I had. They were so nice and so gracious. I met some very nice people there. A few where from my own church there. That was nice. I do miss them after coming home. Other than the food, the care and everything else was excellent. I was able to manage my own medicine during my time there.

My family and I are truly happy and appreciative to Garden Villa North, and the dedicated staff. Staff members such as [name removed] and a host of others that I can't remember their names. However, you have all made a visible difference in my mother's life and for this my family and I ''thank you'' Garden Villa North.

I use to work there and my Grandmother was admitted there for rehab twice for different reasons they did a great job

I've been a resident at Delmar of OP 41/2 years. I was going down the tubes Delmar of OP saved my life. Of course, I worked at it too! The family values is what carries the successful outcomes for residents at Delmar Gardens of OP. They're the best of the best - Thank you Delmar of OP! [name removed]

My Mom is happier now than she has been in years. The Staff are wonderful! She participates in the activities and has many Friends! I love the fact that she has immediate care of she needs it, but is still independent in her own place. I could never say enough nice things about Garden Villas North, it is a wonderful place for your loved one!

The main reason why I chose Delmar Gardens of Smyrna is because the care is included in the price and the care givers are really wonderful. They offered everything we needed and have done an excellent job.

We were extremely happy with the staff, care, activities and overall experience at Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. Would have stayed but cost got too high.

I moved my parents into Delmar Gardens last year after much research and visiting numerous facilities. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff from reception to management. Delmar is bright and clean and offers numerous activities during the day. The dining room is set with linen table cloths and varies their menu monthly. The food is not only nutritious, it is delicious. You can sign up for all three meals or pick which one suits your needs. Compared to other facilities Delmar is a great bargain. The staff made my parents feel at home right away. I had no hesitation renewing their lease.

I visited many retirement centers in St.Louis County but only one was outstanding. I immediately felt like this was home with such a loving staff and the many friendly residents. Activities are abundant covering all interests. This is a gem.

The community is older and the color scheme is a lot (but that is by design). I wish there were more common spaces. Pretty much everything is centered around a large room that they refer to as the auditorium. The apartment size is what sold us. The layout is very well done so that you can easily layout furniture. Although their 2brm is only 782 sq ft, it feels much larger. There is also a lot of natural light. The kitchen is small but with dining the need is minimal. We got off to a bit of a slow start with PT and OT which was a little frustrating. With that said, the staff there is very nice and engaged. The food overall is good and plentiful. I would recommend the community.

My experience has been mixed. The activities seem okay, although I haven’t participated in any yet. The facility is not very large, and while my apartment is small, it is nice. However, I feel there could be more value offered compared with other places. The food has been very good, which is one of the positives. However, I have had difficulties with some services and communication. After touring the facility during winter, it has been challenging to remember where everything is now that it is summer, and I wish there had been more guidance and support getting familiar with the location. I have also had concerns with my medication management and communication with staff. I had a negative experience with a nurse who made me feel judged and did not listen to my concerns about my medications. I believe better communication and attention to residents’ needs are important. Laundry service has also been frustrating. My laundry was supposed to be picked up and returned on Saturdays, but this has been missed several weeks in a row. I was told it would be handled on Monday, but the repeated delays have been disappointing. There are also restrictions on having cleaning supplies in my apartment. I understand there may be safety reasons, but the cleaning provided only happens once a week, and I would prefer to have more control over keeping my own space clean. Overall, there are some good aspects, especially the food and the apartment, but improvements in communication, organization, resident support, and service consistency would make the experience much better.

The assisted living is pretty good, my mom can be difficult, so my expectations fluctuate. I would recommend, it's affordable, and pretty good.

Going great but some hiccups here and there. Positive would be the facility itself. Bright and cheerful. My Mom LOVES her apartment. No other assisted living has a balcony, a full kitchen (including a stove and dishwasher) and a big storage locker for things like seasonal decor, things not used on a daily basis. Although my mom doesn't use it, there is an indoor pool and hot tub! My mom also really appreciates that they have cloth napkins and table cloths at dinner time and they have a great menu to choose from. Positive would be the facility itself. Bright and cheerful. I'd just like to say that taking over caring for my mom has been an ongoing education and would like the nursing staff to know I understand they have a tough job but keep in mind it's also tough from my side too and too keep working with families on educating them on things like state guidelines concerning medication, understanding how to better communicate with our loved ones in the assisted living facility etc.

The staff in independent living is very attentive and steady. They do not turnover staff for that position so they really get to know the residents. They are helpful, kind, patient and courteous.

Very well to date. She moved in mid December and was anxious and agitated and they gave her sedative like Seroquel, too much so she was practically comatose. They reduced dosages and now she is doing well. She is contented now and has been for more than a month. I am comfortable with her being there.

It has sometimes been difficult to communicate with the staff. The friendliness stood out.

The Bus service is great! Lots of activities are available. The Workers are really helpful. The Rooms are well-lit and homey. Also Pets are welcome. Yes, I would recommend Garden Villas South to other families.
