I visited many retirement centers in St.Louis County but only one was outstanding. I immediately felt like this was home with such a loving staff and the many friendly residents. Activities are abundant covering all interests. This is a gem.

The staff in independent living is very attentive and steady. They do not turnover staff for that position so they really get to know the residents. They are helpful, kind, patient and courteous.

Very well to date. She moved in mid December and was anxious and agitated and they gave her sedative like Seroquel, too much so she was practically comatose. They reduced dosages and now she is doing well. She is contented now and has been for more than a month. I am comfortable with her being there.

It has sometimes been difficult to communicate with the staff. The friendliness stood out.

The Bus service is great! Lots of activities are available. The Workers are really helpful. The Rooms are well-lit and homey. Also Pets are welcome. Yes, I would recommend Garden Villas South to other families.

The facility and grounds. are beautiful and the gathering room downstairs with the bowling alley was utilized several times by our family in celebration events for my mom.The staff was easy to work with and responsive when issues arose. The biggest concern which was brought up by many people at mom's table was the food. I would recommend that the facility do a good review of food types and preparation.

The community is filled with caring people. It's not perfect, but they do care and yet their best. The residents are treated as family and they're are lots of fun activities. At times, they do not answer call buttons as quickly as they should, but complaints usually result in changes for the better. My mom is doing so much better here than in her previous facility. She complains, but mostly is about small things that aren't about her care.

The staff is friendly, attentive and provides a good variety of activities. The cleaning staff had lots of turnover. WiFi is weak. The transportation is not easy to use. Better off using Lyft. Apartments are spacious and good value overall. Dad also liked the food

Caring staff, lots of activities, Room sizes are equivalent to other assisted living. Facility layout is good.

I wish the residents could keep meds like asthma inhalers with them instead of having to ask for them every time they needed them. They are having a hard time adjusting.

4.5. The staff are extremely helpful. We did a lot of shopping around in our search for an assisted living facility. [name removed] and [name removed] were top notch and great to work. We are confident in the decision we made for mom.

The staff is always friendly and helpful with anything that ask for and if that can't help in that moment they will find someone that will.

This facility has some really exceptional staff members! It is a comfortable place to live!

They have been very good to work with and my cousin is pleased with the facility. My cousin feels very comfortable in the apartment and I think it's a good size for him. I haven't actually seen it, so I can't be more specific. He has had no complaints about the food, but hasn't given me any specifics.

The facility and staff are very good Food is OK but they seem short staffed and it can take sometime to get your food Disappeared in activities and classes. They are not well attended and not as social as we had hoped for.

The facility is great. It's clean and they have very friendly staff. There are plenty of activities to keep residents busy. It's great there is transportation to stores and appointments. Three also is a wonderful variety to pick from regarding food. I like how bright it's inside. They also have services such as physical therapy and a hair salon. Overall my mom has thrived there and we are happy we picked this place for her. Not to mention the price is great for what you get!

It seems that anyone needing a Hoya lift cannot be in just any assisted living facility. At Delmar Gardens I can hire an "outside" caregiver group to care for my husband.

The activities are great and have a lot of events that include family members as well. The food could be improved, I think they should use less frozen vegetables. Overall I would recommend Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett to others looking.

The staff is very helpful and friendly but occasionally it takes an extended period of time to have repairs done. They could improve on the food by offering a wider variety of meals to the residents.
