I volunteer with actives with the life enrichment director [name removed]. [name removed] goes above and beyond in this role! The residents light up when [name removed] enters the room! They are absolutely so kind and bring so much joy and light to these people with not only the activities they do with them but every daily interaction.

Firstly, in the entrance is a lovely outdoor courtyard with trees, grass, and flowers. It is a peaceful setting for any residents who want to sit outside, or enjoy the view from their rooms. In the hallways Ive seen some nice art, and also colorful drawings posted on doors that residents have done themselves. I like the variety of activities offered, and notice how the residents perk up with new things in their daily routine. One activity offered is the opportunity for residents to visit with therapy dogs. I would bring my therapy dog, and i know many residents looked forward to her visit and enjoyed their time interacting with a loving animal..... I didnt know too many staff, but ones i did know were very friendly and helpful.

The dedicated staff members ensure that each resident receives personalized attention, considering their unique abilities and preferences.

As an entertainer, I am in a unique position to observe the goings on and interaction with the residents, the caregivers, and the facility personal. I find the care givers very nice, the personnel that I deal with are professional and friendly, and the residents are Wonderful. I really enjoy my time at Woodland...Doug O'Brien

I love the environment of woodland palms. The residents are happy and full of life. They are cared for and always have something engaging them. It is a great place! This place is doing things right and I love volunteering!

My mom moved in a few months ago and the experience has been amazing. Today, we joined her for chair Zumba and trivia! This has been a wonderful environment for her. The activities are amazing and [name removed], the activities director, has a wonderful gift of interacting with the residents and brightening each persons day! She goes out of her way to continuously spread joy and kindness to everyone. We thank God for the Grove.

My mom moved into the Grove at Midtown in [date removed], and we could not be more pleased with all the care but especially the daily activities planned for the residents. The three activity directors are kind and energetic, but most importantly they truly create a personal relationship with every resident. My mom is always made to feel special and gets more hugs than I give her! The activities themselves keep the residents busy if they choose to attend, and if residents are a little hesitant, the activity directors do everything to try to remind and urge them to take part. In addition to consistent daily activities such as exercise, bingo, crafts, etc. special occasion activities such as outings, musical guests, and parties are sprinkled throughout each month. They do everything they can to throw the best special occasion parties. Just in May they hosted an all-day Cinco de Mayo celebration and put on a "senior" prom. I couldn't be more pleased with the activities at The Grove.

Our family had an in person tour with Silver Creek Senior Living and we thought the tour experience was great as well as the staff members we met with, they put on a really good presentation.

I like the size of this place. It's smaller so it's very friendly and comfortable. My wife has been here for 2 years and particularly enjoys being in the common area and gets a lot of enjoyment from participating in the daily activities which are very good.

We toured The Grove at Midtown Senior Living when searching for Assisted Living for my loved one. Both our tour and facility were excellent. However, it was pretty pricey.

I have lived at Shorewood for 14 months and never once have I felt any regret at selecting Shorewood. I especially appreciate the effort everyone on the staff makes to know our names and to be friendly. I truly enjoy living here in a caring, comfortable community.

You will never find a better living experience then here at Shorewood. The staff and residents are the friendliest that you will ever come in contact with. The apartments warm and friendly. Ask and you will receive if possible.
