Mom did really well at Morrow Heights . She fit right in and made a lot of friends. We ended up moving away from there though and moved back to Washington state. We now reside in Wenatchee Washington. My mom lives with my sister and we live right next-door so we can share care. She is getting great medical care here and she loves it here. She is around more family members. Down there in southern Oregon at Morrow Heights I was the only family member besides my husband so here she has grandkids, great grandkids and nieces that she gets to see, plus were closer to be able to take her to see her 96-year-old sister.

They have a hard time keeping a cook. Many kid type meals mini corn dogs, fries, chicken nuggets, sandwiches. Soggy over cook veggies. Other times meals good. PA system POOR, can't hear it and due to blindness can't read notices on cards. Doesn't know what events are going on. Talked to them about it, but nothing changed . Better prices than other places, but it's old. Elevator quits, roof leaks (getting fixed). Staff and employees are very nice and have treated my father very well. But I am moving him back home with me. Cheaper to hire help to help me and he will eat better and I can get him more exercise and better food to lose extra weight .

I would recommend The Grove at Midtown. The staff are great and there are plenty of activities. It was easy to move in. We think mom has had excellent care. The staff take physical care but they are also loving and kind as if they are her kids, too. Sometimes she doesn't know they are not family because she is treated that way by the vast majority of of the staff. No one is perfect, but we are very pleased with the choice to put her there. Also I should comment about security. There are a lot of homeless people in that area of Tulsa, but the building and grounds are secure. I have never felt uncomfortable for myself or for her.

I would say that The Grove completely understands the process of memory care and all of the side effects and behaviors that come with this diagnosis. The staff are very helpful. They are knowledgeable and they do a good job of caring for the family member. The move-in process was seamless. The staff at The Grove was helpful and they made our transition easy and comfortable. The food at The Grove probably does need to get stepped up. When my mother was there five years ago, the food was better and that was before the facility was named The Grove. Back the,n the facility was named Brookdale. I would recommend The Grove to any family looking for memory care for their loved one. When the family member needs hospice, the personnel at The Grove are helpful in selecting a provider and the caregivers work well with hospice staff.

I'm happy here and feel safe and cared for. I especially like that it's a smaller facility.

I am happy with moving my mom to Silver Creek. The facility is under new management, so far no changes, the staff has stayed the same. The food is great and the community events are fun and well planned. I am comfortable with the cost as I am so happy with the care she receives.

My loved one was previously a resident at Cedar Ridge Senior Living and everything was great. They were wonderful with her!

The move in was great - families need to be prepared to handle all the moving. Facilities provide dollies, but you move all things yourself. The meals are great. Staff text or called several times when a situation came up that needed attention.

The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Mother complains often about the food. I only hear the complaints (every time we talk). I think management is trying to improve might be the cook or simply seasoning. Or perhaps my mother is just wanting more meals out which is impossible

It has been 2 years since my husband peacefully passed at WYNDEMERE ASSISTED LIVING, after being a resident for four years. I have chosen to submit a review of WYNDEMERE ASSISTED LIVING because, upon reflection, I must express my gratitude for the wonderful care & compassion shown to my husband and me during that time. Of course, at the heart of any care facility is the staff. I’ve had occasion to visit over the past two years. Although Care facilities normally have some staff turnover, I am so happy that familiar faces remain. I would like to give a special shout out to long time, hard working employee [name removed]…who is so multi-talented shown in her roles as Caregiver, Activity Director, and now in charge of keeping the place running as a well-oiled machine as Head of maintenance. Please, if in need of Residential care, consider a tour of WYNDEMERE. Meet [name removed] and also, [name removed], WYNDEMERE’s amazing Housekeeper, who works so diligentally, keeping the home clean and in ship-shape condition

10 stars for all. They made a lousy situation into a positive experience and went above and beyond. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

Recently my mother passed away. Her time at Heatherwood was only 4 months. During her stay her care was exceptional. The staff went over and above in her care. The management were so easy to work with. They made us all feel "at home." Would definitely recommend.

All the staff is very caring. They have had some staff shortages since we've been there but I think that is pretty common nowadays. The staff that is there does their best to give the best care they can. It is expensive but seems to be average cost for that kind of facility. It was the closest to my home so I could visit easier. Also had heard good reviews of it.

My mother is currently a resident at The Grove at Midtown Senior Living and everything has been very good for her so far at this facility. The staff is good and loving. The facility is clean and has a positive feel to it. This facility is also a great value for most middle class families. The cleanliness, friendliness, staff and care services are great. The meals and dining and activities are good.

Weatherly Inn is incredible. When I think of retirement homes I usually think of a slow death and sadness. But there is so much life within the walls of this place. The look, the energy, and the people are above what I think most would expect or hope for. Unfortunately, my grandmother has never been a nice person. (Even she would attest to that statement.) She is more suited to a 3 star home. So we will not be having her join this lovely place.

I would say,it would be a good place for your loved ones.My loved one told me he wanted to stay in Yucipa,the other places I checked out I didn't care for,or were too expensive.

I would just tell others looking that the staff was very friendly and helpful to my mother and all the family during our experience here.

This is a home. They are a family here. The people that work here are the best. I lived here in 2016, moved for 7 months, now I'm back never move again.

We were originally looking for Memory Care, but based on the staff recommendations, we ended up choosing Assisted Living, because Memory Care is not yet a necessity. My loved one has lived there now for several months in Assisted Living, very happily. We are grateful because the Memory Care is a totally different level of care that she is not yet at. The housekeeping is very good. Her room and the whole facility pass the "smell test" on a regular basis. After just a few weeks, we felt like all of the nursing staff knew her and understood her routines. It was also very helpful that they knew us so when we (the family) would go visit, they would often pull us aside and give us an update, so that we would understand things that she didn't remember had occurred. They've been a great asset to our family and we feel like we are a team working towards the same goal of helping her live comfortably. The meals are quite good. It is a very easy process to go eat a meal with her for only five dollars. Where else can you get a decent meal for such a low price? Often we just go sit with her while she eats amongst some of her friends. The dining room is equipped with clean table linens at every meal and you are served by the staff at the facility as if you're in a restaurant. They take great pride in giving quality table service. I should also comment on the Activities Director. She is amazing in knowing every resident's name, always having an upbeat, positive attitude, and has a unique way of enticing residents to be involved in activities, including exercise and craft classes. Our loved one would never have done that on her own, but is now a regular participant in those activities. This gives her a reason to get up every day, get dressed, be clean, and make new friends while being active and keeping an active mind. We will forever be grateful to The Grove for a significantly improved quality of life for our loved one.

Assisted living anywhere is very expensive. This was about what you'd pay anywhere even if it wasn't the quality of Callahan. We were very grateful for the care mom received the short time she was there. It was excellent and we felt lucky there was a space available for mom. I would highly recommend it. And I will never forget how lovely every single person was, right down to engineering, who stopped by to see mom or pay their respects on her passing.
