We would encourage them to place their loved one in American House Wyoming. In 9 weeks time, we feel they have taken care of my Mom on the secure Dementia wing of the third floor very well. We can sleep easy at night. We needed to quickly find a place for mom but wasn't sure where to begin. A Place for Mom did the leg work for us and in less than 48 hours we had checked out the homes which were possible for Moms new residence

My loved one was previously a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Grand Rapids and overall his experience at this facility was good. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and responsive to questions and/or requests. They advertise their meals as farm to table. That is not really what I observed, but they were dealing with quite a variety of tastes and appetites.

What we like the most about the Seaton Chesterfield community is the staff. The staff members are helpful and personable with the other residents. The community itself is also nicely decorated and inviting.

The dining room is great but meals to rooms are always cold, bread hard , vegetables overcooked. Based on the experience we have had so far with this community, we would recommend Commonwealth Senior Living at Salisbury to other families.

My loved one is currently a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at New Baltimore and everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. The staff are great, when they have enough of them. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals, care services and value for cost are good. The staff are great listeners, open to suggestions and try to resolve any issues or concerns as quickly as possible! As for the activities, they have things that most of the residents are able to do going on everyday.

I would recommend it. We picked this community because it's in the best area.

Our loved one would give the meals and dining a 0, they hate the meals that are served. I wish they were better staffed as far as having more people but I think that's a problem with most places. Everyone there is kind, and the place is kept very clean.

They have gone through 3 different chefs, but things are getting better now. General statement - wholesale administration changeover this spring. Have had some difficulty with medication administration. They are rigid rule followers. But, they worked well with me to get things right for my mother. Overall she is happy there.

It's a very friendly atmosphere. some residents look out for each other..and they care and miss them when they are not there. ( gone shopping drs. apptmnts, visits w/ family)Our front desk ladies are always kind and helpful, on the phone or in person!! Birthdays are celebrated..as well as just everyday routines.

My loved one was previously a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Abingdon. The staff were friendly and did seem to care about the residents on a personal level, but they weren't all medically trained. The Activities Director was awesome. The food was very good. The cleanliness was okay, but could be improved. The price of this facility was high and the doctors seemed to order tests that weren't needed.

The quality of care is good, but staff number is low for the level of care needed and the number of residents there. There is too much frozen and/or processed foods served to the residents. Activities are very unorganized and the activities do not follow the monthly schedule given. Much was promised at the interview, but not followed through ... you have to be a consistent advocate for your loved one and always follow through because they do not reach out until you ask ... I would tell others looking to maybe talk to some of the residents themselves or family members of residents and ask how they like the facility? Ask about the points that the director/sales person are claiming will provided?

It just felt right. The little balcony in my apt is perfect for my outdoor plants and it's a nice size apartment. It's good for the most part. My apt is the big thing for me, and making lots of new friends!! A Place for Mom was a huge help -- making appointments for me! I visited 9 places in all which was a most interesting exercise.

Our family had an in person tour with Commonwealth Senior Living and overall it was a good tour experience, the community was nice, small and convenient but didn't have any openings at the time.

What our family likes the most about the American House Wyoming is the quality of care our loved one has been receiving from the staff as well as the different activities they have going on for the residents there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

The staff at Commonwealth Senior Living at the Ballentine really care about the residents and they do a great job of taking care of them. The room sizes and amenities offered to residents are okay. I would overall recommend this community to others looking. It is a great place to live.

My loved one was a resident at American House Wyoming. Her experience at this facility was good overall. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The staff, care services, and food were okay. The value for cost was great! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My loved one is happy here and they are accessible to her needs. There is a separate PT/OT pair of professionals that are excellent and have been there the whole time we have been there. They are excellent. . Although there has been a very large turnover this year (only 2 LPNs remain and none of the major administrators remain we still feel it is the best fit. It is the best price around with very good overall ratings. The facility is newly renovated and updated. We recommend especially for seniors with some mobility issues. They will fit right in. A person with very little infirmity May feel a bit out of place. But puzzles and games (Bingo white board general games- scrabble- hang man - etc) in the living room are daily. They enjoy a happy hour every couple of weeks. And folks come in to sing with harp, or guitar, or piano or gospel singers. Even a bi monthly Rosary Group come. I really like that they give my mom a choice to use their pharmacy or that I can supply my own meds for her and they deliver them using the latest computer medicine delivery model to assure orders are correct. Only lacking is administration communication. It was better last year before all the changes. But my mother's personal needs were met and effectively dealt with easily.

We picked this community, because we could afford the monthly rent and they had a sale going on at the time where we didn't need to put a one-month deposit down. Overall it was a really good place. The building, staff, food and location were good. I wish the staff had worked a little more to encourage my mother to participate in the activities and services.

Our family had an in person tour with Seaton Chesterfield and we thought the tour experience and the community was nice, but our loved one liked smaller buildings with a more intimate setting like [community name removed].

We chose American House Wyoming because of the amenities provided for the residents, the facility was close to family, and the staff. The staff members here are very friendly and supportive of all of their residents.
