I am really impressed with the way that they take care of the residents and I would recommend this community.

It has been a very positive experience. The staff seems to be fairly cheerful, and they interact well with the residents. My friend says the food is really good. It's a clean facility. The only issue is sometimes getting feedback and answers to questions can be difficult. You just have to find the right person to get an answer. But overall we're very satisfied with the care. She's happy and safe, and gets the attention and care that she needs, which is the important part. She would rather be at home, but since that's not doable, this is a good alternative.

Depending on your financial circumstances, I would recommend depending on what your family member or loved one needed. This is a better environment for my loved one. The food is inconsistent. The weekdays seem fine but during the weekends she said the choices aren't great. Breakfast is fine, she is not a fan of lunch and dinner. Food seems to be the biggest issue. They offer a lot of activities including bingo and activity room games like bingo as well as trips they take. They do have a happy hour. People come in a play music and she does enjoy the music. We did have a rent increase within the first 3 months, hopefully that is a one time thing. The cost was one of the top reasons we picked this place. She is happy for most part and that's what matters.

They are short staffed. The people that I do see there are very caring. My loved one loves the food but up until recently it has declined. They try very hard to keep the activities going. The place is clean. There is room for improvement. We like the smaller size and the one level because it's easier for my loved one around. The therapy staff alone is 5/5 stars!

I think they're a very caring community. They have good activities for the memory care unit. They are slightly understaffed, but I don't think that's unique to this organization over any other one. There are just so many demands from the people in memory care, it's difficult to get to all of them right away when they need to. But I think it's a good value for the services they provide. They were also very helpful in working with us to get hospice involved when we needed it.

Pricey

My Mother had spent a lot of time at this facility, and she passed on to Heaven here, Mom seemed to like it, and enjoyed her time there, I have several pictures of her at the facility, Celebrating her Birthday, Christmases and other Holidays, and she Always had a Big Smile on her face, and enjoyed her time there, I appreciate the faculty in making my Moms experience a happy and joyous one, I'm sure everyone remembers [name removed] and [date removed] Thank you sooo much.

We have had a good experience with American House Wyoming. The room sizes here are very spacious compared to others that we were looking into. The facility's location is very close to other medical buildings and is also right next to a hospital which is convenient if needed. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.

Not only has the friendliness of the staff members impressed us, but even on the tour the residents were coming up to us, and was telling us how well they are being taken care of and just how much they enjoy it here. That was very impressive.

Nice community didn't feel like the right fit.

Our tour at Commonwealth Senior Living of Hampton was really good. The folks we talked to were very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave off a more friendly, laid back, fun vibe than another place we looked at.

We were highly impressed with this community when we came to tour it, and we do know they are doing an excellent job with the activities. However we do know they are understaffed so the nursing isn't up to par or where we want it to be. There may be a reason for this but the memory care side does not get as good as food that we see on the assisted living side.

Commonwealth's location was very convenient for me. But the facility was a little more dated. The cabinetry was dated, and the bathrooms didn't have good shower access.

The tour was great, they were undergoing some construction while we were there. The facility and staff were all very friendly and helpful, but the location was too far away.

From what I have experienced this is a good place for your loved one. They are very caring and they know everyone by name in this community. There is plenty of food and activities for the residents to do.

We chose Commonwealth because they were the best that we were able to find in the area and they are also a veteran oriented facility. I do think it is a good facility, but unfortunately dad was not here long enough to get acclimated.

I enjoy the people and my private room.

Commonwealth at the Ballentine was an older place, and smaller. So we didn't really consider them.

The receptionist was really friendly when we first came to look at the community, the other staff members who work there seem really friendly as well. The apartment that our loved one lives in is very nice clean and up to date. The value for cost is pretty good as well.

This is a good community in an older building. They have an app that allows you to see what your loved one did during the day.
