Nice clean place, my friend [name removed] lived here for a couple years. Close to our church and easy meeting place for coffee and donuts after with our families. Staff has always been polite and helpful.

My grandpa has lived here for almost a year, nice apartment and close to our family's home. He has lunch everyday with the other residents and seems to enjoy the company.

Staff was very caring. They had great activities. My sister ended up needing Hospice care which went very smoothly. Even when she passed away I couldn't have asked for better care for her and myself.

The most heartfelt thanks to each one of you that looks after my grandma. She can be a handful i know this first hand, but shes all i have left and you have earned my utmost respect. I have seen her smile more in her month here than in the last year, you guys are amazing!!! Thank you for giving me a peace of [removed]

My Mom has been at Elmcroft for 4+ years. She loves the staff, facility, and activities! When she first moved to Elmcroft, her husband had recently passed, and she had been in the hospital for 21 days - I never thought she would recover as she did! The love and care she was given at Elmcroft helped her get back in the game! She now enjoys every activity, 7 days a week, especially the musical entertainment that is routinely scheduled at Elmcroft. Because the Elmcroft staff tends to her daily needs, I am free at my visits to focus on just enjoying my time with Mom. The staff are all exceptional - and happy. It is a real blessing to see smiling faces at work taking care of your loved one! The facility is well run, as the Director Luann sets the tone for positivity, cleanliness, and fun! Thank you Elmcroft staff - you guys are all a God send!

Plush living without the plush pricing! Plush living includes a friendly and professional staff who are more than willing to accommodate the needs of my Mom! They truly take the time to make sure Mom is comfortable and has what she needs. They have something enjoyable for Mom to be involved in EVERYDAY throughout the day. Mom has lived alone for over 20 yrs and likes this much better because there is always something going on for her to either participate or watch. The outings to the library and local museums have been her favorite! During my "interview process" at Elmcroft, they made sure that not only would my Mom be a good fit but if she would be a good fit for them! They cared about her wants/needs and wanted to make sure that they would be able to offer everything she wanted/needed. I was impressed by the tenure of the staff from the Executive Director to the kitchen staff. This was stability that was very important to me when I was looking for a comfortable place for Mom. The food is good! The variety is good! They have allowed my Mom to be herself and to have FUN! We visit as often as we can and her great grandchildren like to visit their GG and the kids are welcomed there as well. I feel as though the pricing was more than fair for her room size and the services included. The most important thing is that my Mom is extremely happy with her residence. She's been there now for 4 1/2 months and this has been one of the best decision we have made for her. THANK YOU Elmcrot of Chesterfield for your hospitality and taking care of my Mom. Truly is the BEST Assisted Living Facility in the Richmond area.

Both of my parents are at Elmcroft; with my father being in memory care. They look out for daddy and call me with any concerns. He is very content being there and they adore him. With my mom, she has been made ambassador for the floor and greets everyone with warm welcomes. She and my dad have been married for 64 years and they always include them together with activities and even had a very nice anniversary dinner for them. The staff at Elmcroft are the best; so friendly, compassionate, and so loving with everyone. I could not ask for a better place for my parents; they have been at Elmcroft for almost two years. I have been to other places and those places don't even compare to what Elmcroft offers!!! Very clean!

I am so thankful someone recommended Golden Orchards as a place for mom while I was on vacation. After her third stay she decided she wanted to live there permanently. Golden Orchards is such a warm friendly place, I feel completely at ease with leaving my mom in their care.

My mom is very happy at Golden Orchards and talks this place up a lot. I think it's nice in here, well kept inside and out. Very happy my mom I here verses other places. The staff is very nice and friendly.

This place has always been so very welcoming, CLEAN with excellent staff. We have our brother at Golden Orchards for over a year now. We feel very comfortable knowing he is well taken care of. P.S. Family dinners are wonderful!

We moved our parents into Commonwealth Senior Living a few months ago and are so pleased with the friendly staff, their dinning choices and the spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom independent living apartment. They have activities every day to choose from if they want or they can do things on their own. They have the security of help close by if they need it. This gives us peace of mind to know they are in a safe place and taken care of while we are not there. They love their independence, the wonderfully prepared meals and the new friends they have made. The staff is super friendly and the maintenance staff responds quickly when anything arises. Thanks to A Place For Mom for helping us find this place ??

We toured the Memory Care in building 7 a few months ago and came back with my brother to tour this week and was pleasantly surprised to see the renovations have continued. Our mom will be very happy here.

My grandfather has been living here for a few months now, we needed to move him back from Florida after he had a bad fall and ended up in rehab for 3 weeks. He was not very happy about the change, but seems to be adjusting really nicely and has made friends. Sounds like his favorite part is the food and the bus trips. We visited with him last week for an old car show they had, everyone in the family enjoyed it!

Overall very good place to live, a little too much chicken is served. The workers are very good

I came in and toured this facility, it was fantastic. Lots to offer and I think my dad will be truly happy here!!!!!

[Name removed]was extremely helpful. This is a beautiful facility. It seems there are many great activities planned for all levels of care. I didn't get the chance to see interaction with the staff except for a little bit with [name removed], but it was early on a Sat. morning. I can picture my loved one in this facility should she need it.

Golden Orchards is an exceptional assisted living facility. Administrator has hired a loving and caring staff who take time to individually get to know each patient on a personal level. I spend a lot of time here visiting my 93 year old mother, and have observed the nursing staff give each patient love and care. The rooms are cleaned daily and the buildings are beautifully maintained. Last, but not least, the chef. Chef takes great pride in the meals they serve. The food is amazing in taste and quality. I feel very comfortable with everyone here. My mom needs 24 hour care and the staff notifies me by phone of any concerns or changes in her well being. This place is great!

We loved this place. The people, [name removed] who showed us around, the atmosphere, all the amenities. Love that the residents have meetings to decide what they want to do and the community does it! Next step is to bring Dad to see the place.
