This facility has been around forever and provides great care.

Myself and my family are VERY pleased with Golden Orchards. Harold receives excellent care and the entire staff is very professional and attentive. The building is clean and tidy and the rooms are more than adequate. We are very thankful to have this facility in our community.

I personally enjoy this community. You make residents and families feel welcomed and loved and part of one family.

Beautiful campus with great staff. The tech in my moms building always communicates with our family on how she is doing. We try to stop in twice a week and take her for dinner a couple times a month.

Wonderful community, my husbands father lives in the memory care and we enjoy the staff and other residents.

[Name removed] provided a very welcoming atmosphere here. She seemed to know names of all the many residents we saw along our tour. I liked the smaller overall size of the community though it still offers plenty of attractive amenities. We looked at a two bedroom independent living unit and a studio assisted living unit. Both were well-appointed and the independent living unit had a very functional layout.

We really appreciate the loving care you and your staff provide on mom and other residents. We are blessed knowing she is in good hands.

We toured this campus for my grandmother a few months back for memory care. We saw building 7 and as a family came to an agreement it would be the best fit personally wise and financially. The nurse met with us while on the tour and was able to do the assessment the next day at her house. She was able to move in within the week and was put on homecare for additional support.

Nice clean place, my friend [name removed] lived here for a couple years. Close to our church and easy meeting place for coffee and donuts after with our families. Staff has always been polite and helpful.

My grandpa has lived here for almost a year, nice apartment and close to our family's home. He has lunch everyday with the other residents and seems to enjoy the company.

Staff was very caring. They had great activities. My sister ended up needing Hospice care which went very smoothly. Even when she passed away I couldn't have asked for better care for her and myself.

The most heartfelt thanks to each one of you that looks after my grandma. She can be a handful i know this first hand, but shes all i have left and you have earned my utmost respect. My Mom has been at Elmcroft for 4+ years. She loves the staff, facility, and activities! When she first moved to Elmcroft, her husband had recently passed, and she had been in the hospital for 21 days - I never thought she would recover as she did! The love and care she was given at Elmcroft helped her get back in the game! She now enjoys every activity, 7 days a week, especially the musical entertainment that is routinely scheduled at Elmcroft. Because the Elmcroft staff tends to her daily needs, I am free at my visits to focus on just enjoying my time with Mom. The staff are all exceptional - and happy. It is a real blessing to see smiling faces at work taking care of your loved one! The facility is well run, as the Director Luann sets the tone for positivity, cleanliness, and fun! Thank you Elmcroft staff - you guys are all a God send!

Plush living without the plush pricing! Plush living includes a friendly and professional staff who are more than willing to accommodate the needs of my Mom! They truly take the time to make sure Mom is comfortable and has what she needs. They have something enjoyable for Mom to be involved in EVERYDAY throughout the day. Mom has lived alone for over 20 yrs and likes this much better because there is always something going on for her to either participate or watch. The outings to the library and local museums have been her favorite! During my "interview process" at Elmcroft, they made sure that not only would my Mom be a good fit but if she would be a good fit for them! They cared about her wants/needs and wanted to make sure that they would be able to offer everything she wanted/needed. I was impressed by the tenure of the staff from the Executive Director to the kitchen staff. This was stability that was very important to me when I was looking for a comfortable place for Mom. The food is good! The variety is good! They have allowed my Mom to be herself and to have FUN! We visit as often as we can and her great grandchildren like to visit their GG and the kids are welcomed there as well. I feel as though the pricing was more than fair for her room size and the services included. The most important thing is that my Mom is extremely happy with her residence. She's been there now for 4 1/2 months and this has been one of the best decision we have made for her. THANK YOU Elmcrot of Chesterfield for your hospitality and taking care of my Mom. Truly is the BEST Assisted Living Facility in the Richmond area.

Both of my parents are at Elmcroft; with my father being in memory care. They look out for daddy and call me with any concerns. He is very content being there and they adore him. With my mom, she has been made ambassador for the floor and greets everyone with warm welcomes. She and my dad have been married for 64 years and they always include them together with activities and even had a very nice anniversary dinner for them. The staff at Elmcroft are the best; so friendly, compassionate, and so loving with everyone. I could not ask for a better place for my parents; they have been at Elmcroft for almost two years. I have been to other places and those places don't even compare to what Elmcroft offers!!! Very clean!

I am so thankful someone recommended Golden Orchards as a place for mom while I was on vacation. After her third stay she decided she wanted to live there permanently. Golden Orchards is such a warm friendly place, I feel completely at ease with leaving my mom in their care.
