We toured Commonwealth senior living and it was a very nice facility. The reason we did not go with them was just because they did not have the unit that we were wanting available at the time.
It was a difficult time, but I had a very good experience with the person who helped me get into the facility. And then the person who ran the facility was beyond great to me and my brother. He helped us considerably with our situation. I was pleased with the overall experience with the help I needed at the time living out of state. They went beyond what they needed to do and were very helpful. With Covid going on as well, it was horrible times, but Commonwealth was awesome. Cleanliness was good, and they had a great staff They provided good care. They were doing really well and trying the best they could in that situation. The food seemed ample, social distancing was enforced in the dining room, and everyone looked happy. I was happy to see that they were still offering activities even during Covid.

We chose The Devonshire because I really liked the atmosphere. The room sizes here are perfect for what my loved one needs. The facility is very secure and I would recommend to others who are looking. I would absolutely love to live here myself.

A lot has changed due to covid, but they are doing a great job given the circumstances. The staff members are very attentive, they are always there to help and encourage the residents to ask for help when needed. They do not want them to struggle for asking for help. The staff are wonderful, we could not ask for a better experience. Our loved there is absolutely thriving.

We chose Commonwealth Senior Living because I thought it was a really good size, we looked at some bigger facilities and this one seemed like a much nicer scale where she could get to know people better. I figured the staff members got to know residents better that way as well. It is a very unusual year and my mom moved in right before covid hit, so it is hard to asses some of the programs but I know that they have them available so we are looking forward to that. I think they did a tremendous job keeping residents safe during covid and they made smart decisions and were great with communication. I would recommend to others looking.

All I have been able to do is window visits since I am not able to go inside the facility due to lock down. I have had really good interactions with the director and head nurse and they are some of the sweetest people I have ever dealt with. They have really bent over backwards for me and if I have any issues or concerns they are on it. As far as I know, my mom and dad are in a good place and happy so I have nothing but good things to say about Elmcroft and I would absolutely recommend them.
