Within a week of my husband being there he looked healthier than he had in a long time. Housekeeping was good, it was always clean. Communication with the family was ok. As far as activities, he was in memory care so that's more challenging. But they did well and gave them activities with a purpose. I really liked that rather than general activities. I like that they allowed them to be outside and they checked on them and made sure they had water, etc. When I visited, I always noticed resident on the other levels of care seemed happy. I ended up having to move my husband to a different facility due to care needs, but the facility still calls me to check in on him from time to time. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

While our loved ones were at Commonwealth Senior Living our experience was amazing, the staff took such great care of them. The staff were so wonderful, caring and treated our father like a king. When we first walked in to take the tour with [name removed] the first thing we noticed was how clean it was. There were no odors at all. We had absolutely no complaints and we would recommend them to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was very very nice. They had some really good value points, the people we met with were very impressive and lovely.

I toured The Saybrook; it's a very nice facility and I was very impressed. We put a deposit down on a very nice 2 bedroom place that we were ready to act on, but my mom passed away so it changed some things. It would have been further away than what would have been convenient for us. The community we chose has been a real sweet spot in regards to distance and location.

The reason why we chose Commonwealth Senior Living was because the community itself is very light, bright and clean. The staff members have been great. A few times when we have been there during the meals it seems to be pretty good. On the memory care side the activities are somewhat limited but based on our overall experience with Commonwealth we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

Having toured many places prior to Addington Place-this is by far the best. [name removed] is my husband's daytime care giver. She treats him like family. He always looks great and happy. Makes this journey easier. Don't ever leave, [name removed]

I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community provides housekeeping for each resident's room every two weeks. They try to keep the outside up to the best of their ability. The rooms are larger and higher ceilings than other communities that I have seen. The community has good protocols to tries and protect the residents from COVID. The dining room is lovely, and the community has a continental breakfast, and then there is a menu the community provides for the residents to order a week in advance for other meals. The community is great at trying to accommodate all the resident's requests. It would be nice to see new choices on the menu once in a while. There is a bus for transportation for different activities in the community. There is a sign up to go to shopping centers, and this is nice for the residents that don't want to drive. They will take the residents to doctor appointments on Tuesday and Thursday.

When I walk in the door all of the staff know me by name - they are all very sweet and friendly and open to talk. The facility is very pretty and always very clean and rooms are super nice. They are always doing something. They do trips twice a week, entertainment comes in, painting, games, etc. They have a family night once a month where you are able to come in and eat with your loved ones and it is a 2 hour event, they are a family-oriented facility. They have an area on each floor where residents are able to mingle and talk with other residents. There is also a patio outside where they can go sit. My cousin really loves participating in all of the activities that they have provided. The value is definitely there especially because of all of the activities, the meals, and the way they treat the residents. Overall it has been a positive experience.

The staff have been very friendly. And they communicate well with us. The apartment is great. Mom was fortunate enough to get one of the larger ones, so it's a nice size, with a large bathroom and two closets. She has enjoyed socializing and playing cards and games with the other residents.

We chose Commonwealth at Radford because I liked that the facility is all on one level. They also had more information up front in the beginning and we really appreciated that. When I went in to sign the papers they had different staff lined up to talk to me about things, they were amazing. The activities director does a great job especially and they take the residents on field trips. They also have entertainment that comes in as well. We are on the smile app and the staff can upload pictures and also it shows what activities that he has and has not done. They are able to update us on any important information about the facility too. I have highly recommended them to others in my community already. Our whole family has been very pleased with our experience so far.

The Devonshire is a nice place. The people are nice and they've been really good to me. I have a bedroom/living room, a full bathroom & full kitchen. They allow pets here too. They have activities, like bingo and things like that. For the people who like that sort of thing, it's really nice. They also offer transportation about 2-3 times a month to appointments & stores.

We went with Commonwealth because I thought it was centrally located and it seemed to be a place where everyone was enjoying themselves. Our apartment is beautiful. It is about 1624 square feet. The washer and dryer are inside of the units which is nice. The staff here is very good and the maintenance people are wonderful. I really like the facility and would recommend them to others.

Everybody is kind and friendly from the staff to the residents. Everyone is willing to help you. There is always something to do here. The meals and activities are good. There is a fitness center, exercise classes, yoga, movie and popcorn, ice cream socials, monthly country celebrations, bingo, and more for the residents to participate in. There is transportation to the local grocery stores. You are able to walk on the property outside. They also have church services on Sunday, and bereavement groups. There are breakfast and dinner meals served in the dining hall each day. The apartment has a full kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit.

This was our second choice for a community and our loved one is actually now moving to this community. My loved one needed more care and attention and this community was able to offer what all we needed.

This community was too far away for where I wanted my loved one to be and was not the right environment that I was looking for. The tour guide was really nice the community was just too far away for what we needed.

Commonwealth Senior Living community has been great so far, the community is very clean and well kept. We are liking everything so far with the staff and their care services. According to our loved one the meals sometimes are not the best. The activities are great, we love everything they have to offer our loved one and the value for the money is wonderful.

We chose Commonwealth because we were able to bring our own private caregivers in. When we were going in they were going through a management transition, so we were in a state of flux. Things took a little longer to do and things like that. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

The staff members were very friendly, and when it came to the meals and dining service our loved one had no complaints. We stayed for some activities which were all enjoyable. The value for the money was good and we would recommend this community to others and would go back there again if need be.

This is a clean community with friendly staff. There were some response time issues that we dealt with like with laundry and other things with my father. It has been addressed and we feel safe with my loved one here. They have activities like bingo, art, trips outside the community, happy hour, ethnic celebrations, movies, singing, church services and more for the residents to do.
