The Staff was wonderful to the point that my mom considered them as family. The facility is beautiful and very clean. My family couldn’t have been happier with the care she received while she was there. Special Thanks to [name removed] the Administrator who was always there when we needed her most!

It has been going great. The atmosphere is doing well for Mom. Suggested Medication changes has done wonders. I would recommend Reed City Fields in a heartbeat. It has been the best thing for Mom

I was very impressed with the amount of different entertainment and activities there were. It wasn’t a long stay but my father really liked his room. I can’t sing enough praises for [name removed] and how wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable she was.

We are grateful to the many aids, nurses, cooks, residents who are making our mother's stay pleasant and well cared. They take time to joke with her and have a conversation about her interests. High honors to all the staff.

The staff here are all wonderful. They truly care about the residents. The meals are very satisfying. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a family oriented place to bring their loved ones to.

The staff care about the residents. The residents look after each other. The night supervisor is amazing! The activities engage the residents, even the ones that say they want to stay in their room. Good communication with families about special events. Any concern I may have had had been resolved.

From the first phone call, to the move-in, through the past three months of my sister living at August Haus, the entire staff has been extremely helpful and supportive and thorough and inclusive. Could not have picked a better place for my sister! Thank you so much to everyone involved in the entire process.

I would say that I felt bad leaving my brother in law alone there, but they took such good care of him right away, he really took to them. If it's possible, I think he's thriving. I'd tell them they made a good choice if they are going to take their loved one there.

My brother plays bingo and loves it which he would never do at the other place he was in his room is cleaned every day and he can be messy he is happy there the staff at the other place had a hard time getting him in the shower now he take them with no problem he likes to eat dinner in his room and watch tv they allow him to do so

Reed City Fields gives you such a warm welcome the moment you walk in the door. My grandmother recently moved into this facility and she has had nothing but great things to share with our family. From the activities they have daily to the menu of meals everything is amazing. We are blessed to have our Grandma so well taken care of.

My Aunt just moved into The Fields and it’s the happiest she’s ever been! The meals are home cooked fresh meals - the staff are always smiling and willing to help and the residents are all so pleasant and happy! This move was a long time coming but definitely one I wish I would have made sooner!!

Reed City Fields had a reputation when they first opened and it would have been hard to place a loved one in the building. Now that new management is there it has been a wonderful building where everyone feels welcome. The atmosphere is lighter and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It seems like everyone I meet loves their job at Reed City Fields.

Friendly and try to help you with what ever is needed- they are working hard to make my dad as comfortable as possible.

This is hands down the best place in Mt Pleasant for a loved one to be! They take great care of my mother in law! Since moving in we have seen her join in activities and make new friends. She loves that her room has everything she needs in it. The staff are kind and attentive. We have even noticed Mom has gained weight since moving in and is sleeping through the night with no issues! Thank you for giving her the best care!

The staff is great. They are very kind, friendly and patient with my mom. The facility is very nice and clean. They have activities for the residents to do. My mom really likes playing bingo and working on puzzles. My mom has made friends with some of the other residents, which has helped her to settle in and be more comfortable there. I would highly recommend the Fields to anyone.

They have a new administrator and he is doing wonders. We are very pleased. Our 100 year old mother has been happy here over the last year and a half, is healthier than when she arrived, has formed close meaningful friendships, and has a spacious apartment. The facility smells very clean, is tidy and well-maintained, with kind caregivers and responsive administration to her concerns and needs. Plus it is close to our home and reasonably priced. The parent company has worked very hard to improve in areas of staffing, food, and accountability and as a result we feel that it gets better and better. Administration is always available and responsive to all concerns. They truly care.

The staff are so nice and friendly! Very caring and take great care of my uncle! They are always smiling and take such good care of my auntie [name removed]! She enjoys BINGO and their BBQ days! She likes her room just wants a better view! I would recommend this building to anyone in the Mt Pleasant area!

The staff are very attentive kind and caring. The facility is very clean and family oriented. They are always throwing parties and have a lot of entertainment to keep the residents active. The food is so good. They actually made my mother-in-law gain weight which was a good thing.

My wife has been a resident here since November of 2022. When she first came here she was more or less a non alert or speaking person unable to do anything for herself. Today because of the care and loving affection from the caregiver’s here she is alert talking with the ladies and more active then we could have hoped for. She has no leg strength but with the help from staff she is able to move from bed to couch and get dressed everyday. The people who are caregivers here take a very much appreciated interest in every residents health and well being. They keep me informed of anything that is out of normal with her. [name removed] was diagnosed with Alzheimer and has memory problems because of it. We both appreciate the staff who work there every day

I would love to say thank you for all the work, our loved one loves it there. Based on the experience our family has had so far, we would definitely recommend the August Haus to other families who made need them for their loved ones
