Colonial Oaks Senior Living

We really liked this community a lot. It is a brand new facility it's decorated very nice nothing out of place extremely clean. The director is very personable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I liked the options that were given however what I did not like was the pricing structure it was based on the tiering system. The staff does their own evaluation of the resident's needs and the staff bases what tier they fall into with no input from the family.

This was one of the community's that I was considering for my husband, and his needs. Our tour went very well. Everyone was kind, and friendly. Our questions were answered. Unfortunately they require him to be able to stand on his own, and he can not do that. So this wasn't the right fit for us, but it is a nice community overall.

My loved one hasn't been there very long, so there are a lot of things I'm still learning. They offer a lot of activities. Everyone on the staff is familiar with the residents and very compassionate. We are both definitely still adjusting. We chose this community because we visited it about a year ago, along with several others. We liked the activities they provide and how compassionate the staff seems.

This is a nice place and the people we met during our tour were friendly. This community is for memory care only and mom did not need as much assistance as this community offers.

This was a nice community when we visited. The people we met during our tour were nice. This community does accept medicaid. The community seemed clean and they do offer daily activities.

My loved one is very well taken care of in this community. The staff is welcoming and the place is always very clean. I had a chance to try the meals and they were pretty bland but in good portions. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to keep busy and interact. The room my loved one is in is superior. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend, we are happy with our decision.

They are genuine and just showed the facility and how it worked, not try to sell us something. They help my mom with 3 meals a day, getting around, and with medication. It is very nice and she has improved. In 3 months she is now showering herself and using her walker. They have large hallways which makes it very easy to get through, it makes a big difference. Mom generally she finds the meals okay and able to get another options if needed. For the price it was our best option and it seemed to be a little better staffed than the other facilities on the weekend.

My tour of this community was a nice one. This is a lovely community with many things to offer. From what I saw everything appeared to be nice and clean. They are great resources available at this community. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was a good experience, this is a nice community.

The community was wonderful and so was the staff at Autumn Leaves of Rockwall. The director of the community made sure to answer all of my questions. The grounds look nice and very well kept.

Everything seems to be going well since moving my mother to The Village at Alameda. She is adjusting well, developing a routine and making friends. The community is very well managed and the staff is friendly and happy. I feel that if the staff is happy and satisfied then it makes for a much more pleasant environment. There are many available activities to engage the residents and so far our family is very pleased with our choice.

Great place!

I think they've done a great job so far at Autumn Leaves of Arlington. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and I was very impressed by how helpful and professional the director and the sales guy were during the sign up process. And now that we've moved our loved one in the nurse and aide staff seem to do a great job working with the residents.

We toured this community when we were looking into senior living options for a loved one. This was a nice looking community, and everyone we spoke with seemed friendly. However, it wasn't quite the level of care that our loved one needed. She also would not have been able to bring her little dog, which was one of our main requirements.

The food would be a five, I would say. I feel like they may not have had enough staff at night. We didn't have an issue but it was something I worried about. Sometimes when he would call to go to the bathroom it would take a little while for them to respond. The two ladies that came to evaluate him, were just very nice and attentive, and made me feel like he was going to be in a good place.

Very nice, affordable, clean, good location. Residents seem happy and very interactive. Only concern is her safety as there seems to be no way to ensure that she will not wander off outside.

Director fairly new to the facility. New management is bringing in very positive changes. Very pleasant lanai and patio areas. Some residences have a little patio. Had a super lunch with one of the best salad bars I have ever seen at an institution of any type. Place cards in the dining area so that the staff can make sure residents are eating. Did not particularly like the settin outside of the grounds. Kind of industrial. Kitchen and closets were small. Closet in bathroom had no door.

We had a very nice tour with Colonial Oaks, but nothing really stood out to me. I know they just bought a facility out south and I am excited to see what they do with it.

A nice facility and was good to our Mom but whom ever evaluated her to go there did not do a good job. She was really not eligible as this was an assisted living facility and Mom needed Memory Care as she is not able to care for her self. After a couple days they realized that she could not stay there and they didn;t have the staff to care for her so we were ask to find some place else to move her. They didn;t have an opening in there Memory Care.
