Colonial Oaks Senior Living

What I was looking for was a place closer to my home, cleanness of the facility, nice friendly staff and the affordable of the facilities and care and safety for my wife. I found all the things I was looking for and chose Colonial Oaks.

[name removed], the person that gave a tour information, was wonderful, very professional, friendly and helpful.

Small. Pet friendly. Great staff and nice People.

It was a great place! The tour was thorough and very informative. This place was very welcoming. It will be perfect for our needs.

The things we like the most about the community are the friendliness and caring attitude of the staff. The discount we received for mom's semi-private room. There are always activities for the residents and nice activities for the families too!

We are extremely happy with the service that we get from this facility. The staff is wonderful. The Management is wonderful and they take great care of my mom. They’re very communicative with her care and call me whenever anything is needed. The facility takes care of all of our needs and the staff is very personable and caring.

Love the staff. They are so sweet to her. The facilities and her room are always keep clean. Get her showered regularly, which I couldn't do.

The director of nursing is very passionate about providing the correct level of care. I pop up on odd days for memory care and someone is always there.

They seemed caring towards their patients and their families.

I would say that I was very pleased with my experience with them. Staff were very friendly and the facility appeared clean and organized. The food must have been good because it was told to me that he ate well. The only negative that came from my husband's stay was that they lost two items of his clothing and were unable to track it down...a pair of jeans and hoodie type jacket.

Been here [time frame removed] and have been very pleased with all of the staff and residence. Everyone has been really friendly and helpful. There are plenty of different activities to choose from

The staff is great and very helpful. My parents are very happy living there.

I have recommended CO to my neighbor for her mother. The individual care my mother receives is encouraging and gives me peace of mind. Everything is going well.

We could not need happier. Mom was struggling and we were struggling to keep up with her ever changing needs. The staff at Colonial Oaks has been fantastic. Everyone has been so kind and caring. Mom settled right in and it was easy to see the extra care and support was exactly what she needed. Colonial oaks is a warm and homey environment. We definitely made the right choice!!

Our mom has not and u fortunately does not participate in the activities. They seem to hVe activities of some kind everyday. Everyone staff member and Administrative personnel have been extremely friendly and concerned. However, there has been no hot water in her bathroom, and cannot be fixed because corporate will not spend the money to put an additional hot water heater in her end of the building. We were not told that before moving in. Also, the maintenance man has been very slow taking care of small issues in her room. [name removed], the Director and [name removed], Asst. Director, have been great. And [name removed] has worked very diligently to address our concerns and she is making major changes in the kitchen to ensure the food will be better. It seems that these places and assisted living places all have issues with food! They must not hire people that can actually cook! It is so sad! I hope this helps!

I'm very happy he's there. They have been a huge support for us both before and after my mom passed. [name removed] (director) is AWESOME!!! Because staff is hard to keep it hinders the quality of food, cleaning, and quality of care for the cost. I don't think it's the fault of the company. It's unfortunate it's this way I think just due to "society". Overall they are fabulous and the community is wonderful and my dad is very happy there!

I have referred other people to that facility... when they have reported back to me, they said it was very expensive to get into for upfront costs. And, even though it appeared clean and fresh inside, for some reason they felt uneasy.
