The facility fullfilled all that was expected.

I toured 5 memory care facilities in one week, which was quite overwhelming. When I walked into Wickshire I was impressed with the facility. From the outside one could tell it is an older building, but the inside is decorated nicely and clean and well-kept. [Name Removed] was welcoming and spent a lot of time with me, listening to my concerns and answering all my questions. The memory care wing was spotless, and had no odor, like a previous facility I had my mother in. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told some of the staff had been there as long as 15 years. I would recommend checking out this facility if you are looking for memory care for a family member. I read many, many, reviews before and after visiting and while the majority were good, there were some that were not so good, but in my experience, all the facilities have some negative reviews. I am giving them a chance to care for my mom, and so far I am impressed with the care and the communication from the staff and the facility.

One thing that really stuck out for me about them is their location and that they were very close to family and myself. And the fact that the patients rooms all have their own private bathrooms, and were large enough to accommodate the furniture that we would be giving her. Just overall, the staff is very friendly and always willing to answer questions. And I would just also say that I am just very happy with everything that they have been able to do for my mother.

Very clean and bright facility. My mother receives the needed care. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Food is cooked from scratch. Indoor and outdoor activities. Management is on top of all services. I would recommend this facility.

I would suggest there is some room for improvement in communication from staff as I found this to be a little lacking. Overall I would highly recommend this facility. My sister was treated beautifully. She just moved out last month to be with her daughter in another state. I am so happy to have had your help finding this home for her. All staff were so kind and loving to my sister. The staff that I interacted with were always kind, helpful and more than willing/wanting to help my sister.

If things were different with her I would probably go back. We picked this community, for quietness however; what happened was the airport decided to fly directly overhead and my wife's illness seems to be noise which affects her mentally.

My mother in law fell and broke her hip and femur. We knew for now she could not come back home so used A Place for Mom for our search for assisted living. Wickshire Senior Living is the one we chose. It is very bright, they have lots of activities for the residents. My mother in law will continue to receive therapy there. Our move in experience was great with the help of [name removed] and [name removed]. I know my mother in law is going to love this place as she just moved in yesterday.

I would definitely recommend Wickshire Port St. Lucie to others. They have good rapport with the residents. The staff takes care of Mom in a very efficient way. The housekeeping is good. The food is great. However, we have to keep up with her medical needs constantly.

The staff at Wickshire Countryside was amazing. [Names removed] and the other Activity Director are top notch. The staff was great. Communication with the family was clear and transparent. I would recommend this facility to others.

The CNA and med techs are always willing to help with laundry and my showers. My hair has a special shampoo and they wash my hair well.

Everyone here is very nice! We get our meds on time. The food is good. We have a lot of choices. Administration is so nice and helpful. The building is always clean.

Meds are always delivered on time. Med Techs are always polite and nice when they bring the meds. Administration is great! Activities are best in town. The food is awesome.

The staff is extremely friendly, caring, and helpful at The Pointe. From what I've seen, they are very attentive to needs that arise. The place is generally clean, well-lit. Places that need upkeep are getting just that. From what I understand, as a unit becomes available, flooring is being replaced with hardwood flooring, probably laminate. The move-in process was strange because as my loved one moved in, they were being evacuated for a hurricane, so it's hard to judge that process. The theft is an unfortunate issue, but my loved one has learned to be savvy in hiding things and making sure that she has no cash in her room. She really enjoys the meals, says they are tasty, but would like a little more variety in the menu. I would recommend The Pointe to others and have already done so.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Pointe and everything was great for her at this facility. The staff was amazing. They keep you abreast of all that's going on. The move in process was easy. My loved one and other members of our family liked the meals and always said that they were good. I would highly recommend The Pointe. They were amazing to my loved one right up until her passing.

Facility was well maintained and did not have any unpleasant odors as opposed to others we visited. The staff was super friendly and informative. The room we looked at and contracted for a family member will make for nice living quarters. The menu looked appetizing though we did not eat there. I have good feelings that our family will be very well taken care of and hopefully the staff will be a second family also??

Place for Mom rated this community highest and close proximity to family. Cost not prohibitive. I would recommend the community due to the understanding of the staff from beginning inquiry to placement. Understanding the emotional turmoil the family is feeling.

The reason we gave the cleanliness 3 out of 5, is because our loved ones room was a little unclean by the friends and the bed was awful. However, the environment at the community is very friendly and the clients are really nice to talk to. We would recommend The Pointe community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Our family visits twice a week. Mom is always busy with activities and has many friends. Food is always improving. Not totally happy with communication between administrators and family. They take very good care of mom and go out of the way to help her make the most of her days. Mom is 95. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Wickshire Port St. Lucie to other families and already have. Mom has been there just over a year.
