Terrible care of our loved one in memory care. The food lacks taste, along with letting our loved one remain incontinent for long periods of time. Aides not knowledgeable regarding memory care management. Med. passer handed our loved one her own meds and inhaler to take in our presence. Mattress soaked with urine. Need we say more.

Worst place ever. We agree with the review right before us. Our loved one was left to be incontinent on a regular basis. So much so that when we moved her to a new memory care facility we found that her once perfect pillow top mattress and box spring where now saturated and stained right through to the box spring,leaving large rings of urine stains. Same with her couch. We also watched a med passer hand a memory care client her own cup of meds to take along with an inhaler. When addressing these issues with area rep. for company and RN we were told these where isolated incidents. Needless to say she is no longer there. [Name removed]

My father was there briefly, a couple of years ago. I don't know about the assisted living part, but the memory care section was sadly lacking. Overall building looked rundown, fish tank in memory care virtually empty and filthy part of the time. No decent books, a few crummy puzzles, nothing to stimulate people there. Part of the staff were good, part were not - they had their favorites residents. Not much time spent with the residents in between meals and a few sparse activities. Not impressed, was expecting more interactive care.

Do NOT consider this place. Upon visiting our relative - a young woman staff sitting at a table in front of the refrigerator, laying her head on the table. She certainly could be visiting with residents or cleaning or whatever. The rooms are supposed to be cleaned once a week - they are not!!! The bathroom is filthy and carpets not vacuumed. Poor activities staff. Staff speaking harshly to residents who attempt to sneak out the locked door Staff sitting outside in front of the building and reek of smoke. Disgusting.

Not a good place! Don't send your loved one to white pine anywhere! Management is horrible at communicating and do anything to make a buck! It's all money driven and not at all resident centered. The clinical staff (nurses and aides) are caring but completely over worked, under paid and management gives them very little support! They aren't about the person, just out to make money!

We moved our father into Comforts of Home two weeks ago. Since then we have come at various times of the day; between 8am and 6pm and found him to be; Sitting in his own waste No showers full of food sitting at a table an hour after the meal time passed. We have observed others who need a high level of care also left to wait. This place is so understaffed its really hard to believe. There are rarely more then 3 people working to 40-45 residents. When we have questioned our fathers care the staff is very defensive, rude, finger point at each other. The broader company is a for profit company profiting off the humiliation and [Removed] of their residents. They should be ashamed.

This place is not what it seems.. you must be observant to catch the things you would normally miss when touring a place like this-- or talk to a previous worker, as I did. I toured this place a while back for one of my parents because we are at that point in life where assisted living is needed and we are looking for a place. Overall, the place seemed really great! Nice location, the lounges and dining areas are nice, as well as activities that are offered for residents. However, understandably they do not let you see a lived-in room, they only show you an empty one. Little did I know there was probably other reasons they did not show us an occupied room. After a pleasant tour, I decided to do more research before officially putting my parent there (as the cost is very high). Some things didn't seem quite right either (i.e. the workers looked so unhappy, while the residents that I saw looked alright). So I did some research and I contacted a previous worker, a certified nurse. This woman, along with other people she worked with left for many reasons. Apparently management is terrible, and although that may not effect the residents as much, these managers do. They are not checking up on workers/residents and not treating this place like an assisted living, but more like an independent living place, which it clearly is not advertised as such. By that I mean many residents are getting neglected without realizing it. Managers are not making sure that the workers and caretakers are doing their jobs, and the caretakers are overall not doing a very good job. Furthermore, when other workers, such as this woman, complained to management about this, it was shoved aside. According to these sources (who will remain anonymous), rooms are not cleaned, residents that need special care are not getting checked on regularly, and CNAs are given tasks that they are not trained/equipped to do, and so on. Many specific stories were shared but because I didn't personally witness them, I will not share them. I know this review is mostly going off what someone else said, but from what I know, this place may come off to family members as pleasant and clean-- as it did to me-- but the life inside a resident's room is not. I would not put my parents in this place. Not worth the risk, money, or precious time that my parent has left on this earth.

Unfortunately the staff is not trained they hire people with little to no experience also there is not a nurse on staff daily one may come in one time a month and do a quick vital check ,the food is horrible and staff is very unprofessional my father's room was always dirty b.m on the floors of bathroom and at times his bed was made with dirty soaker pads and staff would just pull blankets up on bed to avoid changing them

The regional Manager (Denise) couldn't manage a lemonade stand. This place is understaffed constantly. The employees bicker with each other in front of the clients. The Medicine isn't given to the clients on time. I feel it is a terrible risk to put a loved one in this facility or any other of the ones Denise may manage regionally. It is a terrible shame since the facility is very beautiful and could be run much better if they just got new management, who knows who to keep on staff, and who not to. Employee's should be based on their people skills, and abilities not Her own personal opinions. I have personally heard Denise accuse innocent people of things and berate and belittle the staff telling them "I don't care if I have to fire everyone." and "If you don't like it here, go work at Walmart" with extreme prejudice and what I believe to be seriously unprofessional behavior. DON'T come HERE unless you know they've replaced HER at LEAST.

Would not recommend.
