I toured during the open house tea and visited during several holiday decorated times. There are always activities going on that look very inviting to me. I am not ready for assisted living myself but my opinion of the place is it is so homey and fun. A place for a beloved mother or father that everyone would feel comfortable visiting .

Cedar Creek is a nice friendly community with good staff. The place is always clean, they decorate for all the holidays and have lots of activities for residents to engage including going on outtings. I have enjoys visiting through the last several years. I have gotten to know their staff as several have been there for some time which is nice to see longevity in their caregivers.

we loved it there, so grateful we had [name removed], director of nursing to help us through everything, she was our angel!! It is a very friendly environment staff and residents as well. I would absolutely recommend Cedarhurst of La Vista to others.

It is very clean and when we first visited everybody stopped to say hello to us and greet us. Some of the caregivers have been exceptionally good and well suited for my loved one. She also says the food is good.

Currently live here at Cedarhurst. Staff is amazing and so helpful with me. Have therapy services that I enjoy having. If you move here, you will be happy. We have happy hour and movie night every day.

My father has been at this facility for one year and I am impressed! Their case has been great in every way.

The staff at Cedar Creek was excellent with my mother. Care, meals, and all the above was great. Cedar Creek is a great place for loved ones. I would recommend Cedar Creek to anyone looking to put their loved ones.

Everyone is very helpful and welcoming. The facility is clean and people seem to be enjoying themselves. They have a very vibrant dining facility. I would and already have recommended this facility to others that I know!

My mother was a resident of Cedar Creek for the past 18 months giving my family plenty of time to assess the facility and it's staff. To put it simply the facility and the staff are thy top facility in Monroe county area, and probably anywhere else. The director is hands on and sets the example of caring and comforting for the remaining staff. My daughter, an RN having worked in most local long-term care facilities, says without hesitation Cedar Creek is certainly the number one local facility and the caregivers are uniformly the best she has worked with. Their great attitudes toward assisting residents are absolutely exemplary. This director understands how to hire wonderful people who come to work everyday with sincere caring in their heart and are eager to help residents. The kitchen supervisor, [name removed], is an warm-hearted person who exudes helpfulness at ever opportunity. Visiting families are treated with respect and compassion.

After coming to terms with the fact that our mom’s cognitive impairment was going to require an assisted living environment with memory care, we started touring local communities. After visiting 4 or 5 places in the area, we felt most welcomed by the staff at Cedar Creek of Fort Wayne. It is a smaller community with an easy to navigate floor plan— especially helpful for those with memory loss! Mom was going no where without her two cats so the fact that Cedar Creek allowed them to come too was a big selling point and won my mom over. The staff has been most supportive and kind and made the transition easier for all of us. They will bend over backwards to make sure your needs are met. But most of all, it’s the supportive family atmosphere, where everyone knows your name that means the most. Mom has met new friends and so have we!

I moved into Cedar Creek in September. So I have nothing but great things to say about living at Cedar Creek. It’s very welcoming and just feels like home and you instantly feel like family. The other residents have been a joy to be around and accepted me into the community right away! I was hesitant to leave my home but once I moved and stayed at Cedar Creek I knew I made the right decision!

Overall experience was very positive. The facility is beautifully, decorated and very welcoming. Very clean you always see somebody cleaning something they're always busy. The dining room is impeccable, and they just got new furniture because the other one was just starting to wear out it barely looked worn. Friendliness of staff there are not enough positive adjectives to describe the staff. Upper management is pleasant. Treat you like an equal knows the residence or if they call it the community they know everybody's name they know their families very very involved in the day-to-day activities. Quality of care mom is on hospice so she doesn't need the nursing care from the staff, but they go in and check on them at night to make sure that they're not having issues in the middle of the night. I think it's probably above par. The staff serving meals is wonderful. They knew all the residents names and they give them hugs and tell them how special they are make them feel like they're at home. The furniture is new as I stated earlier and it's beautiful. The dining room, setting is beautiful it sits on a lake, the food is not as good as I expected it to be it's not that it's bad it's just not excellent. The main meal their hot meal is at lunchtime and then they have some thing much later in the evening usually a sandwich which doesn't bother my mom because she doesn't eat much anyway. Activities wonderful they always come around to the rooms if they're having an in-house activity to do Christmas ornaments or build some thing or any activity, they have they come in remind the residents in their room one on one so that they don't in case they forget, so nobody misses anything they do activities where they all go out to lunch and go shopping yesterday they went out to lunch and shopped until like almost 4 o'clock. They had an absolutely wonderful time. Value for cost I don't know how to respond to that. I know that there were other facilities that were less expensive. Some were more expensive. I think it's expensive all the way around for everybody for my mom to have one room and mediocre meals [fee removed] a month seems a bit excessive but that's me and I'm cheap, I know my mom wouldn't give it up for anything. She absolutely loves it there. In short, I can't say enough nice things about Cedarhurst

The care services is not applicable at this time. For the activities I did not participate in activities but do see several are offered. Based on the experience our family has had so far with Cedar Creek, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

My mom has been living in independent living here. She has made so many friends and is always busy doing the activities. She is so happy she made the move. We visit often and are pleased with what we see. The staff is very caring. A Place for Mom was very helpful with our search.

It was literally the only place that would accept my husband in his current state.It was a good experience. And they tried to help my husband as much as possible.

The staff at Cedarhurst of Springfield are very friendly. The personnel who care for my husband put forth a lot of effort in their care of him. The housekeeping staff are cleaning around the clock and clean up messes that are made immediately. When I visit, the staff are friendly, caring, and answer any questions I may have concerning my husband's life in Memory Care. I also get a lot of interaction with the staff and what is happening at the facility when I am unable to be there. My husband's move into Cedarhurst went as well as could be expected, considering my husband was a bit reluctant to stay there. It took about a month of adjustment overall for him to feel comfortable there. Now, he participates in most of the activities, is eating well, and smiles and laughs the majority of the time. They serve three nutritional meals everyday, along with nutritional snacks. I have already recommended Cedarhurst of Springfield to others who ask about the facility.

Great experience, great people. I would recommend to others. We picked this community because it is not large and very intimate setting.

Every category is a 5. Cedarhurst of Tesson Heights is a perfect fit for our loved one, it has been wonderful for her. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.
