Cedarhurst Living LLC

I moved here two years ago the end of March. I am from Wyoming and moved to Ft. Wayne to be closer to my children. I am 92, still drive, live four miles from my son and daughter in law, a little over a mile to a small strip mall in two directions from this facility which is very convenient for me. I only looked at this facility because it is a one story building, the staff has always been friendly and helpful to me. I do not require any personal staff assistance so I cannot say whether the staff takes good care of the residents who do require personal assistance. When I had covid last year, I can only say that every staff member who came to my room to deliver my meals, check on me, etc. was very efficient, friendly and helpful. I am not one to recommend anything to anyone but I would tell people to come and check the facility in person and decide if it is something that will fill their needs. So far it has filled mine. There are a few quirks here as I am sure there are in any face

We are very appreciative of the care given to our Mom at Cedarhurst assisted living and memory care unit. Everyone that has helped Mom has been very professional, responsive and caring. The Facility is very clean and service is great! The Residents are treated like family.

We moved mom and dad into this facility in May of 2022. We were very pleased with the facility, so pretty and functional with beautiful courtyards and fantastic inside areas for the residents. What mostly made our choice of bringing them here though was the staff. From the very first meeting with [name removed] we felt very welcomed. Soon the outstanding staff became part of our family. When our dad passed away the outpouring of love and care was very touching. And when mom was in the hospital and a rehab center [name removed] came and visited and told mom how much she was missed. The front office staff including [name removed] and [name removed] are always smiling and so easy to work with. The activities people, [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]are so great too. They provide almost daily fun filled events for all the residents. There are wonderful care givers also. [name removed] and [name removed] are so kind and supportive and fun to be around. We are very pleased with moms care at Cedarhurst and would highly recommend!

Beautiful facility and reasonable cost for memory care. Clean and Friendly. Very good facility.

I have been impressed with the facility, but I am not the person responsible for my MIL's ongoing care. My SIL, who carries the brunt of that responsibility is very happy with Cedarhurst.

The cleanliness and the overall feeling of family was the main reasons we chose Cedarhurst of Columbia. All of the staff are so friendly and caring.

The staff was very friendly and caring. They truly seemed to care about their residents. The one complaint we had was the laundry. Even though clothing was labeled, clothes always went missing or mixed up. The facility had many options for the residents to do throughout the day and encouraged the residents to get out of their rooms and participate.

My loved one is a resident at Cedarhurst of Waterloo. Everything is excellent.

Today was my stepdad's assessment for introduction to Cedarhurst. Everyone was fantastic! Our guy felt nervous at first but everyone made him feel welcome and he was relaxed immediately. Great introduction to his new life. Experts!

My father passed away while there and we couldn't have been happier with every aspect of this residence. We were so very happy with them. My dad was only a resident for a short time, but they couldn't have done more.

We looked at a few other facilities, but I remembered I had family friends that had loved ones at Cedar Creek. My wife and I took a unscheduled tour on a Saturday afternoon and were so pleased we did. Pricing was reasonable, all staff are friendly, and the location was perfect for us. From the tour to my mother-in-law moving in has been nothing but good! I was always worried about her falling at home and us not knowing that she was laying there. It would keep me up at night. Anytime she wouldn't answer the phone, we'd get in the car and drive over. I don't have to worry about that now that she resides at Cedar Creek.

From the very first contact with [name removed], I knew this was the right place for my father. Every person who works here treated me and my father with concern and respect. This staff truly cares for their patients and want the best for them. The cleanliness is excellent. I have been in a lot of similar facilities over the years for my work, and none were ever as clean as this. This is a great run program and facility, with top level staff.

Staff are friendly and clean, the place always seems clean. Communication seems solid. You'd have to ask my dad about the move in, but when I was helping move furniture in, it was quite smooth. The meals seem fine, not fabulous, but nutritious and palatable for the elderly. I've been happy with the care so far, I would recommend this facility to others.

The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, and the sales team went above and beyond to accommodate my mom's placement, understand her unique needs, and coordinate her transfer and move-in.
