Seems to be a high turnover rate of employees. I would recommend the facility to others.

Our family had an in person tour with Limestone Lodge and the facility was clean it looked well kept on the outside but it did not have a homey feeling to it. The residents were like zombies. Not one of the people I saw made any type of facial expression.

I did really like Gardens of Pelham but it was EXTREMELY expensive to have both of my parents here and we just could not afford it. The pricing is all inclusive but it was just a lot.

I like the activities, Food is good, I like the back garden.

They seem nice. I don't think they have memory care either. And I don't see photos on the website. [Removed] did some work for them once and didn't like the size of the units.

I have been asked to do a review. I was asked do I need help. No I do not. My friends let them staff manager to help them. I can say its not the same. Anymore. The food is horrible we eat the same thing oven and oven. The night meal is sandwich soup only. It's not quite. Construction night and day. I would move but can't afford much. I would not recommend it now. We really Mrs. Wilma, and this younger manger [name removed] is not nice, makes to many rules.

Positives: the head of the organization is friendly. The price is reasonable. The building and amenities are nice. Negatives: I never once came in there and saw the staff interacting with the residents. I only ever saw them sitting around staring at their phones. They have no ability to handle the more “difficult “ cases. They would rather send a resident to the hospital than have the patience to deal with a resident’s outbursts. Their communication with family members is poor. Instead of informing family members that they don’t want to, nor have the patience for, dealing with highly mobile residents, they make excuses to ensure they get the maximum amount of money before forcing family to remove the resident from their establishment.

I would say that the Salesperson [name removed] is very friendly and does an exceptional job. The only thing is that the community feels like a bait and switch. Once you're in, the price just keeps going up.I personally wouldn't recommend to others. The bullying from [name removed], the Director, alone is enough to say no.

I don't think my dad received the care I was told he would receive, which I think caused his health to decline rapidly and resulted in his death. It was very heartbreaking knowing he did not receive the care they represented he would receive.

Some of the staff are great and others not so much. The nursing team is not trained at all or knowledgeable and they could have better communication. Also, there needs to be improvement with the meals - on the weekends there are only sandwiches and chips. They say they have activities but not true at all they are very sporadic.

Fabulous community full of dedicated staff! Always busy! Provides activities for every holiday which are enjoyed by all the residents and staff!! The food is delicious and they prepare special meals for various occasions.

I had high hopes for the facility but unfortunately before my mother moved in they hired a new facility director who is abysmal at her job. My mother was experienceing a severe UTI and was delusional I had paid a staff member out of pocket to sit with my mother when there shift ended I had asked if there was anyone else who would be willing to sit with her and I was assured I did not need to hire anyone and they would supervise her and keep her safe. Later that night I received a call from the Director that mom had eloped and could not be located after staff failed to supervise her as promised. Cheaper than a lot of the facilities for a reason.

We were very disappointed in the care my loved one received. I did not feel they were taken care of as was represented that they would be.

I do not recommend and will be moving my mother out by end of Nov. Reasons are for experience and my mom can no longer afford. Trying to figure out where else she can go. Med techs are not thorough and almost caused my mother to be hospitalized because they put 2 fentynal patches on her. And after speaking with Director and Nurse it happened a second time. The are not qualified to handle narcotics.

We were planning on moving my loved one into Silver Comet Senior Village. I was extremely frustrated with the Executive Director. Just days before we were going to move our loved one in, the ED tried to change the prices multiple times. I'm relieved that they revealed their true intentions before we moved my loved one in and I believe that this a regular practice for this facility. If you decide to use this facility, I advise you to obtain all pricing and care plans in writing. Make sure to thoroughly review their documents well ahead of confirming the transition for your loved one.

My mother had bedbugs there! They wouldn't take care of them! Awful experience!

I was not pleased. The entire staff was outside smoking, the cook didnt have on gloves or hair net while preparing food.

Daughters perspective : Toured it- was very unprofessional! Lack of trained staff. Lack of activities and services for residents. Most just sit in rooms all day- lots of change in staff never a good sign. Probly whybso many vacant rooms. One room pulled up with unused furniture !
