My first contact with Heatherwood was through A Place for Mom. After I received the contact information, I did a phone interview with their marketing director, Lisa. She is very energetic, likeable and makes a terrific spokesperson for Heatherwood. They were really great to work with, coordinating a difficult move-in, easing mom into independent living and dealing with out of state communication. I appreciate their willingness to consider my mother as a person. She is treated with respect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is great! There are activities to interest her every week. I think the best thing is that I have not received a call from mom complaining and crying. She feels safe and is making friends, just after a month. Kudos to Heatherwood.

We think it's a very nice facility, and she seems to be enjoying it there. It's clean, and the staff is very friendly. They seem to be adequately staffed. She is enjoying the food. We aren't finding any hidden fees or charges, it's pretty much what we expected to pay. It's going pretty good at this point.

This community was very well organized and the staff was helpful in offering information regarding Mom's needs. This property has was very appealing.

Loved the variety of activities they had available. The style of one of their apartments was a style I thought my mom could be comfortable in. I went in doubtful about the location of the facility but it really wasn't far at all. Lisa was great and informative. Loved how the residents had personalized their space in front of their doors. My mom would love that.

The staff here did a very nice job with the tour of their community and they showed us all around and answered our questions. We thought that this community was too much of a hotel style and was too large for our dad. We were concerned that he would be confused by the different levels and due to his back he would have trouble getting around.

My dad is doing well at this community. Everything seems to be going fine for my dad and our family. The care is good and it is not perfect but still good. The staff are nice people but they do not respond in a prompt manner when being asked for help.

So far our experiences in this community have been decent. They are changing owners, so we are waiting it out to see if things change. They are not very good at following through with what they promise. The old administration was not good, I'am really hoping the administration improves. The care staff is great, I really enjoy the staff. The community is very well maintained, everything looks great. The food is good, they have a nice variety of choices. It is a nice community.

1) A lot of the staff is very young which has shown a wide variety of inexperience and there seems to be typical turn over which is seen in the younger workers of today. 2) Care appears to live up to expectations. However, consistency on schedules doesn't always shine. 3) Activities were shining but the younger star who directed them left. Remember, what I stated about turnover. 4) Kitchen staff is very inexperienced and the lead chief/cook doesn't seem suited for providing a professional and quality healthy meal plans. The menu options are lacking in substance and many of the meats served are not prepared well. Overall, this part of Fieldstone is the worst. 5) Health management is an area that is operating well. 6) Facility is clean and that staff is older and their activities and operations are reflected in their more mature ages and work ethics. That is also shown in the maintenance staff. 7) We have mentioned a lot of these concerns, especially about the meals and they state they are making changes but it's a slow moving train. 8) Rooms are appropriate in sizes and functionality with both a single bedroom size and a studio size.

Due ongoing issues with food and delivery of it promise made and promises not kept. The staff are friendly price is better than others but the FOOD needs improvement example no menus for today at all food delivery is not good often times desert is offered because of the lag in getting food orders delivered timely

The staff, not management, but the underpaid and hard working staff are wonderful, and my mother-in-law adores them. The owners have significantly cut back on activities, onsite and offsite, due to financial difficulties, but continue to raise the rent on people with fixed income and don't offer leases anymore, it's all month to month. They have made huge staff changes over the past couple of years. The owners got rid of a lot of people and sent someone from headquarters to figure out what cutbacks to make, and the residents hate her, cause she's younger and shows negativity towards the residents who are seniors.

The place is nice and very clean. The employees are polite and friendly. The apartments are nice and spacious and everything you could need is right there. I hope that this review helps others when deciding on were to take loved ones or to go themselves.

Mom isn't involved much with activities at the building. She has attended some drives and a few activities which she enjoyed. She did have an exercise program but the staff don't seem to be helping her with. Have witnessed many staff sitting together, even nail painting together but not interacting with residents. Almost double the cost of MC in Idaho, for a double room.

A very positive feature of Fieldstone is that residents can migrate from independent living to assisted without moving out of their unit. In addition, the front desk and activity employees are very friendly, patient, and helpful.

The cleanliness of the facility is a 5 but our loved ones room is a 3. her call button was supposedly broken and it took them days to get it figured out. Meanwhile it took a long time and multiple pushing of the button to get people to go out to her room. This facility will not accept people on insulin unless they are able to inject themselves and manage their own dosing. My mom is not able to do that so she is no longer eligible to go there. I had to take her off of insulin while she was there and that led a trip to the emergency room because she had a stomach virus and the medical staff continued to give her the diabetes meds even though she wasn't eating and this led to her blood sugar being dangerously low and she was found semi unconscious. They did not contact me because they had my number wrong in the system even though I had been contacted by other staff previously.

The staff was great when they helped mom, but it might take them 45 minutes to get there. She soiled herself a time or two as a result. If I give the "quality of care" a low score, that will look as though the staff wasn't good, which isn't the case. They were severely understaffed. My mom loved [name removed] who was great, but the management was awful. When they let her run out of pain pills she was addicted to, not once but twice, putting her through extreme pain and expensive emergency room visits, that's a problem. And nobody in a place like that should be waiting 45 minutes to go to the bathroom, as they let even more people go.

We picked them because of the new ,modern décor, open concept main floor and the light, bright feel. Also, we liked the easy outdoor access to walk around the facility and the seating and gardening areas out front. And, the view! I think it would only be fair to make note that these comments are based on the facility almost immediately after it opened and any less than favorable ratings on the staff and level of care were based more on what appeared to be a bit of disorganization, lack of communication and possibly lack of training. The staff and caregivers were all very friendly and willing but seemed limited in their abilities and skills.

The caretaking staff was very good, however the administrative officers were consistently changing and could not keep up with who to discuss any issues with and far too frequent policy changes and major price hikes to try to make up for previous administrators inattention. With the help of hospice we were able to find MUCH better care at a family care home nearby at more affordable cost.

It is an alright place to live. Not much for improvement. Nice hospitality. I would recommend them to others.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice experience but they were in the process of changing up management so at the time it was just not the correct place for our loved one
