Carriage Crossing Management

My loved one was a resident for 8 months before passing. I can say my mother was loved and taken care of from day 1. From the sweet ladies and the front door to all the nurses and aides. I never once had to worry about her. Everyone was such a blessing!

I give them 5 stars. The staff is great. They have good activities. The rooms are beautiful. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

We are very pleased with The Carriages everyone there is very nice. We feel that our mom is being taken care of And after a couple weeks of adjusting she is getting even more comfortable there. The only thing that I wish was a little better is the communication I wish there were more updates on her care I usually have to contact the facility to find out how she's doing but they explained that we would hear from them if anything was wrong. My mother just said that the food is not enough and it's cut up in pieces which she doesn't need that( but a lot of residents need that due to dental issues) there is another menu she can order from but she just forgets to do that.

The staff is very nice. They want to know what his interests are so he can participate. They have allowed him to speak, took him out for a trip to the store. They switched out his monitor to one that vibrates because of his sight. He has the same caregivers which allows them to get know each other. It has been a positive experience.

The facility is very clean and the staff I've dealt with are extremely nice and take good care of [Name Removed]. His apartment is a good size for him and is very nice.

The folks there have been outstanding. Communication is good. Facilities are clean and tidy. They have been patient and accommodating of my mother in law as she enters assisted living for the first time. Food has been good and portion size is reasonable

Everyone was friendly and simplified the process

The way my mother in law has settled in so far has made this a positive experience. The accessibility and friendliness of the staff is really comforting during a stressful process. She has so many more opportunities to have activities than when she was alone at home waiting for one of us to get off work. She's only been there a short time but she is adjusting to her new surroundings well.

It is a very veteran knowledgeable facility

I felt like my father is in good hands. The staff has been A1 in their communication and response to any of my concerns

The cleanliness and the professionalism the staff showed was impeccable. The food was top notch in terms of appearance and taste. Kudos to the chef. I would give them an A overall for everything.

The nursing staff was caring and compassionate when I needed it. The nurses and caregivers were attentive to me. Daughter is a pharmacist my daughter of any changes in my mood, vitals. She had many conversations with nurses about my responses to meds. Lots of interaction between her, the nurses, and the doctor. Husband ease in memory care. Staff kept me updated on him.

I have been very pleased with The Carriages of Decatur. The property is clean and well maintained, and the staff are always nice, helpful, and available any time day or night. Overall, it’s been a very positive experience.

The facility is clean & beautiful. The staff are amazing, loving & caring. They are so great with mom & she is happy where she is and that’s all I ever wanted for her! I would recommend this place to anyone.

When my mom was admitted a few months ago, she was so depressed and would hardly engage in conversation with all her kids. She had lost weight but it didn't take long to gain some back after she moved in to the Carriages. She loves the food. My brothers and I love the communication from the nurses. All the staff are friendly and caring. The activities are fun. We just couldn't be more pleased.

The Carriages of Decatur is a good place to stay . Great Staff , friendly residences Amazing Management. Great dietary services, the atmosphere is amazing it’s a good place to stay . The staff makes the place feel like home !
