Caring Places Management

Overall I think they do a very good job at Forest Grove Beehive. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and well kept. The only complaint I have is that the service in the dining room could use improvement.

It is a very nice place to live. All the people are very nice including the residents.

I live in this assisted living community. I rate Hillside Place 4 stars.

I love the friendly staff, and I like the food. My mother doesn't use activities. The staff are kind, caring, they are always nice to me, cheerful, and they always seem to want to do what's best for my mother. I know she has compassion there. Their whole attitude is about my mom, not them or the company. The only thing I can see that might need improvement is that there appears to be inconsistency with her shower days. But she always gets her medication, and they check on her food. I would recommend it.

We are pretty happy with them. The activities are good but they don't vary the location, so it's always in the same place. Sometimes there is a miscommunication, between the caregivers, and the people reporting to the families. That is our only concern. I would say the food is a five, I've been really impressed with the food. We liked that it was dedicated to memory care. I liked the layout, it's a giant loop and the residents can't get lost. It offers places where they can feel like they were at their jobs, an office with a typewriter, and filing cabinets with files, a mechanics shop with a toolbox.

They are very clean and the staff is very friendly. They do a great job. Sometimes it can be difficult to get someone on the phone, they don't always answer right away, and I don't always get a call back in a timely manor. I know that they are very busy though. I like that it's a small home on a single level. I liked the setting, the atmosphere, the landscaping, it's a very nice place. I think the food is pretty good.

My loved one has not been here long, but so far they appear to be doing a good job. The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff have all been very friendly.

They are very clean. The value is about average for what I saw. I would say the food is a 3.

This community was more expensive in rent than we wanted to spend.

This clean community is up on the side of a hill. It just did not seem like a friendly place. You have to already have an established doctor as it is hard to get a doctor over there. The ceiling was not high enough by the pool table to play.

My mother isn't totally satisfied with the fact she is now living in a retirement community, but with some time I'am hoping she becomes more adjusted to it. This is an older facility, but for the most part they do a good job with keeping everything nice and clean. The staff is nice and friendly. They are treating her very well. The food has been a little disappointing. Overall they are caring for her well, so I would recommend it.

We actually moved mom to another facility. There was a lot of staff turnover including the executive director which was a concern and the meals definitely need improvement. They do have some great aides!

Good community, with less choices for meals.

The staff is very friendly and they have activities for the residence to participate in. I feel that they are understaffed and the food used to be better when we first moved our loved one in. I would say this community is adequate.

I think it is a good place but for my parents it wasn't a good fit. I think that they make it appealing and affordable to get it there, but once they are there, they reassess , and raise the cost of care. They do not offer the medicaid spend down. It is a business and hard to balance people and profit. In my parents situations, my parents were both on dementia spectrum, and I believe had the assessment been more thorough on the front end, we could have had a better understanding of the cost and the support needed.

i would suggest keeping a close eye on follow up when you need to communicate. The staff are shorthanded. The caregivers seem pretty friendly but they don't have time to do little extra things for the residents, especially during the COVID lock down time. The food is pretty good and they offer variety but they serve small portions. They offer a few activities, like shopping trips and bingo.

Very nice facility, but not the right fit for my Dad.

We now have a new director. [Removed name] is wonderful and hopefully will do great things for this facility. Give Artesian Place a try.
