Caring Places Management

My dad has been at Hearthside Manor for only a few weeks. So far, I am very pleased with the casual, home-like atmosphere and the caring staff.

They communicate a lot. We picked this community because of the location and availability. I would recommend to others.

The staff members at Awbrey Place are wonderful. It sounds like they have some turnover in staffing (cook, cleaning staff), once they hire for those things in those departments, things should get better.

We went with Hearthside Manor because it is a smaller facility with only about 36 residents. It had a better feel and vibe that we really liked. The staff that I have met with were friendly and knowledgeable and they truly care for the residents. They send out a monthly menu and it has a good variety on it. My mother in law seems to throughout enjoy the meals. She was able to get her own private room here which was a big plus for us. We have had a few issues with them misplacing some clothing items, but overall things have worked out well. We would recommend the facility to others looking.

The community is centrally located by the town center. The library, police dept, and the firehouse are all very close and the community is a safe area. This community is close to a lot of dining options and a park so you are able to spend time outside. They also handled the pandemic very well and the residence was able to continue interaction with each other. Communication between the community and our family is very good and they keep us well informed. I would recommend this community to others.

If your loved oned one is mobile then this facility would work for you, They seemed to be short-staffed so the response time if help is needed, may take a while. the staff really was trying and doing the best they could.

This is a good place for your loved one to go to. The friendliness of the Creekside Place is amazing. The staff always responds to the resident's needs. They check on the residents and make sure they that they are happy.

I would recommend this community. The rooms were a good size, the food was pretty good. The outside looked good and there are places to walk.

The staff were all very satisfactory. The building was excellent, it was clean and secure. I chose that community because it was recommended by a director of another care community. I would recommend this community to other families as well. It was also close to the hospital and his doctors which was nice.

Cascade Place has a very nice environment. The residents who live there all get along well. The staff are amazing. Overall, I would say it is a great place. We chose it because we liked a smaller community, it was the cleanest , and the things my mother needed were available to her there. My mother hasn't complained about anything. She likes living there and likes the food.

My family and I arrived a half hour early, and they didn’t seem aware of the tour I had set up. They did have the activity director conduct the tour and she was quite knowledgeable except for pricing. We were provided a packet with all of the info for us to peruse on our own time. There was no high pressure a. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. This was our first tour regarding a memory care facility. It was in a quiet area. And close to our home.

My father has been with Awbrey Place Community for almost a year now. We are fortunate to have a staff that is dedicated to meeting my father's needs. The community is close knot with many monthly activities for residents and family. We feel Awbrey Place is the best assisted living facility in Bend.

This has been a great community for my mom. The staff has always been very kind and caring. They have been working hard to provide activities and improve the facility. The staff is always very caring but there seems to be a lot of turnover

Overall appearance of buildings, grounds and staff was good. I might miss a stove, but maybe that's the way it is. I am concerned that there is no "spend down" policy. I'll be having lunch there on the 26th.

My loved one is staying at Carriage Place, and I feel that it has been a good experience overall. The staff there is very helpful, and I think that they do a good job monitoring the residents there. I definitely appreciate that it is a safe, secure place for my loved one. The food is good, The community is clean, and my loved one is enjoying playing Bingo.

I had to put my husband in this community in a very short time and everything is working out. The caregivers are very, very good. It is a nice, clean community. He will go to the exercise classes sometimes. And he will go to the dining room for lunch and breakfast. He will be able to get fruit for a snack if he needs it. I would recommend this place to my friends.

My father had been staying at Forest Grove Beehive, and overall, I feel that the staff is really friendly and that they're good with my dad. They check on him daily, help him take his meds, and generally make sure he’s doing well. It’s a clean place, and it’s small, with only about 48 residents. They have daily activities to keep the residents stimulated like a magic show, visits to the aquatic center, bible studies every morning, social hours, movies, exercise days, and so many others. They do seem to have issues keeping staff though and because of that, my father doesn’t always get his showers when he should I have talked with the director about this, and I feel they are trying to improve. With these improvements, I’d be able to give 5 stars.

My friend loves living here. The staff loves him they wish they could duplicate him. They know the residents by name and they make them feel valued and important. The staff also makes the friends and families feel welcome. The community just went through a remodel so everything looks nice and brand new furniture in all the common areas. My friend likes the food but then again he will eat most anything. The best thing I like is that it is within walking distance from where I live.
