Caring Places Management

We were very unhappy with the outside of the place so we did not even bother to stop. It needs cleaning up for sure to make it look more approachable.

Mom is not happy with care , her services are delyed. Her request is to have her compression hose placed on her before breakfast. There is delays so she misses breakfast she is diabetic and then that affects her health...Ask or check around this one has some issues with care response time.

Pleasant and encouraging during phone interview but harsh and unwelcoming at facility interview. My Mom said she would not live there with someone so mean. Our impression was it was unnecessarily rude.

I attempted to wave at elderly loved one through window yesterday and was told very rudely to leave and asked what I was doing and that I should know better. All other facilities are allowing visit through closed windows because of covid19. Also essential licensed personnel have not been allowed in to care for loved one who needs more care than other independent adults at facility. These personnel are essential to this loved ones well being. I would not chose this facility unless you enjoy your loved one being held hostage even to wave through a closed window. I wouldn’t put a dog in this facility after the way I was treated. I plan on contacting my local news to see if they will do a story on this facilities care practices and lack of compassion!

If I could rate this place lower than 1 i would . Just save your time and look elsewhere for proper care for your loved one .

Dont' do it

Do NOT send your loved ones here. My mom was here and the staff is continually changing. Management, nurse, cook, and Care Staff. Communication is poor between staff. I'm sorry I didn't move her sooner. Food is awful. She had to be fed in her room, after everyone else. Cook forgot to fox meal and left. I am angry even writing this. She was charged a very high rate and the services did NOT match the care. All I heard was, "You know her health plan will change. " Not, how are you doing, just $$$. As her rate went up, the care went down. No compassion and no one took responsibility for anything.

Honestly, searching for the right place for a loved one is overwhelming. I was promised a good experience here and I was disappointed (to say the least)! There was LITERALLY a pig running wild through the building when I stopped in unannounced. I later found out that it belonged to someone on the staff, let alone someone in “management”! From what I gather the care staff and people that actually spend time with the patients mean well and they are trying to make things better for the patients but the people they call “management” are a joke. Completely unprofessional, the building is disgusting with air fresheners perched every few feet down the halls to mask the smell. I had heard that this building was getting better, but from what I see, I will keep my family far away!

I would not recommend this care center for the following reasons. One Employees are untrained, of questionable character and are out right rude. Two The area around this care center is littered with cigarette butts Three The physical plant is outdated and exhaust vents are in disrepair and rattling Four There is a quick turn over of the poorly trained staff Five I have rarely seen a senior outside this care center : / Six $$$$ If the care takers are crude and rude cigarette smokers and the physical plant is questionable how in the world could this be a good care center.
