They are a very good community. Our loved one really liked it while they were living here. It was very nice and clean community. We had no complaint while they were here. The staff did a very nice job taking care of our loved one.

A nice smaller place. Like the 'all inclusive' rate - no extra charges. They provide twin bed, end table, small dresser and chair. Three on waiting list as of 7-2.

Staff is friendly and helpful. I am not convinced enough effort was made to assist with eating or that the diapers were changed every 2 hours. I was paying for the highest level of care. I think her experience would've been more positive if she could communicate with all staff members. Although extremely hardworking, some of the aides do not speak English and that was hard on mom. The place is kept very clean and the staff are well meaning and attentive when items are brought to them. A few more people to assist so they can spend more one on one time would go a long way.

Park Visalia is a very nice place. The staff is very nice and everything they do is very good. The one area where they really need to improve is the food. The food is not good at all, and has only gotten worse. Several people have complained about it. Hopeflly they will take notice and make some improvements soon. Everything else is very nice.

The one thing that bothers me is that there is a huge turnover in staff at Park Visalia. There were four different directors last year and multiple changes with the regular patient care staffing, so I'm not feeling really comfortable about my husbands care at this point.

The residents and staff were very good. I would tell other families, that if they ever want themselves or their loved one to feel like an ATM Machine then this is the place for them. The staff was good but never had a management group made me feel like my mother was a paycheck and not a person.

A good community, just didn't seem to be the right fit for my loved one. There are a lot of open space for the residents to walk around.

My loved one was not to pleased with the meals they provided for her. The veggies were always over cooked and they needed more of a variety of dinner plates. The nursing staff needs improvement on there organization with medications, my mother did not have the correct medications for the first couple days because of their miscommunication.

Strictly an Assisted Living facility. The most expensive ( 244500 2b month 2b deposit plus cost for various levels of care) of the ones in this area. Also the oldest facility. Looking for my father dont think he would be happy here.

I would tell others that the gardens at Park Visalia are very pretty, and they do allow pets, ( but for an charge extra). Overall though I'm more than just a little disappointed at this point in our experience here.

Very Disappointed - apparently they just started Renovating the Facility and cannot even show new clients the facility for at least 4 months, and we were very interested in this facility

Carefield Castro Valley was horrible. It was like night and day compared to the place we chose. It cost a lot more. Yet it felt like a cold, hospital room. You had a shared bedroom with one bathroom. There was no privacy or curtain in the bedroom. And they didn't have a lot of activities.
No 1 bedroom apartments, just studios.

My Mom and myself also had thing’s stolen from her room while she lived there. Keep watch of your jewelry and any nice sunglasses to say the least.

We drove by Madonna Gardens for my loved one, but we didn't go in. Even from the outside, it just looked so dismal to me. I knew without even touring that this was not the place for my loved one to be, so we continued our search.

This facility was not acceptable, maintenance seemed sub standard, there was no memory care, residents were not visable and /or engaged (only saw two or three and they were not interacting with staff) management was kind, but unprofessional. Plenty of openings here.
