Carefield Living

I have been coming to Carefield to perform for the residents for over 2 years and I must say, this community by far is one of the most friendliest and dedicated team I have ever met. I perform in over 15 communities and Carefield’s staff always make it a point to join the residents in singing and dancing, which makes my job easier. Their staff can dance! To all the caregivers and employees at Carefield, thank you for doing what you do!

I recently toured this community with my brother and am very impressed with how spacious and clean it is. I was greeted by a smiling staff and offered coffee and snacks while filling out a form. I then met with the Executive Director, who was very friendly and welcoming,. The staff were all very pleasant, and the room they showed me was a good size. Although I am not a fan of shared rooms with beds placed next to each other, she explained the benefits of having a roommate in a thoughtful way that gave me a new perspective. [name removed] is extremely knowledgeable and clearly well versed in memory care. She also introduced me to the Med aid, who mentioned he has been with the company for over 10 yrs. which says a lot about the quality of the team. The dining room was a bit warm and crowded during dinner, but the residents seemed to be enjoying themselves. My brother and I will be discussing the pricing further with our sister. I am very impressed and would recommend this community.

The community as a whole is very nice. all of the caregivers are very nice. My father is very happy there except for the food. The meat is often way too tough to cut. The food is usually cold by the time it gets to him. And apparently the coffee is bad too. Believe it or not, my father enjoyed the food at the skilled nursing facility, much more than he does at Carefield. I will say at least there is always a menu of alternatives if he doesn't like what's being served that day. But other than that, we have no complaints.

I recently visited Carefield unannounced, and I was very impressed! The front desk staff was welcoming and accommodating and assuring me that someone would be happy to show me around even without an appointment. While I waited, they provided a discovery form for me to fill out. Shortly after, the Executive Director came out with a warm smile, ready to answer my many questions and graciously took the time to give me a thorough tour. A few days later, my brother also stopped by unannounced, and he had the same wonderful experience with the Care Director followed by a call from the Sales Director. We are happy to say that we decided to move our father in and it’s truly the best decision we’ve made! The Executive Director called after two days that my father was living there, checked in with us if we have any questions after the move in and offered to reach out anytime if needed. Thank you to all the caring staff at Carefield for making us feel supported, and at home from the very start.

I toured this facility and was impressed with the staff and how nice everything was. They have a lot of amenities and it doesn't smell bed. I felt very welcome. I would recommend them to anyone looking.

The staff at Park Visalia are very engaged in supporting our family member who suffers with memory issues. They go the extra mile to make sure you and your family member have the resources for a smooth transition and a great stay!

Madonna Gardens was like a second home for my wife. She always said she loved it there. Everyone is so loving and caring . Everyone went out of their way to make sure she was happy in her journey.

One of my best friends of 29 years moved into Carefield last year. At first, I was very worried for her, so I drove three hours every weekend to visit and make sure she was being well cared for. This became my routine. In the beginning, she was also worried and often thought about going back home. But we both knew that with her memory impairment and dementia diagnosis, living alone was not safe, and having 24/7 in-home care would be far more difficult and costly. Over time, she accepted her situation and placed her trust in the care staff and managers. Looking back now, I can truly say this was the best decision her nephew ever made. She is happier and more content than I’ve seen her in a long time. She loves the care staff and often shares how the management team is always available and attentive to her needs. The activities are a big plus too. The activity director always makes sure to remind her of upcoming events, which keeps her engaged and looking forward to each day.

During my recent tour of Park Visalia, I was especially impressed by the staff. Everyone I came into contact with was kind, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the residents. It was clear that the team takes pride in creating a warm, supportive environment. Staff members were knowledgeable, patient with questions, and made a real effort to ensure visitors and residents alike felt comfortable and cared for. Their professionalism and compassion stood out and gave me great confidence in the quality of care provided here.

Great staff , good community, spacious rooms.

My mom is a resident at Park Visalia. It’s been a great encouragement to hear and see how she’s being cared for. The caregivers give her excellent care and are engaged with her and encourage her along the way. I know there’s also been times when they have been very patient with her. The sheer number of quality caregivers tells me something of priorities of Park Visalia. The AL care coordinator has also impressed me greatly. She’s taken over the role of supervising the med techs, and we recently had a meeting, and she impressed me as someone who is very encouraging, knowledgeable, and helpful in her position. She also communicates that care and seems to be very effective in what she does. Thanks again to the executive director for all her help and work and those that work under her.

[name removed]was amazing, kind and considerate!! My husband [name removed] and are looking for a place to care for my father in law. We did not have an appointment scheduled [name removed]took us right in and served us wonderful lunch in the dining room. During our visit we met very nice nurse [name removed]and the fantastic chief [name removed]. The atmosphere was cheerful and happy and residents all very nice.

I just love visiting this facility because the staff are so nice and welcoming. It smells really nice and the patients all seem very happy. They also have a bus which I think is nice because they get to go out and explore the area and try new restaurants.

What we like the most about Park Visalia is the Quality of care and Yes I would recommend them

My cousin has a very bad case of Parkinson’s disease. His mind is very sharp. He has taught staff to play various card games. They cater to his needs with love and dignity. And they work hard to help meet unique and one-off needs. It is a joy to work with them to serve my cousin.

Park Visalia is a special place where you feel welcome. It smells good and it seems like they are always having something fun to do or eat. I always find it amazing how many of the people that live there like to spend time up front with everyone and the employees. It's always very lively in there.

The staff, every single one of them, are caring, dedicated, mindful, wonderful individuals. They all know each community member. The facility is kept extremely clean and safe. The food is great. I missed being there after my mom passed.

Carefield Memory Care is a wonderful facility! The staff is amazing…everyone from the front desk greeting to the gentle care that the caregivers give to the residents. Before Carefield my Mom was at different place…I have to tell you there is no comparison. My Mom is now happy and well taken care of. I would recommend Carefield to any one that has a loved one. You will be able to sleep at night knowing they are in great loving hands.
