Carefield Living

During my recent tour of Park Visalia, I was especially impressed by the staff. Everyone I came into contact with was kind, attentive, and genuinely engaged with the residents. It was clear that the team takes pride in creating a warm, supportive environment. Staff members were knowledgeable, patient with questions, and made a real effort to ensure visitors and residents alike felt comfortable and cared for. Their professionalism and compassion stood out and gave me great confidence in the quality of care provided here.

Great staff , good community, spacious rooms.

My mom is a resident at Park Visalia. It’s been a great encouragement to hear and see how she’s being cared for. The caregivers give her excellent care and are engaged with her and encourage her along the way. I know there’s also been times when they have been very patient with her. The sheer number of quality caregivers tells me something of priorities of Park Visalia. The AL care coordinator has also impressed me greatly. She’s taken over the role of supervising the med techs, and we recently had a meeting, and she impressed me as someone who is very encouraging, knowledgeable, and helpful in her position. She also communicates that care and seems to be very effective in what she does. Thanks again to the executive director for all her help and work and those that work under her.

[name removed]was amazing, kind and considerate!! My husband [name removed] and are looking for a place to care for my father in law. We did not have an appointment scheduled [name removed]took us right in and served us wonderful lunch in the dining room. During our visit we met very nice nurse [name removed]and the fantastic chief [name removed]. The atmosphere was cheerful and happy and residents all very nice.

I just love visiting this facility because the staff are so nice and welcoming. It smells really nice and the patients all seem very happy. They also have a bus which I think is nice because they get to go out and explore the area and try new restaurants.

What we like the most about Park Visalia is the Quality of care and Yes I would recommend them

My cousin has a very bad case of Parkinson’s disease. His mind is very sharp. He has taught staff to play various card games. They cater to his needs with love and dignity. And they work hard to help meet unique and one-off needs. It is a joy to work with them to serve my cousin.

Park Visalia is a special place where you feel welcome. It smells good and it seems like they are always having something fun to do or eat. I always find it amazing how many of the people that live there like to spend time up front with everyone and the employees. It's always very lively in there.

The staff, every single one of them, are caring, dedicated, mindful, wonderful individuals. They all know each community member. The facility is kept extremely clean and safe. The food is great. I missed being there after my mom passed.

Carefield Memory Care is a wonderful facility! The staff is amazing…everyone from the front desk greeting to the gentle care that the caregivers give to the residents. Before Carefield my Mom was at different place…I have to tell you there is no comparison. My Mom is now happy and well taken care of. I would recommend Carefield to any one that has a loved one. You will be able to sleep at night knowing they are in great loving hands.

They do a great job there! They have everything they need at this facility, staff are great, they seem to like the food. Staff are very helpful with the residents when they need help. They do a good job communicating with the families also! The room sizes are a little small, especially if they are going to stay here for a while, it's hard to bring all the comforts of home.

Highly recommend Carefield of Pleasanton. The staff and the food are outstanding and world class.

My father-in-law was hospitalized for falling at his house and I've had to take charge in looking for somewhere for him to go and be safe. I found Park Visalia online and realized I'd driven by it many times but didn't know it was an assisted living home. It was so pretty and big on the inside and the young lady at the front desk named [name removed] was the sweetest thing ever. We still have a long road to recovery but we will choose this place when the times comes.

I toured multiple places when I was looking for somewhere for my mom to live and this one was the best. The entire staff has been amazing since she moved in, they truly care about everyone's wellbeing and take the time to get to know everyone on a personal level. I've also had several meals here and the food is always amazing with multiple options for every meal. This is the happiest I've seen my mom in a long time, I'm very grateful that I found Park Visalia.

Placing my mom in assisted living at Carefield Castro Valley was one of the best decisions we have made. All residents are treated with respect and the staff truly cares about the well being of the residents.

Park Visalia was an answer to prayer for our friend whom had no family and a need to live with extra care for safety & health reasons. We visited another facility of which he was very disappointed. When we visited here he Sao… “this is what I imagined! I love it!” Staff is kind and patient. Facility is clean and beautiful. He even gets to have his precious service dog. Is recommend it for your loved ones.

When my sister moved to The Artesian to be closer to family, we wanted her to be in a place where she’d feel supported and surrounded by like minded individuals. The Artesian has gone above and beyond to make her feel at home. One of the things she loves most is singing to the staff—and the fact that they join in and sing with her makes it even more special. It’s clear they genuinely care about her happiness and well-being. Knowing she’s in a safe, welcoming community where she’s not only cared for but also encouraged to share her joy and love of music has been a true gift for our family. We’re so thankful for The Artesian and their incredible team!

After my father-in-law was diagnosed with dementia and lost his wife, it became clear he could no longer care for himself. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family, but finding The Artesian has been a true blessing. The peace of mind we feel knowing he is safe, well cared for, and surrounded by a team of wonderful, compassionate staff is priceless. The Artesian has provided him with not only the care he needs but also the warmth and respect he deserves. We are so grateful to everyone at The Artesian for the incredible work they do and the kindness they show every day. It has made all the difference for our family, knowing he is in such capable hands.

The Artesian is a perfect place for my mom. Diagnosed with dementia she has been for the past 2 yrs. Always given exceptional care from the kind and caring staff. Mom is treated like a loved one by all. The staff provided safe, loving, and experienced care to all residents. My moms clean, happy and thankful to be at this Artesian.

Our parents have been residents of the Artesian of Ojai for one year now. From the first interview with the director, we have experienced professionalism, kindness, and caring. All the staff that interacts with our parents have been wonderful. The food is great and activities have been fun. The facility is bright and new. Moving was an adjustment but we all feel this is the best place for our parents. Having meals, cleaning, and laundry all included is wonderful. We have gone to many events/activities as a family and feel it is a good fit. We are very happy we did the research and arrived at The Artesian!
