Park Visalia was an answer to prayer for our friend whom had no family and a need to live with extra care for safety & health reasons. We visited another facility of which he was very disappointed. When we visited here he Sao… “this is what I imagined! I love it!” Staff is kind and patient. Facility is clean and beautiful. He even gets to have his precious service dog. Is recommend it for your loved ones.

When my sister moved to The Artesian to be closer to family, we wanted her to be in a place where she’d feel supported and surrounded by like minded individuals. The Artesian has gone above and beyond to make her feel at home. One of the things she loves most is singing to the staff—and the fact that they join in and sing with her makes it even more special. It’s clear they genuinely care about her happiness and well-being. Knowing she’s in a safe, welcoming community where she’s not only cared for but also encouraged to share her joy and love of music has been a true gift for our family. We’re so thankful for The Artesian and their incredible team!

After my father-in-law was diagnosed with dementia and lost his wife, it became clear he could no longer care for himself. It was an incredibly difficult time for our family, but finding The Artesian has been a true blessing. The peace of mind we feel knowing he is safe, well cared for, and surrounded by a team of wonderful, compassionate staff is priceless. The Artesian has provided him with not only the care he needs but also the warmth and respect he deserves. We are so grateful to everyone at The Artesian for the incredible work they do and the kindness they show every day. It has made all the difference for our family, knowing he is in such capable hands.

The Artesian is a perfect place for my mom. Diagnosed with dementia she has been for the past 2 yrs. Always given exceptional care from the kind and caring staff. Mom is treated like a loved one by all. The staff provided safe, loving, and experienced care to all residents. My moms clean, happy and thankful to be at this Artesian.

Our parents have been residents of the Artesian of Ojai for one year now. From the first interview with the director, we have experienced professionalism, kindness, and caring. All the staff that interacts with our parents have been wonderful. The food is great and activities have been fun. The facility is bright and new. Moving was an adjustment but we all feel this is the best place for our parents. Having meals, cleaning, and laundry all included is wonderful. We have gone to many events/activities as a family and feel it is a good fit. We are very happy we did the research and arrived at The Artesian!

My father’s been at The Artesian of Ojai for 2 years. The caregivers and staff genuinely care about my dad and treat him like family. The community and activities are engaging which helps him connect with new people. Since he has been at the Artesian I have found that my relationship with him has improved and now when I see dad, it’s all about catching up and making memories.

Great experience tour an assisted living. I was met by wonderful staff members and residents. Upon entering you get a feeling of tranquility and warmth. Tour was lovely with [name removed] and got to meet some of her team members.

Upon every arrival our welcomes are always greeted grandly by upbeat happy smiling friendly staff members. We moved our dad from another facility to the The Artesian of Ojai 2 1/2 years ago and we are so glad we did! The staff TRULY CARE. The home-like layout of the buildings is perfect. His favorite activities the musical gathering and local outings. It is wonderful to not worry and to know that Dad is safe and well cared for at the Artesian.

I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome we experienced during our recent tour of the facility. The staff's friendly demeanor and hospitality made a lasting impression on my mother and me. In particular, the lunch we enjoyed was exceptional, with two options on the menu from which to choose. Our selection was the salmon, which was thoroughly enjoyable. We were also impressed by the chef's enthusiasm and professionalism in introducing himself to us. Although my mother and I ultimately chose another facility, it was due to our situation being on a waiting list at the time, and not because of any shortcomings in the service or amenities offered by your facility. The community was indeed our first choice.

I would rate Madonna Gardens as a 5 in each of the seven categories you listed. [name removed] was essential in my choosing Madonna Gardens for my wife. She was very helpful in answering my questions to insure that my wife would be happy. My tells me every day that she loves being there. The staff is very friendly and caring.

As someone who works here, I can personally attest to the commitment of the team to ensure every resident feels respected, valued, and at home. The facility is beautifully maintained, with bright, spacious rooms and common areas that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every space is designed with safety and accessibility in mind, ensuring that residents can move around easily while feeling comfortable and secure. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, offering a peaceful environment where residents can enjoy fresh air and nature in a safe, enclosed area. What truly sets Park Visalia apart is the compassionate and skilled staff. The caregivers go above and beyond to provide personalized care, taking the time to understand each resident’s unique needs and preferences.

I was invited for a lunch tour because I am looking to place my dad somewhere. We were greeted by so many of the staff and people who live there and everywhere was so nice. The food was way better than I would have expected and it felt like we were in a restaurant. The head chef even came out and introduced herself to us. This place was impressive for sure.

We have seen staff members from all departments take the time to talk to the residents rather than rush about doing their jobs. The front desk is always so welcoming and helpful. The lifestyle team is fantastic. The male lifestyle member’s laugh brightens the room and we love it when he sings with the residents. The new director has been a great addition to their team. We have seen such a change in the community. Everything looks elegant, clean, and we enjoy seeing the door decorations they create during their craft programs.

This has been one of the cleanest communities I have seen and been to while visiting. The staff is extremely friendly, and truly care about the residents. I would highly recommend touring the beautiful community, as checking out there large and well maintained Courtyard- something you don’t see in senior communities often! Also the food is so yummy and seems really nutritious.

After finding that my dad couldn’t care for himself anymore and received a diagnosis of dementia, I searched the area for a place that would feel most homelike. The Artesian has been his home for almost a year now and we have come to appreciate the staff and community there. He always has the opportunity to visit with others through activities or gathering in the main areas, but is also able to spend time on his own when he prefers. The caregivers have been kind and accommodating to him and have become like family.

After much research about facilities in the area we decided on the Artesian of Ojai for my mom. We couldn’t be happier about our choice. They make fresh, healthy food from scratch. The staff is super communicative and professional. The caregivers are super loving and patient. We just have great peace of mind with my mom here. Just a great facility overall.
