Facility is very nice and well kept. Care is personal and thoughtful. Patients could be checked more frequently and call button is rarely answered in timely way. Not much in way of activities for memory unit. While there's room for improvement, it's a good place overall.

I toured this community and it was good!

I have also had a good relationship with their leadership team. They are relatively laid back, accommodating, and understood that I was suddenly navigating in a world I knew nothing about. The staff are stretched pretty thin, and even though they are dedicated and do their best, they struggle with timely medication administration. Out of necessity, Med Techs are assigned to multiple locations within the facility. However, if you do ask to speak with a Med Tech, they try to get to you immediately to address questions or concerns. I can't stress enough how kind the staff members have been to both of us, and they all do their very best to accommodate every need.

I had a great experience when moving my family member in, I received help from the night maintenances man who went above and beyond, he made my fathers move in smooth. As far as the care, the dinning and activities, its too early in his stay.

My mom has made lots of friends at the gables. She enjoys taking walks outside and loves the green space is provides. She hates that she cannot open a window in her room to get fresh air. She also is annoyed her shower leaks all over the bathroom floor and they have done nothing to remedy it. The family and her biggest concern is that they have been short staffed in the cafeteria and often run out of food that is offered on the menu. I have been with her when she has ordered a hot meal and been served a cold sandwich in its place. VERY concerning.

Our family had an in person tour, with this being one of three communities we looked at overall we had a good tour experience.

I like it there.

The facility is really nice, it is all on one level so it is easy to navigate and easily accessible - it is also really clean. The staff are really friendly but they are understaffed - the nurses and the aids are all top notch and doing the best they can but with being understaffed that is a weakness and sometimes they just don't have the ability to take the time to get certain things done.

They have recently gone through a massive staff change in the last couple of months. It was good before, but after the staff change, I have seen improvement and positive change. Living there has helped my mom. And it has also helped my dad as well, who can now relax more into his role as husband, whereas before he was husband and main caretaker. They've managed her medications and dementia side effects well. Because they deal with dementia challenges every day and have that experience, they are well equipped to care for their residents.

My loved one seems like to like the food. They have Bingo, and different activities for the residents. The other residents have been very nice, and are very friendly. I picked this place because of the great location, they had an opening available , and theywere able to meet the needs of my loved one. They seem to work with you and make accomodations for your loved one.

Overall we are fairly satisfied, we like how the staff show interest in their residents and seem to really care about. Our loved one complains about the quality of the meals so that could be improved, they also could use more staffing but we do understanding the struggles with that right now. Based on our experience we would recommend the Autumn House East to other families.

Wish they had a wider variety of activities. They sold the business in July to a new corporation. It is now part of a bigger group. So not certain what to expect with this all happening now, but hope the future will be great. They have several new move-ins so that is nice.

This was a nice community. The community was slightly larger than we wanted for our loved one.

I've been very well pleased. I consider myself fortunate to live here. I've been here almost 9 years and it's been a good life here. I like the things they offer. The staff are marvelous.

It's good here. I like the staff and everything is good. I like the Bingo.

My communication with residents with Alzheimer's can be difficult, they don't always understand me. I love the activities. I love the artwork. I've learned a tremendous amount of art. I like making welcome signs. I like exercise and Bingo.

I like the activities. Everyone is friendly and I met new people. I like living here very much.

I think it's a good place. It's social here. You feel like you always see people being active. I met some good friends here. It's close knit. The exercise is important and they do it real well. The activities get people together.
