It is all I need. If it wasn't I would leave. I have 4 children in the area. They wouldn't let let me stay here if I wasn't happy. It is my Home. As I told you we are like a family here with the staff and those who live here. We are there to talk to and help each other as much as we can. The community of Pendleton is also involved in showing that they care. Just this week an eighth grade class came to visit us. They made and brought beautiful throws for us. They stayed an hour to interact and visit with us. For Halloween the children will be knocking on our doors for treats. We have a great activities Director and we have time everyday together.

My mom is very happy with the staff. Her biggest complaint, and other residents, is the food. The fried chicken is not good, they use pressed turkey, the service is slow and if you aren't early enough they will run out of things. There have been times that my mom goes back to her apartment and has a bowl of cereal. She is one of the lucky ones that can still drive, so she can go out to eat if she doesn't go far. But the food is included for her almost $[removed] a month. They should be able to do better. She's been told that the menu comes from the "top". Of course they don't eat there. Also they took the chairs from sitting outside, where they can watch the cars go by, and want them to sit in an enclosed area. All they see there is the building. Food #1 problem and that's a big #1. Hopefully this will be read by someone who cares and can make changes.

The facility is attractive and clean. The staff is caring and capable. Their target demographic is independent seniors. While they do offer special care for those that may need it, they are somewhat limited with what they can do if the client is not mentally or emotionally sound. My mother's deteriorating condition quickly overwhelmed the staff. However, they really did well for longer than was probably best for them or my mother. I'll also take this opportunity to say how much I appreciated the help I got from Karen Marlatt at A Place for Mom. She was an invaluable resource and her experience and caring attitude were greatly appreciated.

Aspen Trace provides a safe, caring place for my loved one to live. The apartment is comfortable and the housekeeping staff work hard to keep things clean and inviting. My loved one enjoys eating in the dining room and visiting with other residents. They have recently hired a new activity director and we are hopeful more outings will be scheduled soon.

The staff are very engaging. My loved one has already made friends with other residents. I feel that my loved one is happy and safe. They do not offer a low salt diet to the residents, and this is something that could be improved upon. The delivery of meals in the dining room can be slow for the residents to receive their meals and then the food can arrive cold. There is bingo, music, and more for activities for the residents to participate in.

Our biggest frustration has been some billing issues, mostly because my loved one is cohabitating with another person. So splitting the bill has been an issue. Also, he had to be qualified to get a scooter, and it took almost a month to get that done. Initially there was also some lack of communication and teamwork between Aspen Trace and the VA, but that was finally sorted out. My loved ones seems to be more involved socially than he was at a previous facility and enjoys playing cards. So that has been an improvement.

Very clean facility with skilled living but no availability right now. Will be a talking point with family

I adored the cottages. I think the use of space is perfect and the set up cute. The apt are alright. Not as new and as good of shape but I love the balacony.

Cumberland Trace is a pretty new facility, only about a year old or so. I toured it while looking for places for my loved one. I did like it, I thought it was a very nice place, but I did choose a community I thought might be a better personal fit for my loved one

My tour of the community was done very well by the staff, they did a great job showing me around and answering all my questions. At the time I did the tour there were no available rooms and I felt that the location was a bit too far from my home and I wanted my mom closer.

We have been happy with our experience at Copper Trace. My mother has felt at home and the service/care has been good so far. We had an unexpected transfer from assisted living to rehab due to a fall. Her care there has been good as well and she is looking forward to getting back into AL. The amount of activities available seem less than other places we considered.

This has been a good transition for my mother with her move this community. She is doing quite well. I got most of my feedback from my sister who is close to her, I don't live in the same state. From what I heard so far everything is going well. We are comfortable with the care they are providing her with. There are plenty of activities for the residents. The management is very accommodating with my mother special needs. This is a good fit for her and her needs. Hopefully everything continues to go in a positive direction here at this community.

Kelly was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to see a few rooms which helped to determine what they have available. I was surprised that the apartments in the independent living building did not have stoves in the units. Also the bathroom is in the bedroom and the showers are retrofitted from a closet. It is very odd. The facility is older but for the price point probably what should be expected. It will not work for our circumstances but I appreciate her time.

This is a lovely looking community. From what I saw everything looked very nice and well maintained. The staff was kind. They were informative and answered my questions. It is a nice community, but the location would not have work for the family.

We really loved this place, however, the cost compared to almost comparable communities was higher. When we thought about the annual 4 - 5 % increase, it seemed out of our price range. Other than price, this community has everything going for it.

We looked here when we were looking for a place. It was a pretty nice place, and new. They didn't have any studios though, and that is what we were interested in.

I loved the rehab team! I was there for rehab after my surgery. The suite was very large and the staff was friendly.

I visited 2x but there are no assisted lvg rms open.The building was clean, the rehab rm was large,I think they could use more safe outdoor areas.

We brought our mother here after much deliberation. We are aware of the past issues within Carmel Care. However, the newer Memory Care Unit has been a very pleasant surprise! I was very skeptical, but [name removed] the new director and the nurses and everyone I’ve come into contact with has surpassed my expectations. They are kind and supportive! I am very happy we moved mom here! I truly feel safe with her here. I am a very frequent visitor and each time she has been clean, the room clean the halls clean the staff ready and willing to help! [name removed] is moms primary nurse and she is great! Thank you to all of you!!

I toured here in behalf of my loved one, and I really liked the community. I thought it was very cool, but the fact that there is no smoking on the premises was a no sale for my loved one. My loved one does still smoke, so that was definitely something that needed to be permitted no matter what community we chose.
