large facility. Nice studio in assisted living with half wall to separate bed/living. Small kitchenette w/sink/cupboards. Bathroom has nice set up with low shower threshold and handheld - plenty of room. Mom would like the dining room - open. Memory care option down the road - smelled bad/hot/did not see actual room.

Ailey and staff very nice but was a little disapointed in the layout of semiprivate room. They also will be doing a major remodel/renovation this spring and didn't want mom to have to deal with all the odors,noise etc. Also smelled like urine but I am sure that would have been remedied with the updating. (new carpet)

I liked Almavia. It was a nice place. Cheerfull color in the halls etc.

Very nice. One of the rooms in the back would accomodate my mother's smoking but it is pretty far from the main building. Location is good.

Good amount of space and willing to accommodate. Old bldg that didn't smell very good. Kosher food may be a problem. Seemed negotiable on price.

Nice, small, intimate. Privately owned. Location is good, but not walkable. They have Mah jongg!

They seem to provide good care and activities. The staff are very friendly. My friend is in a studio in the memory care unit, and he has his own private bathroom. It's a very nice little unit. I would try to avoid the food though. He tells me he hates the food. It's never warm, and it's almost always processed diced chicken, sometimes with rice, sometimes with what they call a salad, which is iceberg lettuce, a couple of pieces of tomato, and no dressing. It's all flavorless and the same thing three times a day. Overall, I think it's a good value for the cost. The food is just the biggest issue.

Had problems with some of the morning staff...afternoon staff ([name removed]?) outstanding. No crazy about dinners, breakfast and lunch fine.

This is a clean and friendly and safe community. My mother lived here for 3 years. The staff is great along with the food. My mother made many friends here during her stay

They did not offer skilled nursing at this community and that is one thing we were looking for. This is a smaller community and does not offer a large outside area for the residents to enjoy. This community seemed more for a person that is more mobile.

I am very pleased with the administration keeping me up to date on how my family member is doing. I also received an activity newsletter which details what they offer. The nurse also keeps me abreast on how & when my family member has a doctors appointment & the results of the visit.

Overall I think they do a good job at Alexander Court. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly. My only complaint is that they seem to be a little understaffed during the evening/night hours.

Nice facility - studio rooms very small. Wasn't comfortable having to pay for each meal delivery each day.

There were smells in the hall and it was just not that nice. The staff seemed very nice. We had dinner there. It was full kosher but it was quite tasty. My issue was, where do you go? It's just in a residential neighborhood so there wouldn't be anything around for my friend to walk to and do. Also, the smells in the hall were pretty strong.

I do like the community but there are things that we don't like about it. They told us they have a driver and transportation but they are funny about it. It is difficult to get them; you have to setup the right time and location ahead of time. Just seems like they make it hard to use. The food could also be better, it is a little bland and they could use more of a variation.

They are always short staffed. They don't have enough people taking care of the memory care patients. Also, the turnover is high. The care is average. Staff don't speak English and really aren't experts at memory care
