I was immediately impressed with how friendly and sincere everyone was at Pacifica. While there are programs and things to do there, they really focus on getting to know the residents and building friendships. They encourage visiting and family involvment. It's very relaxed and calm there — contentment!

My mother-in-law, [name removed] has been at Alexander Court (now known as Pacifica) for several years and has received great care. [Name removed] my wife, and I cannot say enough nice thing about the personnel. They are so loving and caring. My father-in-law, [name rmeoved], was also at Alexander Court for I believe 2 or 3 years and received the same great care before he passed. We thank you.

This community is a gem. It is so hard to find quality and compassionate care for people with dementia and the team here seems to do it well. The small setting is just right so staff get to know resident preferences and the families.

We recently moved an elderly friend into Pacifica Senior Living Santa Barbara. Even though he was resistant to move, he quickly was won over by the attentive, caring staff and nicely prepared meals. He has his own private room, but the benefit of 24-hour care, with caregivers looking in on him, helping him out of bed, dress, bathe and safely move around the facility. We especially like the fact that it is all one-level and a small facility, caring for 25 residents. I can't say enough about the personal attention he has already received. It's a wonderful, safe place right in the center of Santa Barbara! I also want to share the gratitude to [name removed] for her knowledgeable and swift guidance in transferring our elderly friend into Pacifica Senior Living Santa Barbara. She gave a wonderful tour of the facility, then navigated us through the paperwork, made calls to doctors, and was there to greet our friend with kind words and assurance upon his arrival. Everything went very smoothly and she brought a sense of calm to the transition. The entire move-in experience was much better than anticipated, and the caring staff made our dear friend feel right at home.

Excellent experience! The staff made our father feel very special and helped him get through his nervous first day. Thank you all.

The Activity Director, she set up a video call with our family member. All of us were so happy to see our mom (or grandmom) she did a wonderful job!

I laughed at the jokes you sent me yesterday. It made me laugh when I didn't think I could laugh. I laughed so much.

My Dad found a home at Pacifica. He loves the activities and food. It is so nice to know he is happy.

The staff are attentive, responsive, caring and loving. The administrator is extremely helpful. The food is good and activities varied and appropriate to the population.

We had a wonderful tour with [name removed]. The residents were involved with activities and seemed very happy. The apartments are very nice and much larger than the other ones we toured. Pacifica is a great place.
