Friendly and helpful staff.

Really nice place! Food is good. Lovely outdoor courtyards for people to walk around. We like that we didn't have to leave Santa Barbara to visit our loved one.

We have seen some changes in the time that our Mom has lived here and I must say they are all positive! The new director there seems to know what she is doing and is very knowledgeable about dementia. [name removed], who has been there for a long time has been promoted as well and I am very pleased with the decision because she knows each resident. Together, they have made this place feel even more like home. The staff are kind and gentle, which makes all the difference for us. We have peace of mind knowing our Mom is safe. The team there have done such a great job keeping everyone healthy in the middle of covid. Thank you for taking such good care of our mom!

Our family are so grateful to the team of Pacifica Santa Barbara. They are so loving and make my Aunt feel special each day. She can be difficult at times and we have seen how patient the caregivers are with her. We know she is in good hands there. The building is clean, there are lots of places for the residents to go while still being safe inside, and the food is delicious. My Aunt is a picky eater but she loves the chef's grilled salmon and baked potato.

My mom has lived at Pacifica for 6 months. Her needs have been well cared for: dining, bathing, medications, housekeeping, social activities... The employees are caregivers and they love the community of the elderly. I find them very approachable and knowledgeable. I would and have recommended Pacifica to others. I give thanks to God for providing my mom's needs through the caregivers at Pacifica. May God continue to bless and keep each person at Pacifica and bring increase.

It's hard making a decision to place a loved one, thankfully I made the best decision when I placed her at Pacifica it's been a loving home for my mom and I never have to worry as I have a peace fo mind she is taken care of 100% satisfied.

My mother has now been in the memory care facility at Pacifica for over a year and a half since we moved here from San Diego. Since we began her in memory care over six years ago, Pacifica remains a top-notch facility and far better from the highly-rated facility she was in San Diego. I never knew how lacking she was until we found Pacifica. She is not only well taken care of, but the love and attention the staff provides to not only my mother but to all residents is evident. They tend to my mother's likes and dislikes while keeping her in activities and meals in a custom-like manner. They are on top of any health issues that might arise and are quick to communicate these issues to our family My mother is simply living the best life she could have with having dementia and being 91. All the staff not only know every resident, but they all know family members of the residents During these trying times of COVID-19, so much precaution is placed under the caring caregivers (all love!). [name removed] executive director, [name removed] community relations director and the resident care director [name removed] (for my mother in memory care) who are truly like family to all the residents and family alike. I am grateful that the infrequent times I have called, [name removed] at the front desk (in the assisted care building) knows who I am and my mother! The family of [name removed] is thankful for Pacifica.
