This is a friendly, clean facility. The staff are excellent. Always available to help you. One can read, play games, or do absolutely nothing! I love living here.

I like the friendliness, the food and the people. The staff is efficient and helpful.

I cannot say enough great things about the Parkwood Retirement Community. My Mother lived there for several years and it is one big happy family. The staff are great and were very attentive to her needs. They definitely go above and beyond for the residents.

The tour at this community was really good and the community did a good job showing us around and giving us the information that I needed.

We have recommended this place to other family members to move in already. We tell everyone we love it. Housekeeping comes once a week and cleans her apartment thoroughly along with changing her sheets. If you have any issues and call the staff, they come immediately to help. They have been very helpful helping her. The resident gets a life alert necklace included in the fee. She has a washer and dryer in her apartment. Each floor has it's own washer and dryer for the residents that don't have one in their apartment. They offer bingo, ice cream social, pancake social, bridge, a golf video game, water aerobics, seated aerobics in their full gym as activities amongst others. They have church services and bible study. They offer transportation to restaurants on Tuesdays, grocery shopping on Fridays, and doctor or hair appointments as well. It is always available with scheduling in advance. They have very good food and their menu has plenty of choices to choose from at meal times.

My loved one went into rehab at this community. I like this one a lot and what they were able to do for my loved one.

This community was nice, however it just seemed to be over elegant it was just not really my loved ones style.

Parkway Place is a very nice facility and we enjoyed our tour with them. They have a lot to offer, but it was too pricey for us.

Our staff members are all pleasant and caring. Our food is unusually good and varied. Our housekeeping is regular and efficient. Our entertainment is frequent and enjoyable with some seasonal and original games. We have weekly live music with snacks and our favorite table games with expected regularity. You can expect Parkwood to truly feel like your home!

From the moment we first visited Parkwood my Mom & I were so impressed! Lovely apartment floor plans, great grounds & clubhouse and caring employees. Mom has made so many new friends and stays busy with all the fun activities. Mom hasn't been this happy in a long time! It's such a relief for our entire family. Might seem crazy, but this is my genuine, honest opinion of Parkwood. Cannot speak highly enough of this facility!

I have lived at Parkwood for several years now and I can honestly say I made a great decision. I enjoy living here. I have made a lot of friends. I feel very safe. I enjoy the food and everyone is very nice. I like my apartment. I gladly recommend Parkwood!

I would say to come and visit because you will enjoy it. They have activities like work outs all day, indoor swimming pool, there is a card room, a theater and evening activities. There is so much to do that you cant get to all of it.

I'm thankful that I left Alabama and all I know to come to Calder Woods. I have found a lovely home, caring staff and great new friends. I am very happy here and feel truly blessed! Because I am so content with my situation, my children are relieved of worrying about me and that pleased me.

We only been here 2 months. But we are feeling at home. It is great and restful. There are lots of amenities. Large pool and water exercise. Work out room. Games, movies and plenty of activity. Good food and 2 places to eat. Come take a tour!

I am glad that the facility is faith based. It is clean and pleasant. The employees are all very helpful and kind. There are daily activities. The food is excellent.

I have lived here for five years now and am thankful for the decision to move here. I am in independent living, but maintenance take care of the lawn and day problems with the building. Many activities are available and Main St café offer excellent meals. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the way in which they cared for residents is the snow storm in February was amazing. Assisted living and long term care are available if I should need them as I grow older.

Recently moved to BRC. Love it. My new home is beautiful. Everyone is so kind and professional as well as very friendly. My new neighbors are wonderful as well. I'm so glad I found this place. My family is happy as well. Thank you!
