Have been with Parkwood Retirement Community for 6 wonderful years. The staff here for their very best to service. The staff here do their very best to service all to the best of their abilities. Plan to reside here till it is time for me to move for the last time.

My mother ended up recovering and returning to her home, but she made good friends and my sisters and I felt very safe having her at Parkway Place while she recovered.

Just began my 4th year as a resident. Have been very pleased that I moved here. Staff goes above and beyond seeing to out comfort. Residents are friendly. Food is good. Community has become like a second family. So glad U don't have to worry about a house anymore.

It is conveniently located in the DFY area. Excellent access to Dallas, Arlington and Fort Worth and the cities in between. The apartment sizes are excellent, especially for the price.

I have been here 6 years. It is the best thing I have done. It is friendly and supportive, the activity staff keeps us busy. The staff is always available any time. The food is excellent and a great variety. Clean and proud to live here.

My mother-in-law moved into Parkwood in 2016. It was perfect for her, she lived in a one bedroom apartment. In this complex, there were always a lot of activities for the residence. She also enjoyed the food and spending time down in the dining room with her friends. Our family always received a lot of support from the staff at Parkwood. They were always there when we needed them.

As a resident, I am grateful for Parkwood. All the staff has gone out of their way to help me when I had a problem. One example of this concerns a gluten-sensitivity condition that I have. They help me find foods I can tolerate.

So my parents found themselves homeless after a house fire. Both of them have mobility issues with my mom being in a wheelchair. [name removed] from Buckners really went the extra mile to find a spot for them and was able to get one of the cottages modified for my mom in record time. The space is absolutely beautiful and everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. My mom and dad say they feel like they are on a cruise. Thank you everyone for helping us in what has otherwise been a traumatizing event.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Parkwood Independent Living community for the care and compassion shown to my parents ([name removed]and [name removed]) during their stay at Parkwood. While my father found it difficult to part with their house in Euless, he did find a community that made the transition to Parkwood pleasant. My mother found just exactly what she was looking for in friendships, food, and service. I highly recommend the Parkwood community to those looking for a retirement setting of comfort and companionship they can call home.

Buckner is fabulous! The experience has been excellent.

We moved into our apartment in the middle of December. This was the best decision we have made in our 42+ years of marriage. We looked around at all the options that were available to us and decided Parkwood was the best move for us. The cost is reasonable. Two meals a day makes the grocery bill almost non-existent. There are things to do each day to keep us busy and we get to meet new friends. To us, one of the best things is the community spirit at Parkwood . Trips daily by bys to grocery stores and dinner at several places close by all provided by Parkwood as well as bus service to doctors and other places can be arranged. Daily trash pickup and weekly maid service are nice, too. When we decided to make the move the folks at Parkwood made it very easy for us. The best thing I think is the community, people call us by name, and when they don't see us for a while they check on us. Another reason we decided on Parkwood is that my mom lived here several years ago and loved it.

This place has the most friendly residents and help you could ask for. We are very happy and content with our accommodations.

The menu doesn't change that much at all and food is very bland. They seem to have a hard time keeping serving staff on hand. They also close the cafe at times due to shortages and that doesn't help those that don't cook anymore. Considering that specific town and lack of choices I would still say it's the top place. My parents are getting so much more there than they did before moving. They are getting more exercise daily by walking to the cafe. They have so many friends now that it's better for them mentally because they are engaging in conversation more. They love the convenience of having a nurse or doctor during the week as well as a barber/beauty shop and free rides to/from medical appointments and once weekly to local store. Laundry on site too.

Extremely supportive staff especially at the beginning when it is hard emotionally. The rooms and facilities are not clinical but homey and cozy.

Safety is an important factor. Gated parking for residents, always have someone at the reception desk or security person at night. Staff is great about helping with anything you ask them to do. If they can't help, they will put you in contact with someone that can help.

I feel really good about my mom being at Parkway Place and in their care. I am not worried at all. Communication with the family is great, the staff knows who the residents are and chat with them. The meals are AMAZING! I would highly recommend Parkway Place to others.

Independent Living Residency at Parkwood Retirement Community has been a great experience for me, and I highly recommend it. I have resided at Parkwood, in a single bedroom apartment, since May 2019. There are lots of activities offered and you can choose those of interest to you. Knowing that I would be having hip surgery within the first year here, I really appreciated the support of staff in preparing for that event, and during my recovery as well. During the pandemic, staff were exceptional in assuring us and our families of a safe and secure environment and they also provided stimulating activities to help prevent any feeling of isolation. Love the friendly, caring staff and residents. Have found some wonderful neighbors and friends so I am enjoying my senior years Parkwood.

My mother likes her compact apartment, and feels safe at Sunrise. She says there are a lot of activities every day and it's ok if you don't want to participate. The staff keep an eye out for all residents and mom enjoys the dining room!

I enjoy living at Parkwood. The residents are very friendly and accepting. The staff is helpful. I love the trees here. I enjoy my apartment and it feels like home. I feel safe. We are a family at Parkwood.

We chose Parkwood sight unseen. But I did a very thorough job with my research before choosing.Parkwood. We were looking for trees , and a nice comfortable yard landscape. We were coming from Az. Our son lived close by is why we came to Parkwood.We were extremely pleased with our choice. Our apartment had everything we needed-we had a lovely patio and everything we need is within a very short distance from us. But what we found was so perfect were the residents. Everyone is very content here and very warm and loving. The best way I can describe Parkwood is WE FOUND A FOREVER HOME.
