Buckner Villas is the perfect environment for us. Friendliness of residents, attention to individual needs by staff and management, good food, availability of varied exercise classes, a gym with trainer, entertainment events, daily movies, and pleasant grounds for walking-all contribute to safe and comfortable living conditions.

Everything has been great at Parkwood so far, everything on the inside of the community, the outside and the landscaping is very well taken care of. The staff members are wonderful. The meals are well prepared and there is a big variety to choose from. The activities are ramping back up and what we can see looks really good. The value for cost is great our loved one is very well taken care of.

Although we my husband and I have only lived here 3 months we are very happy. Staff-exceptional each and every one always available. Requests made are handled promptly and willing. Moving from one's home is difficult Calder Wood helped with the transition. Thank you Calder Woods

I have been here for 2 years and have enjoyed the food, the service of the staff and meeting and making new friends.

I have lived in Calder Woods for 6 years this January. This is a wonderful safe, beautiful, retirement home. How can I describe it. Friendly people swimming pool (heated) large gym, movies, bistro, bingo, happy hour, I could go on and on. Oh yes my favorite a large library.

After a few health scares my daughter and I decided to visit Calder Woods and pick out an apartment. I love the new garden apartments and found one just right for me. I'm happier and healthier now- no worries thanks to Calder Woods!

Calder Woods is great! The people who work here are so kind and helpful. the food is great and all of the people I visit with are so nice. I plan to stay at Calder Woods forever!

I moved here 3 months ago. I came from a suburb of Houston where I owned a house and wanted to downsize. However this was a place with enough space for me, my cats and my baby grand piano. I enjoy the residents in independent living and the group activities, swimming, and gym in particular.

My mother has enjoyed being a resident at Parkwood Independent Living for almost 9 years. When she moved in, the residents and staff at Parkwood immediately made her feel a part of the “Parkwood family”. Many of the staff who were there when she moved to Parkwood are the still there today! Numerous amenities and varied activities are available to residents wishing to participate. The activity director even went “above and beyond” to make certain that the residents weren’t isolated during Covid closures. When weather permitted, concerts, games, and activities were brought to each of the three building’s outdoor courtyard/gazebo. Social distancing was practiced, and everyone was encouraged to participate. This kept the residents engaged, but in a safe environment. I feel so thankful to have found a home for Mom at Parkwood and I encourage others to take a tour when considering a move. The care and respect the staff shows everyone is greatly appreciated.

I am 95 years old-lived at Calder Woods 12 years-The best move I ever made and it is home. The community cares for its residents and makes every effort to make it a wonderful home. All of the departments are trying to make everyone happy and that is a tall order. I will highly recommend this community to anyone.

I consider Parkway an excellent choice for this phase of my life. The facilities are excellent, the food is good, and I love the Christian outlook here. I have lived here eight years and highly recommend it.

We stay out of each others business. I love the building design, the comfortably homelike decor and special to me are the beautiful old trees in the courtyard. I'm happy here.

Buckner Westminster Place was a very good fit for my mother in law. The help was wonderful and that is what really made the place. We had a few issues with the phone and we could not get through to people in the memory care unit, but they were doing remodeling so that is temporary. I would recommend this facility to others looking.
