The associates at Parkway work hard taking care of our needs and scheduling interesting activities. Those who work here and live here are very friendly.

I am content living here.

I have lived at Calder Woods 5 years. The people that live here are very nice and pleasant. We have many games we play for fun such as 42, bridge, bingo, and others. We have exercise classes also swim classes. We have a library with many books to read. Colder Wood is a good place to live.

Our family had an in person tour and we liked the community but they do not integrate their assisted living folks with the senior living folks which is something I did not really like. However, the room sizes were very nice but the community just gave off a different vibe.

We have lived here for 6 years and love it. Of course, there will always be situations. our one big care is security. (gates with no locks, entrance and exit gate open 6am-9pm.) Most people that move to retirement homes are looking for security.

I would recommend this community for your loved one. The staff were good and perfect with my loved one.

The community is clean, the aids are very kind and they care about the residents. We would recommend this community, however for a non-profit community the value for cost is extremely extensive. But we are very satisfied and pleased with it overall.

The staff members are always fantastic, unfortunately our loved one is not impressed with the food. Due to covid it is now being delivered to their rooms, and we do know they offer a good amount of activities.

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Aunt. They told us about the activities they provided like games and trips; they even had a hair dresser. However, they wouldn’t allow pets and that ultimately was what made us decide against moving her in. The man that gave us the tour introduced us to a lot of the other staff members and everyone we met was very friendly. The dining area was nice and the food was good. The cleanliness was good and we were told that housekeeping cleans the rooms weekly. The way they had it decorated looked bright and cheery but you could tell it was dated. The room we looked at was nice, though, and a little bit bigger than other places we had seen

I just spoke with my sister the other day, and she is doing excellent since her move to this community. I know she is safe, and in a good facility here. The staff is treating her well, and taking good care of her. Everything is working out well for her in this community, and I would recommend it.

I like this community when we visited. The people we met were friendly and helpful. The community seemed clean. They did not have an opening when we visited.

My mother recently moved here from another community and it is going very well. The place is clean and the staff is all very friendly. They are taking good care of her.

I am very happy with the community. They keep the community very clean. The staff are nice and assist with her needs. She is happy with the meals and variety. They are offering her activities that she is enjoying. I would recommend this community for the good care, but the it is a little costly. I am very happy that this is a closer to location so that I can visit more often.

My loved one wishes he didn't feel as if they were keeping an eye on him, so maybe if they were a little more discreet he would feel more comfortable. As far as my experience goes, they are very kind and as helpful as they can be, so I think that they do a good job. I don't have anything in mind that they can improve on.

A lovely quiet setting close to medical facilities. Friendly staff and residents. There are a range of living options within the same geographical area. The Independent/Assisted Living buildings have outside entrances, a central gazebo and one elevator per building. Walkways between the buildings are covered.

So far so good. I cannot rate the activities because my loved one does not participate in them. Parkwood Retirement is a friendly and clean community. The value is also great. The care services are 5 stars as well. I would highly recommend this place.

She is very happy there. The people are very warm and welcoming. The food is very good. They have little get togethers. It's going very good. The only issue she is having is that they are a little slow to respond to maintenance issues. Other than that it's great!

Everything is good, they are doing fine. I don't have any complaints. It's clean and they do what they are supposed to.

We toured here when we were looking for a place. It was very nice and we really liked it. It was just too expensive for what we could afford. It was clean, and everyone was friendly. It looked like a good place.

The services rely on the resident to initiate them. If you have a resident who doesn't want to be a burden or a problem, that might not be the best for the resident. I think they need to do a little more to initiate the services. I think we chose them for their ability to accommodate us, initially.
