Everyone was very nice. [name removed] answered all my questions & was very helpful. I liked Parkwood very much except for the fact that it doesn’t have a pool. I’m not ready to make a decision yet but will certainly consider this facility.

General manager is like a big brother/dad to all the clients. We wear a call button and it only took about 4 minutes for him to be in our apartment when we used it to call for help. Ambulance was here in 10-12 minutes. He stayed with us till my husband was in the ambulance and headed to the hospital.

This is my first experience with memory care. I have been very satisfied with the treatment to my loved one. Several instances I wish could have been avoided but not possible in a facility dealing with memory care residents. The staff assist her as much as possible.

My dad & his wife moved in approx 4 yrs ago. Fairly easy process. On several occasions their meals had to be delivered to them, no problems. My dad's wife spent the last couple of months of her life either in the hospital or nursing home, Parkwood prorated the 1st month she wasn't in the apartment for the whole month, then changed the bill to single occupancy for the next month with no problems. My dad continues to live there & enjoys many of the activities provided & the camaraderie with other residents.

I love living at Parkway. They take care of us and it's nice to have friends among the employees. The rooms are nice, meals are good, and activities are fund and intended for us to participate. It's a nice place to live and I would recommend anyone who was looking for a place to live. Fix the dryer on the 3rd floor please.

I have lived at Calder Woods 5 years the people that live here are very nice and pleasant. We have many games we play for fun such as 42, bridge, bingo, and others. We have exercise classes. Also swim classes. We have a library with many books to read. Calder Woods is a good place to live.
