I would rate a 5. My Dad who all other family members were certain would be unsuccessful is thriving and happy there. He is of sound mind and not easy to please. Brookdale, University Park went above and beyond for my Dad personally going to his doctor to achieve his plan of care so that he could move in on time. He has nothing but glowing reviews for the staff, the food, and the communication about in-house services. All around 5 stars!

I was invited to tour Brighton MI Brookdale through the Howell Senior Center. They even arranged transportation for me and I had a great tour of the building - I was able to see the model one bedroom and was highly impressed. It was a lot larger than I expected. The facility is very lively, bright and the staff are extremely friendly and professional. [name removed] in admissions has been there over 12 years. I look forward to coming back to future events I had a blast!

Choosing an assisted living establishment for a loved one is a monumental decision, and for us, the most important factor was finding a place that fosters a caring and loving culture. We are happy to say that Brookdale excels in this regard. In fact, my mom's friend was so impressed by our experience and the quality of care here that she also chose to move to Brookdale, for the same reasons! What sets this community apart is the dedication of their staff. Many team members have been with Brookdale for a long time, which speaks volumes about the environment they've created. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares for the residents, and that makes all the difference. Another crucial consideration for families is cost. We had unfortunately experienced situations with other facilities where existing residents were seemingly prioritized less favorably compared to new clients, with explanations of "across the board" cost increases that didn't align with observed practices. We've found Brookdale to be much more transparent and consistent in their approach to costs, which provides significant peace of mind. Brookdale was willing to negotiate an affordable rent, which was a huge relief. While they do offer additional services that can be expensive, we appreciate the flexibility to choose only what we need. Their focus truly seems to be on providing excellent care, rather than simply maximizing profit. Beyond care and cost, opportunities for activities, outings, and engagement are incredibly important for our moms well-being. Brookdale provides a good variety of activities that keep residents engaged and offer opportunities for social interaction and outings. Finally, the sense of community at Brookdale is just right. It's not too small or too large, which is a perfect balance for residents to genuinely connect and make friendships. We wholeheartedly recommend Brookdale to any family seeking a compassionate, affordable, and engaging assisted living community.

Place looked fantastic. Very clean, people friendly, and many, many amenities. Dining room very spacious and lunch was delicious. Many activities available for residence. Enjoyed the tour it was very nicely decorated. The podiatrist was here today. Different style rooms for every preference.

Very responsive and helpful! From the time we contacted [name removed], she answered all of our questions and provided a walk through of the facility via FaceTime. She understood our urgency of finding a place for mom and jumped through hoops getting her a room in a matter of days. [name removed], has found her calling as the Executive Director of the facility. She fosters a team of caring, respectful and knowledgeable personnel. We are out of state, and the entire team at Brookdale Kingsley has been very responsive and usually gets back to us immediately or within an hour or two. Our mom has adjusted well and is always raving about how nice everyone is. The facility is very clean and well maintained. They offer activities daily and encourage involvement. I love living here. I’m in a cottage, 2 bedroom,2 bath. I love the kitchen and the appliances. I have a washer and dryer too. I also have a garage for my car. Beautiful grounds and lots of walking areas. There are tons of activities to get involved with too. Staff are friendly and helpful .

I rate Brookdale Senior Living Community on Meadowvista Dr. I rate it a 5. This is a perfect place for seniors. It has everything a person needs and a very good life. The staff at Brookdale is very friendly and helpful, ground floor apartments, fresh paint, clean, good appliances (mine were new) AC in each apartment, back door and patio, trees, 2 washers and 2 dryers on each hall (free), house keeping each week, internet, wifi, TV cable, utilities, activities, 3 meals and day (Food is very good) also 3 or more entrees to choose from, the staff in the dining room are very good and friendly. I was able to bring my 2 cats. Location and parking area is good. Glad to share my opinion.

Everyone there is wonderful from the housekeepers to the management! Moral is high among staff, lots of activities, great food, they are family inclusive (inviting family members to dine with residents on occasions), very clean.

The environment is warm, clean, and thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of those with memory challenges. Brookdale North has given our family peace of mind knowing our loved one is in such compassionate and capable hands. We are truly grateful for the outstanding level of care and customer service they provide. Highly recommend!

My sister is well cared for. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to. She says they take good care of her and that she gets plenty to eat. She has made friends with other ladies who are residents. Staff spent extra time with when she arrived to help her adjust. She gets in house PT and they report on her progress. They keep encouraging her.

After one year, my dad has settled in nicely. It is close to the local 'walk in clinic' & the hospital . He has visited both during this past year. Of course, the pricing may in fact put him in a position to relocate. He remains healthy & we are in continual prayer he will pass quickly, when the time comes. He is ready for Heaven
